As a first-generation Latina, this is an excellent read. Jannese's experience is similar to what many others have lived through with the advice and money insecurity that first-generation Americans are brought up with. Her advice is great for breaking the mentality that has been instigated due to certain defining experiences that don't necessarily represent how we should be saving, investing and spending our money.

This book is was very beneficial to read. It is a accessible guide to financial literacy. The book covers a variety of different topics from budgeting, investing, building wealth and so much more. There is a strong focus on mindset and behavior which is crucial to changing a person's financial situation. The whole book is framed towards the latino community which is much needed. This is a necessary read for anyone who wants to better their financial situation!

Friendly, encouraging, with good practical advice, Financially Lit! is the money book to help uplift Latinas and other women of color. I appreciated the author's personal story along with her practical tools.
