I always love the settings of this authors books and this one is no different.

The way she weaves the setting together with the characters is wonderful, especially ones you don’t think are super relevant at first-it really is excellent writing.

I would recommend this book to everyone, it’s a good read about people and everyone likes that right?

Very shocking and twisty. The traumatic incident at the start set the mood perfectly for the rest of the book. I really felt that these secrets that were coming out were perfectly placed in the story.

Really tense and atmospheric, I wouldn't have expected anything less from this author.

I loved this book. It was well paced, full of interesting characters and kept my interest throughout.
The plot had some good twists.
I did feel that one of the characters was incredibly naive and this was annoying at times, but on the whole it was a good read.

This was a great read although I did feel it flagged a bit in the middle. However the final third flew by with revelation after revelation and all the strands tied together beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommended.

Best book so far for me by Jane Corry,I raced through this one to find out what really happened on a day that changed so many lives. Each character was well depicted with their own secrets some alot bigger than others which made for a very good storyline.
I found myself liking and feeling sorry for a few characters and really disliking others which is all down to the authors great writing ability.
The extra little twists at the end rounded the story off very well.
Recommended.
Thanks to Netgalley and Penguin General UK for the ARC.

I'm always in for a novel by Jane Corry. I enjoyed I Died on a Tuesday despite finding it a little too muddled for my taste. When I thought you couldn't pile up more info or hidden skeletons, new ones appeared! Still, the characters were interested and felt real, as always with Jane. I couldn't help but wonder about everyone's secret and the plot managed to keep me intrigued until the end. It was an enjoyable read.

Thank you for allowing me to review this thriller. This story follows three characters. Janie, the victim, Robbie the perpetrator, and Vanessa the witness support officer.. What happened 20 years earlier and will the truth come out? What will be the consequences? Who benefits from the outcome?
This story began with promise and I quickly read on, however about halfway through I began to lose interest. I felt the story slowed and became repetitive of past events. It was interesting, how everyone has different recollections of the events and their involvement.

This is an intelligent thriller that explores the impact of people's actions on others lives. Jane is a an acomplished author and her novels always make me think. This is her best book so far in my opinion.

This is a very competently written story. Three main characters but with many others interwoven and initially it’s hard to see how they all connect. Tragedy, twists galore and an unexpected ending. An extraordinary and very worthwhile read.
My thanks to the author, the publisher and to Net Galley for allowing me to read an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Jane Corry is one of my go to thriller authors, I was super chuffed to get an early copy of I Died on a Tuesday. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s one of Jane’s best, the plot was really interesting but I felt it got a bit messy and over complicated towards the end.
3.5 stars.

I really enjoy Jane Corry and this did not disappoint. The author has a great way of hooking you from the start and her use of switching timelines keeps you gripped to the very end.

The premise of this book was brilliant and it started off really well.

Unfortunately, despite the first half being fast paced, I found it quickly slowed and it took me a while to finish it as I began to lose interest.

Loved the writing style though and I’ve heard brilliant things about Jane Corry so hopefully I can find another that I’d like more!

I died on a Tuesday by Jane Corry is complete story and is about what you believe and what the reality really is. There are three main characters in this storyline.
The victim; An eighteen year old girl called Jane, who is just about to leave home and pursue a career she always wanted.
The criminal; world famous rock star, Robbie, who harbours a shocking secret about the fateful day a young woman was knocked off her bike and left for dead.
The Protector; Witness support worker, Vanessa, who tries to right the wrong she has discovered.
Now it has come back to haunt all of those involved. The Truth will set some people free and imprison others.
A fascinating and complicated thriller where everything is turned upside down in the search for the truth.
Highly recommended

This book started off well then seemed to tail off . An OK read but not one of my favourite books by Jane Corry

I Died on a Tuesday is an easy, undemanding read with a plot that just keeps on giving. Although the story has some very dark moments it's written in a compelling and 'light' way that sometimes oversimplifies the charaters' natures but I enjoyed it. My thanks to netgalley and the publishers for my chance to read in return for an honest review.

I Died on a Tuesday by Jane Corry

I enjoyed this intriguing novel from page one, a beautiful and descriptive writing that keeps you reading.

The plot begins twenty years ago and each chapter is read by a different character: Robbie, a musician, Vanessa, a 69-year old lady, a widow of three years, her husband was a detective inspector in the police force and Janie, a victim of a road traffic hit and run accident. The plot is clever and intriguing. The storyline made me think, prodded me, provoked me until it got under my skin. I laughed and cried reading this captivating book! The plot, writing and characters made this storyline work. I had no idea what was going to happen.

The book is about family, lies, secrets, bereavement, abuse, love and friendship.

I give a 5 star rating and recommend this novel.

THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY FOR THE OPPORTUNITY OF READING AN ADVANCED READING COPY OF THIS BOOK IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW
