Snowed in with the Seal, was fun to read. A couple of the things in the book felt like a memory from other books. I thought that maybe I had already read it. Just very similar. After reading as many books as I have there is bound to be some similarities eventually. I'm so glad that Lila and Parker had Preston to rely on when the tough times came their way.

Title: Snowed in with the Seal
Author: Katie Knight
Genre: Suspense Romance
Rating: 4 stars

Review:

This SEAL second chance romance was a really great read. If I’m going to read a contemporary romance, I would rather it be a suspense or thriller style, and this was definitely a great suspense book. Preston and Lila are a cute couple, and their reunion is not all roses and happiness. They work back into things slowly, which I liked. I also liked the mystery around the “accidents” happening around them, though the culprit was pretty obvious to me from the beginning.

The characters are likeable and down to earth, and I really enjoyed the book, and while I might know who was behind things and why, I was still invested in finding out what happened and how things would be resolved. If I had one complaint, it would be that I wanted a little more backstory on both of them, and a better motivation for the villain. Or at least maybe more solid foundation for the beginning of all the drama. (I’m trying not to spoil anything!)

If you enjoy military/SEAL romances and second chance romances, I think you’d definitely enjoy this one!

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in advance!

Such a great book. This book had such a great story line and well written. It kept me on the edge of my seat with all the things that were going on. Their love story had a lot of things to overcome but it was so worth it. It kept me wondering what was going to happen and why it was happening. I was flying through the pages wanting to know how it was going to go and what was going to happen next. Such a good book I highly recommend it.

The time she spent with Navy SEAL Preston Lawson, before his deployment, was everything she hoped for. Lila Holden, having lost her parents and brother, has no one but now she has beautiful memories of her time with Preston. She loves him, but knows she may never see him again. She is shocked when she realizes that she is pregnant with his child. Trying to contact him, she is devastated to learn that he was killed in action. Her grief is unbearable, but she must go on for their child. Preston is unaware that he was listed as killed in action, but now needs to remain “dead” to find out who compromised their mission. How will he react when he comes face to face with Lila and his son? How will she react to learn that he is alive? After she suffers several near accidents, were they accidents or is someone trying to kill her? Very enjoyable romantic suspense, especially his time getting to know his son. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Just finished this short and sweet book, I love any books that have ANYTHING to do with Seals or any form of the Army. That being said, this book was really good. I'd give it a 4.75.
Now, I'd give it a 5, but something just isn't clicking for me, ya know?

Snowed in with the Seal, is about Preston Lawson a Seal that's an orphan after his father died when he was younger and has nobody, he gets injured during a mission and papers state he had died. What does he do, not having anyone? He stays dead and goes after the enemy.

Only to have some pretty interesting news thrown at him three years later when hr finally get a vacation.

4.75/5🌟

You are hooked into your book from the very beginning, The author has given us a story whit some drama, hidden desire, love, passion but also security and lots of emotions and heat. Highly recommended to read.

Snowed in with the seal had great cover art and great description both of which drew me in. But there was less being “snowed in” and lots of seemingly improbable plot points.

Going on this adventure with Preston, Lila, and Parker was definitely entertaining. As long as you’re willing to truly suspend disbelief for the duration of the read, it’s easy to go along for the ride as a Navy Seal on vacation protects the woman he’s falling for from an untold danger, and he struggles with whether or not his future lies with her, or with his current mission. This book wont exactly change your outlook on life, but its a light, quick, and fun read - full of exciting twists and turns.
