You can plan your life down to the last detail, but planning only goes so far! What's a girl to do when she has planned, planned and planned some more, but life throws a hike in the middle of her path? Well, take a hike, of course! This city girl tried to shape herself into the perfect girlfriend for her boyfriend of eight months when he decides that she isn't enough, so she takes the trip she had planned for his birthday by herself. The only problem is that it was a trip planned around what he said he liked which definitely put this city girl out of her comfort zone! Turns out, getting out of your comfort zone is exactly what one needs to do sometimes in order to find the real path that they should be walking on. This audiobook was narrated very well. It really was able to bring Presley's feelings, emotions and adventures to life. The plot was entertaining, engaging and enthralling. I listened until late into the night as I didn't want to stop listening and have to wait until the next day to find out what was going to happen next? It's a sweet romance wrapped into a life lesson on thinking outside the box and not letting go of your dreams to fit inside someone else's dreams unless of course, their dreams and your dreams can sit side by side! I'm hoping this is the beginning of a series as I could totally see each of the characters in the story getting their own books....hint, hint....(not subtle at all!)
Sadly, I have never been so excited for a book to be over. Typically I am disappointed when I look down and see there is less than an hour left of a story I've found myself immersed in but this was not the case with Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan.
*The narration was not the issue with this book, the narrator had a clear, enthusiastic voice.
Initially I was hooked with the beginning and the reason why Presley is stepping out of her element into the Wilderness, but then I felt like the book lost me, Honestly I felt like each character had their own subplot and they weren't pertinent to the story and took me out of it. I thought that the relationship was kinda weird between Beckett and Presley even though I liked them both separately as characters. I did like the influencer storyline and the cute situational happenings that occurred because of that- IYKYK. I wish that there were less characters and more development of Beckett & his family and Presley. The setting I also enjoyed but it was less about the actual outdoors and wilderness and more on renovation- which defeats the purpose a bit to have Presley go against the normal 'city' girl in her even if she did get her hands a bit dirty at times.
Overall I think this will be enjoyed by a lot of readers and I won't hesitate to pick up more from this author but it wasn't a hit for me.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review~!

This is my second try with this author and I'm very sad it didn't work...
Unfortunately, I felt like I was forced to listen to a story I didn't love, with a heroin I didn't connect with.
The third-person POV didn't help and the narrative wasn't appealing to me...
I don't know if I'll try again with this author, but maybe I will, They say the third is the charm.
I received an ARC from Mcmillan Audio through NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. And I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Omg this book was so adorable. I'm going to have to add it to my collection. The characters were sweet and relatable and you just felt good there Main characters

I read my first Sophie Sullivan book last year and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to pick this book up! I’m so happy to say it didn’t disappoint.
I did a mix of the ebook and audiobook, narrated by Julie Rogers, and I loved both methods.
I absolutely loved Presley and Beckett in this book! It has a city girl meets small-town guy aspect to it, and I loved the setting in this! Both characters are completely opposite, but they feel a connection towards one another right away. They were also so swoony and I loved Beckett’s cinnamon role side.
This is a closed-door romance, which I honestly didn’t mind. I loved the found family in this book, especially when it came to Beckett’s family. The side characters were just phenomenal, especially Ollie - such a fun and entertaining character!
This was an enjoyable read and I’ve honestly enjoyed this author’s writing and detail to storytelling so far. I can’t wait to pick more up in the future, and I really hope we get stories for Beckett’s brothers. This was fun, quick, swoony, and captivating - I enjoyed this one!
Thank you so much NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the review eARC and Macmillan Audio for the ALC in exchange for my honest review!
I loved the idea of this book, but the execution didn’t do it for me. It had some great moments, found family in the small town they were in, and an adorable cast of character. Sadly, the plot moved slowly, the instalove between our main characters within a day or two of our FMC breaking up with her boyfriend of I believe 8 months, and the lack of depth I felt from our leads made the book less enjoyable for me.
I have enjoyed other books by this author, so I may still try the other books she puts out in this series.
Thank you to NetGalley and SMP for an ALC.
I fell hard and fast for this book. Do you ever start reading a book and it is the exact book you wanted to be reading? That is how I felt about this book. It checked every box for me.
The synopsis: City girl Presley ends up alone on a trip to a remote fishing lodge, where she can’t deny the inexplicable draw to Beckett, the owner’s brother/ lodge staff/outdoors man.
This book is an opposites attract, close proximity, closed door romance that mostly takes place in a 10 day period on a small island. All of the characters are well written and real. I loved the side characters and really really hope some of them get their own books. Presley and Beckett’s chemistry was perfection. I was a puddle of swoon for most of the book. The tension! There is a little fake dating thrown in there and really, I love that trope! I was utterly delighted when it popped up.
Julie Rogers, the narrator, really gives this book like. She was pure perfection!
This book has all the romance and no drama.
Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan is a cute opposites attract rom-com set at a rustic fishing lodge. She's a concierge at a fancy hotel and social influencer; he's into flannel and fishing. They shouldn't work, but they slowly realize that they do. My husband is Mr. Outdoors, so I definitely felt some kinship with Presley as she struggles to find the joy in hiking, etc.
This was a cute, quick audiobook listen. If you like fish-out-of-water stores, pun maaaaybe slightly intended, and opposites attract, this would be a great romance to pick up. Julie Rogers delivers a great narration. She's one of the female narrators who can do male voices without me wanting to cry.
I had just read The Catch by Amy Lea, and the two books share some similar plot points, so I think I would have enjoyed this one more if I'd spaced them out a bit more, but that's not this book's fault. It was a planning fail on my end.
Love, Naturally is a cute romance from Sophie Sullivan. City girl meets country boy, and realizes small towns aren’t so bad. I enjoyed Presley’s ability to embrace new experiences and people as she takes a solo vacation she planned for her ex. Beckett steals her heart and the show. He was a great male lead with a sweet heart. Nice story with little angst and a happy ending. 3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
This was a cute premise and I enjoyed the wholesome energy of the island and the lodge, but I felt like it didn't do anything new for me unfortunately. I liked Ollie and enjoyed seeing the visitors to the island become part of the community there, but I didn't feel especially captivated by the romance. Normally, as their attraction grows, I become more invested in the connection between the main characters, but the opposite happened here. As we got closer to the end, I felt myself losing interest. I think the characters just weren't unique enough to pull me in?
This is such a cozy cute read/listen and Julie Rogers freaking killed it with the narration!! It’s told in dual POV which I usually prefer two narrators for but honestly she was so good, I was never confused on whose perspective/voice she was speaking in. The story flows naturally and is engaging throughout.
The book itself is just all around happy vibes. We’ve got forced proximity, small town guy / big city girl, save the new family business goodness! Beckett and Presley are super lovable main characters, both willing to go above and beyond for the ones they care about even if sometimes it’s to their own detriment. If they weren't they would never have met. I love that Presley describes herself as someone who goes all in and Beckett is the same way, even if he doesn’t think so at first. It's not instalove even though it takes place over only 10 days but there is definitely obvious attraction from the start which is realistic. There’s also a gaggle of adorable side characters that I’m really hoping make their way into Sophie’s next books👀 I would love for this to be at least a trilogy so fingers crossed that happens!
Honestly there’s nothing not to love about this one and it’s out today if you want to check it out.
Thank you Macmillan Audio & NetGalley for the advanced listener’s copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own!
Sophie Sullivan is a new author for me and one that I am glad I found. Thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to preview this audiobook . I have already ordered my paperback copy. Love, Naturally is out today 1/16/2024, do yourself a favor and pick this one up ASAP! You won’t be sorry.

Thank you to Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for an advanced copy of this book.
Presley Ayers is not a fan of the great outdoors, but she's willing to make an exception and surprise her boyfriend with a trip to Get Lost Lodge in Michigan. What she isn't aware of is that he already has a foot out the door of their relationship and breaks up with her the day she tries to surprise him. Presley decides to go on the trip regardless and see if she can figure out the alluring call of nature.
Beckett Keller has been desperately trying to help his family save the crumbling Get Lost Lodge so that they can keep it up and running. On top of that, he's got several different roads his life could take in the near future and he has no idea which one is best. But then Presley enters his world and all those plans might just be out the window anyway.
So I'm generally not an insta-love fan, however, it worked well for this short and sweet story. It was closed door, but with some seriously steamy kisses and the idea of more happening between Beckett and Presely. Both Beckett and Presley were at weird crossroads in their lives when they meet and I think that's part of the pull to each other. I loved the way that they got to know each other, and even being forced to fake date, until it became the real deal. There were moments in this story that just dragged along, which is why I gave this a lower rating.
I enjoyed the audiobook and thought that Julie Rogers did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. As a personal preference, I like having two different voices with a dual POV story. Rogers did make a great distinction between talking characters, however, there were times it was difficult to determine which POV we were in at the beginning of the chapter. I'm very thankful for the audiobook as I think it helped me through the slower parts.

Thank you Macmillan Audio for the advanced listening copy!
Presley Ayers is used to doing things for other people, especially as a highly requested concierge at an upscale hotel in Great Falls, MI. When she surprises her boyfriend of 8 months with a getaway to Get Lost Lodge, she's shocked when he responds so poorly that they end things all together, instead. Refusing to waste the vacation, big-city Presley sets out to Get Lost, determined to try new things and step out of her comfort zone. What she does NOT expect, is Beckett Keller -- brother to Get Lost's owner. While Beckett is trying desperately to help out his brother and to figure out his own future plans, he's instantly drawn to Presley and her fish-out-of-water persona. Presley only has a week at Get Lost, but what will they do with their instant attraction?
Overall this book was super cute and an enjoyable listen! I loved the narrator and thought she did a great job bringing the story to life. Insta-love is generally not my thing and I prefer some spicy in my romances, so I was just not made to love this one. For what it was, though, I enjoyed it more than I would have expected! Get Lost/Northern MI was a great setting for an outdoors-themed book, and it was fun to visualize the places I've been in Northern Michigan. All of the characters were so sweet and loveable, especially Ollie! Beckett's family was a fun addition to the dynamic and I loved the way that they were featured by not too heavily to take away from the story. With some fun banter and flirtation, plus Presley and Beckett's great personalities, I really enjoyed their love story!
I loved the nature resort/cabin location, and the family angle was really sweet. I'm hoping this is a new series coming, because all the characters were enjoyable. I liked this much more than the previous trilogy/brothers series. I wanted the characters to end up together as both deserved each other.
I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.
Adorable. That’s the word I have for this book. Adorable. Presley Ayers surprises her boyfriend with a trip to Get Lost Lodge. When he asks if he can take someone else on the trip instead of her, Presley has a revelation and dumps him on the spot. Instead of losing out on the money she has already spent, Presley goes on the 10-day trip by herself even though she is anything but rustic. Of course, she meets Beckett, whose family runs the Lodge and *swoon* he is charming and everything a girl can hope for. I love the city girl in a small-town vibe. The characters were wonderful. I love Beckett and his siblings, how they worked together in a family business, but didn’t allow it to get in the way of their family. Presley’s character grows as she tries to find herself and become more comfortable standing up for what she wants. As an interior designer, I loved the parts of fixing up the lodge and rehabbing the rooms! I also loved the North Michigan setting, not one that is normally written about. I walked away with a smile on my face and my heart light. What more could you want from a romance novel?
This was a cute, easy read with Hallmark movie characteristics. It features a FMC who misses all the red flags from her garbage ex, a trip to an adorable small town, finding the MMC In said adorable small town, falling hard and falling fast, and a quirky cast of side characters! It is a closed-door romance, so the focus is fully on the relationship building without spice on page, but I think in this case on-page spice would detract from this book’s vibes. So if you pick this read, you can expect cute moments, warm fuzzies, and a sweet HEA. As for the narration, I would have loved a male narrator for the MMC’s perspective. It was slightly hard to follow who we were hearing from from moment-to-moment. But other than that, enjoyable.
Really enjoyed this small-town, contemporary romance. written by Sophie Sullivan, told from dual POV's. This is a closed-door romance.
Presley Ayers works as a concierge and has just planned a 10-day vacation for her boyfriend as a surprise. She is definitely not the outdoorsy type, but she will be a good sport in order to gift him the vacation of his dreams. But when he finds out about the trip, he would rather take someone else than spend ten days with her! She immediately breaks up with him and goes on the trip by herself.
On the boat ride to Get Lost Lodge on an island in Lake Michigan, she meets hunky outdoorsman Beckett Keller. Beckett's family owns the lodge and he is there to help. It is instant-attraction for Beckett and Presley as Beckett shows her how to hike and fish, and Presley shows Beckett the benefits of social media. The two soon become inseparable over the course of ten days as Presley becomes an adopted member of Beckett's family.
Romance Tropes: Fake-girlfriend, small-town, forced-proximity, opposites attract
I really enjoyed the small-town vibe and quirky side characters and guests. Would recommend for a fun, light read.
Thank you NetGalley for this opportunity to listen to the audiobook version of this ARC.
Love, Naturally is a cute, sweet, family-oriented (in that a family is central to the story—not that it qualifies as family entertainment) love-at-first-sight, closed-door romance.
I especially enjoyed the way Presley wanted to help the siblings grow their business and Beckett's relationship with his neighbor, Adam. There is a lot of warmth between the townspeople and between the lodge owners and their guests.
There's a recurring theme of Presley settling for less than she deserves, both romantically and professionally. A minimal amount of mild profanity is used (e.g. “sucked” and “figure shit out”). I thought the story started to drag a bit before or around the halfway mark; but, overall, I was invested in the story and glad for the happily-ever-after.
3.33⭐
Thank you, NetGalley and Macmillan Audio, for the audio ARC of the book in exchange for an honest review. Publication is expected January 16.
I love a good opposites-attract romance especially when our lead characters are adorable and have perfect chemistry.
What was supposed to be a 10-day wilderness surprise vacation for her boyfriend, ends up as Presley heading to Get Lost Log all by herself. Presley, a self-proclaimed city girl who considers sipping mimosas on the patio as ‘outdoorsy’, is determined to fix her broken heart by trying new things and enjoying this trip. But even getting off the boat onto the island is outside Presley’s’ comfort zone, but thanks to part owner Beckett, she’s saves from catastrophe on day one. As Beckett decides to give Presley the best outdoorsy experience possible, Presley might just surprise the entire Get Lost Log with her ideas for improvement. She and Beckett might also find that the other is naturally perfect for them.
This is such a charming story! I loved the relationship between Presley and Beckett and found them to have fairly good chemistry from the start. There is plenty of fun banter between our characters and while this is a romance, I really enjoyed the strong family focus. I’m sure this is lining us up for additional stories about Beckett’s siblings and I can honestly say I’m here for it.
My only ‘ick’ with the story, is who plans a surprise 10 DAY VACATION with someone you’ve been dating a few months. I’d lose my marbles if someone did this for me. At least start with a weekend away or something, but I digress.
What really made this story for me though, was the setting and cozy wilderness vibes Sullivan gave us. All I want to do is go to summer camp on an island or better yet, visit Get Lost Log now. I mean sign me up for #sexymoutainmen anyway. This is a perfect vacation read and one you should add to your Spring Break reading lists!
This low stakes, closed door romance is the perfect fit for fans of the opposites attract trope or if you’re looking for lighthearted. The audio presentation by Julie Rogers was also excellent and I highly recommend listening while sitting by a body of water!
