As someone who loves Hallmark movies and enjoyed Sophie Sullivan’s Jansen Brothers’ series, I was excited to receive this audio ARC.

Everything goes wrong after Presley surprises her boyfriend with a nature trip. She gets dumped and decides to take the trip solo. A city girl in nature, allows Presley to step outside of
her comfort zone and spend time with Beckett at Get Lost Lodge. Presley is able to help the Keller family keep their lodge and feel appreciated.

This is a cute closed door romance. Some parts dragged, but the side characters made up for it.

Julie Rogers did an amazing job narrating this book.

Tropes: Opposites attract, fake dating, insta love, small town boy/city girl, vacation romance

Thank you to Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for the audio ARC of this book!

Thank you to @NetGalley for letting me listen to the advanced audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

The idea of opposites attract is always great, but it just didn't seem natural or believable. The speed of the falling in love, without any plot to help, it was hard to not roll my eyes.

I loved the found family and the side characters. The small town feel, being there for your neighbors and supporting family through the thick and thin was heart warming. It was really the only part of this book I enjoyed.

This trope just wasn't executed to my liking. The trope of the city girl and the country boy just skipped over the relationship building and straight to love. In my opinion it needed more plot to build this relationship since they are so different, but wasn't.

This book wasn't for me, but I would like to try this author again in the future!

Love, Naturally is another "social media influencer" meets "stereotypical introvert hottie" wherein their immediate and perfect sex life smoothly translate into a perfect, mature romance.

Ew.

The characters are flat, the setting is bland, the drama is almost nonexistent. Author added in a token homosexual character just to say she did.

It gets one full star for normalizing talking about intentions for marriage during dating, which should be normal and not weird, but otherwise, this book is the equivalent of Conversation Hearts candies.

I listened to an audio-arc of this book from netgalley and MacMillan Audio to honestly read and review. The narrator is good, though since this book is split POV between the man and woman, it would have been better with a male narrator for his chapters.

This book was adorable! If you love Hallmark movies, you'll love, "Love Naturally."

The main character is so lovable! Presley is a city girl that works in an upper class hotel. She also has a large instagram following that she uses to promote cheap vacations and great deals. After an unexpected breakup, Presley finds herself on a solo vacation to a fishing lodge that she had heard about. The only problem is, Presley hates fishing, boats, and the outdoors. Things start to change for Presley when she meets Beckett, one of the co-owners of the lodge.

This book is a vacation romance, so the relationship does progress very quickly. Presley and Beckett were falling for each other on the first day Presley arrived at the lodge. I'm more of a slow burn fan, so that's why I gave this book a 4-star rating. My favorite part of the book was how Presley helped the struggling lodge promote the business online, and provide suggestions to improve the facility while she was on vacation. I do love a fixer upper story!

I also loved how Presley's relationship with the owners of the lodge blossomed throughout the story. Definitely a newfound family trope!

I'm calling this a "cracked door romance." You can see inside the room during romantic scenes, but there are no graphic descriptions.

Thank you to Sophie Sullivan and Macmilan Audio for the ARC copy of this book!

Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press for letting me listen to Love, Naturally early!

Love, Naturally is sweet, charming, and a Hallmark movie delightfully put into words. I thought the narration was fantastic and the story was predictable but sweet. I wasn’t a fan of Presley being an influencer, but loved that she put her influence into something special. I also liked her chemistry with Beckett and died when he became an instant celebrity due to his abs. That was top tier realism! Cute, sweet, and charming.

This was a great fluffy romance! I loved the found family and the town of Smile. I loved the way that Beckett and Presley supported each other and pushed each other to become better. The third act break up is well done and doesn’t totally follow the trope of third act break up. The country boy/ city girl dynamic is well done. There were only a couple brief moments where I thought it was too much. Overall it was the fluffy closed door romance that I needed. I hope we get to visit the town of Smile and the Get Lost Lodge again.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the audio review copy.

“Love, Naturally” by Sophie Sullivan weaves a captivating opposites-attract romance, skillfully narrated in a dual narrative against the backdrop of the charmingly rustic Get Lost Lodge. Presley’s journey beyond her comfort zone becomes a sensory experience, heightening the excitement in her unfolding romance with Beckett.

As she navigates unfamiliar terrain, Presley’s willingness to try new activities, such as fishing and contributing to the lodge’s revitalization, adds depth to the story. While the occasional feeling of lengthiness is present, the eventual narrative payoff makes it a worthwhile read.

The secondary characters enrich the overall experience, providing a well-rounded view of the world within the story. Overall, “Love, Naturally” is a delightful opposites-attract romance, recommended for those seeking the enchantment that comes with stepping outside one’s comfort zone.

In its audiobook version, narrated by Julie Rogers, the story gains an additional layer of depth. The dual narrative, brought to life by the voices of Presley and Beckett, coupled with the vibrant storytelling, creates an engaging experience for audiobook enthusiasts. This narration style, complementing the charming overall narrative, enhances the listener’s journey and contributes to a wonderful experience.

I received a DRC from the publisher but the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.

This was a cute story, but there were some red flags. Let's start with the things I liked.

Presley and Beckett both had really good character development. They both felt very real (if a little too naturally gorgeous), and I loved the way that they interacted with each other and with those around them. The lodge's local community was absolutely darling, and now I want to go to Michigan even more. The story was a fun, easy-to-read romcom, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Now for the red flags. So Presley breaks up with her boyfriend, then the next day, she goes on a vacation by herself that she had planned for both of them to a lodge. At the lodge, she meets Beckett, and there is immediately intense attraction on both ends. On day two of the trip, through a social media mishap, the whole world thinks they're dating, and so they give into the attraction and go with it (even though she's a guest). They skip all of the early dating, get-to-know-you pieces, and basically start living together and acting like they've been dating forever. While their relationship is really cute, they've known each other for less than a week at this point. Then at the end, she quits her job, and moves to the island to be with him and start her own business. In real life, there would be red flags all over this this relationship timeline.

Overall, this story had a lot of potential, but I feel like it would have been better as a slow burn instead of jumping in so deeply.

I have enjoyed each of Sophie Sullivan’s books that I have read! I was so excited when I got an early copy of this one because it’s her first outside of the Jansen Brothers’ series and I adore that series! I really enjoyed this small town vacation type read. While it was not your typical beach read, and more about finding yourself and helping to save the lodge, there were vacation aspects and trying things out of your comfort zone that brought the characters to life while reading. I loved reading about the lodge and how special this town was to the people who lived there, and how easily Presley seemed to fit in when she arrived. This book was so cute and fluffy and had me swooning over the Hot Mountain Man himself. I love books like this that allow you to escape but also have some really important stories behind them - this one really shows how not settling and finding yourself can lead to a brighter and happier future, and I think that’s so important for readers everywhere. The love story was so moving and I’m so happy I cozied up with this book this weekend. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a romance book that will make your heart happy and quiet fluffy romance that will make you laugh and smile!

Simply put, this was a cute, low angst, and easy-to-read romance read! Takes place on a cute vacation-type island, where Presley meets Beckett. They fall quick and hard, which admittedly, I struggle with. Hard to believe that two people fall in love in 7 days time, but it's not hard to suspend your disbelief there. Despite that, this was just really sweet.

✔️ Opposites Attract
✔️ Love on Vacation

Love, Naturally is a sweet romance, light on angst, and feels like cotton candy. The fish out of water city girl trope worked fine here though for me, this book leaned a little cheesy. I think it wasn't helped that it didn't feel like the stakes were really high for either of the main characters so I personally wasn't very invested in their relationship. I usually prefer a little more tension and more spice in my reads (the kissing scenes fell flat for me too).

The narration didn't work for me either, unfortunately, as I found the pace slow and the voice acting clunky, particularly with the little kid character.

It warmed my heart. Such a sweet wonderful story. It reminded me a bit of the story famous for a living. But in a bit of a different take since the main character wasn’t all about being famous.

The characters are adorable and so sweet together! I also loved the found family aspect ❤️

Thank you NetGalley, Sophie Sullivan and Macmillan Audio for the arc

*Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for this ARC of Love, Naturally*

This was a very cute romance novel. I really enjoyed listening to it and hearing the story of Presley and Beckett. I could recommend this to anyone who wants a light-hearted read. I could imagine this as a a great book to read at a mountain lodge or cabin for girl’s weekend.

This was my first Sophie Sullivan book. I listened to this on audio and liked the feel-good romance, although it didn't drag me in and beg to be read/listened to. As an advid romance reader, I thought the story wasn't super believable with the timeline of events and how they played out. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the "fall hard and fast" trope. If you are, you'll love this one. 3.5 stars

Love, Naturally is a cute read, great for small town, romcom lovers!

The narrator Julie Rogers really captured Presley's POV well and did a great job with all of the different characters. I think Love, Naturally could have benefitted from another narrator for Beckett's POV. I found that the third-person writing paired with alternating POVs was challenging to follow on audio.

The quirky cast of vacationers was a perfect pairing with the lodge/B&B setting. I loved the relationship between Beckett and his niece Ollie. Sometimes precocious children in romances can be too much, but I think it worked in this one.

There was a heavy focus on plot and world building that overshadowed some of the relationship building. I felt like something was missing from the relationship between Beckett and Presley. For the insta-love premise, the burn was slow. I liked them separately and could feel the initial attraction each MC had to the other, but found that when the burn finally hit with that first kiss I couldn't picture it. But then, just when I started believing them as a couple that third act conflict hit (why didn't he just show up?!).

Thank you to NetGalley, Macmillan Audio and Sophie Sullivan for an advance copy. These are my honest thoughts.

This is a fun, entertaining, uplifting, good read. Beckett and Presley are interesting, entertaining, intriguing, captivating, relatable, fun characters. I fell in love with these characters from the minute they stepped on-page. Their interactions are fun to read. I also loved the family aspect of the story and small town community. All of these parts make the whole better. The various secondary characters are quirky in different ways and added to the fabric of the story. The book is easy to read and get into.

I enjoyed the audio version of this book and the narrator.

Julie Rogers is a great narrator and really brought this book to life! I love Sophie Sullivan and this was a great addition to all her books. Opposites attract is perfect for these two characters and I loved how the story unfolded.

I fairly enjoyed this, but it has one of my biggest book peeves (we’ve known each a week but we’re in love). I enjoyed the audiobook narrator and the setting was cute.

I thought this was such a cute book! I am a big fan of Sophie Sullivan, and I always get so excited when I see she has a new book out. I felt like this was such an easy going and simple romance book. I didn’t feel like anything crazy really happened in this book, but I enjoyed it regardless.

I loved the premise and the setting in this book. It took place in what sounded like the cutest little on the beach. It involved hiking, fishing, and all things outdoors. It sounded like the perfect place to go for a summer vacation. The third person POV did throw me off a few times during the book, but overall, it was still enjoyable. If you’re a fan of closed door romance and an outdoor setting, I recommend checking this book out!

Thank you Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Net Galley for letting me read more books!
First off let me say, that I desperately wanted to love this book. Opposite's attract, city girl and outdoorsy man meet and fall in love! But, honestly, I did not love this book as I had hoped.
The romance was INSTA-love, and I mean INSTA. After the first meeting, they are obsessed with each other. They spend 10 days total together and that is enough for Presley, our FMC, to leave her life in the "big city" and move in with Beckett to his small town apartment, because he is her forever, even though Presley hates all the outdoorsy things she tries, hiking, biking, fishing, while these are Beckett's whole life. These two are heading for divorce for sure. I found the story was repetitive, the plot was slow and often, missing, and the book overall was way too long. There wasn't even any spice (but that is ok, because there also wasn't much chemistry)! Wasn't for me, sorry to say.
