This audiobook was so much fun to listen to! The story caught my attention from the very beginning, and all of the characters were all unique and fun to get to know as the story progressed. The representation in this book was amazing to see, the diversity was included in many different aspects of the book, both adding to the plot and just being a part of who the characters are. This is the second book I have read by this author and I definitly look forward to reading more by them!

While at points, I found the conflict a bit prolonged and the miscommunication to be bothersome, I enjoyed Emily's character quite a bit. If you are a long-time reader of Regency & victorian historical romances, I think some of the trends in new series can be hard to become accustomed to, but this was a fun ride and I really enjoyed the large cast of side characters
