Captivation story filled with rich emotions!

I was so exited to read Kathryn Le Veque’s ‘Highland Born’ book one of her new Highlander Medieval Romance series ‘Lucifer’s Legion’. Marvelous introduction of the dun Tarh family! This talented writer chooses words and structures sentences to keep her readers fascinated and captivated until the very end. Her writing style is unique, and her words flow on the pages. If you love medieval romance filled with passion and rich emotions, then then you’ll love ‘Highland Born’! You can feel the beautiful chemistry among the two main families.

Aurelius dun Tarh, a Highlander and Valery de Leybourne, an English lady, were meant for each other. Aurelius and Valery are betrothed to each other by their fathers! This spirited lady is shocked about this situation however when she meets her future husband, she plays a bad trick on him, but he instead of getting angry at her, laughs at the situation. Subsequently, love and passion will consume them, and we will witness a series of events that will bring them closer together.

We also follow the journey of their respective families and learn about their loves and secrets through their generations. Be prepared to shed a tear or two at the end of this wonderful and emotional story. Some moments are so touching that you won't regret reading about it! You will not be disappointed!
Enemies to lovers, family secrets, redemption and true love are the themes of this stunning new series.

My, my... what a wonderful story of the various meanings of true love. This author did such an excellent job at taking me, the reader, on a captivating journey to witness an intertwined story of love. All this, while thoroughly maintaining my interest through humor, action, passion and secrecy.

Here we have Aurelius Dun Tarh and Valery de Leybourne story to witness. He is the eldest son of Lucifer (Lares Dun Tarh) a fierce Scottish Highlander. Both Highlander born, but English knight trained.

At the end of the Battle of Crecy, Aurelius is informed a marriage has been arranged for him by the Earl of Wolingham, a great English warlord and his own father. No one has really seen the Earl's daughter. We witness their delightful first encounter with one another. She is quite the spitfire.

This author excelled in all aspects of intertwining various stories into one journey that will touch on various emotions of the reader. Great story! I would highly recommend! I hope this is just the beginning of Lucifer's Highland Legion.
