I am a huge fan of this author. When I saw Undercover Colored Conspiracy up for review on NetGalley, I jumped on it. This book starts out with so much action and suspense and it continues throughout the whole book. Thalia Renner and Phillip Campbell pose as a married couple at a mountain resort. They are military investigators and are trying to uncover an illegal adoption ring. They soon realize that they are targets and need to rely on each other to make it out alive.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to read a copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

A very good, clean, thriller romance. The characters are wonderful and their goal is perfect. This will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first chapter.

Thalia and Philip are military investigators posing as married couple looking into a adoption agency that seems a bit of questionable. The longer they stay the more it seems like something bigger may be going on when if you attempts have been made towards Thalia leaving them wondering if their cover has been blown.

This is a pretty good book I enjoyed it. I like the little romance I was going on between the two characters and how it remained clean so if you like a clean romance you'll like this one. There is a bit of suspense and mystery going on when it comes to wondering who that person and when they will strike again. There was plenty to keep me interested. Overall pretty good book I enjoyed it.

This is my first Jodie Bailey book and I enjoyed it . It's centered around an adoption agency and follows two military investigators that are undercover as a married couple Thalia and Phillip. It's fast paced ,thrilling ,eye opening and of course there is a dash of romance. It is well written and it does start by dragging you unto the story which I enjoyed.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

I loved the storyline of this book however the connection between the two main characters in the beginning was just off to me. Also, it seemed to end so abruptly and I felt part of the story was left unresolved.

Thal and Phillip were likable characters and deep undercover but unexpected things are happening which seem unrelated to their case. As they try to solve the case they must watch their back and weed out who is trustworthy and who is not.

Thalia and Phillip are working together to infiltrate a suspected baby kidnapping ring. Will they be able to shut the organization down without finding more mysteries that needs to be solved? Thank you Harlequin and NetGalley for allowing me to read a wonderful book by an amazing author. This may have bene my first boo but definitely not my last by Jodi. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Undercover Colorado Conspiracy by Jodie Bailey starts off with a bang, but then the pace slows down for a while. I liked the conspiracy in the story. There was a twist or two along the way. The characters were likeable. The Christian element was present. The main theme was letting go and letting God take control. Undercover Colorado Conspiracy had a good ending.

Thalia and Phillip are a strong and successful undercover team with several investigations in their history. Something is really off with this current mission, but Thalia is determined to see it through. She has personal history and feelings that make it important for her. Both of them are dealing with issues from their separate pasts that seem to be weakening them and their teamwork.
I received an advanced reader's copy of this book from Harlequin through NetGalley. This is my own opinion about it. It is a five-star read for me. I liked the characters and the challenges they deal with as they work this emotional case.

Thalia Renner and Phillip Campbell are deep undercover at a Colorado resort posing as a married couple looking to adopt a child. They are investigating an adoption scandal. They realize that uncover operations may always be dangerous, but they are not quite prepared for the danger that awaits them. They cannot trust anyone except each other because they do not how deep this scandal goes. They are also both fighting mutual attraction for one another as they know this would put them in further danger if they act upon their feelings for one another. They need to be clearheaded. This is harder than it sounds for this couple.

The mystery was very interesting and actually quite complex. Both Thalia and Phillip have secrets in their past that they have not shared with one another. Their pasts have molded them into the people they are today. It seems the past may have come back to haunt them at one point. Danger seems to lurk around every corner at this snowy resort.

The action got a little heated at the end of the story with several twists that were shocking. For mystery lovers who prefer a clean read with a faith thread, this one will be perfect for them. Intrigue, suspense and twisty mystery are just a few ways I would describe this plotline.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Undercover Colorado Conspiracy is the first story I’ve read by Jodie Bailey. Although I’ve read quite a few Love Inspired novels, this was the best one. Thalia and Phillip have a role reversal going on. She’s the tough girl and he’s a guy in touch with his feelings. That aspect provided a unique experience. It kept me flipping pages.

By the end, I wasn’t able to tell whodunnit. That’s unusual for me. The author note about parents enduring unimaginable trauma was insightful. I also like the verse from Isaiah 43:1. That verse perfectly applies to those like Thalia. The youth who’ve been placed in foster care.

This novel is great for fans of: action, romantic suspense, Christian suspense, whodunnit, cop procedural, military drama, fake relationships, fake marriage, love stories.

UNDERCOVER COLORADO CONSPIRACY BY JODIE BAILEY
An undercover mission
turns into a fight for survival
To expose a crooked adoption agency, military investigators Thalia Renner and Phillip Campbell pose as a married couple at a mountain resort. But when they become the target of unknown enemies and deadly assaults, they wonder if their cover has been blown. As they investigate, they learn the truth is far more sinister…and the consequences could cost them their lives.
This is Thalia Renner and Phillip Campbell's story.
There was no way her cover had been blown this quickly.
Army Special Agent Thalia Renner pushed herself faster down the wooded trail of the high-end ski resort where she and her partner were undercover investigating a possible crime ring. The thin layer of snow that had drifted through the tree branches crunching under her running shoes. She’d been blindsided by a man wearing a mask. He’d stepped out of the early-morning shadows and landed a blow before she could react.
The kick to his solar plexus ought to slow him down.
Army Special Agent Phillip Campbell tugged a gray sweater over his black T-shirt and wiped the condensation from the bathroom mirror. Until this mission was over, these would be the few moments of peace he got every day. While his partner went on a morning run, he squeezed in a shower before she trashed the bathroom. Since he was bunking on the couch in the living room of their suite and Thalia had taken the bedroom, the alone time he needed to reset and recharge was scarce.
No one had ever accused him of being an extrovert. This mission severely challenged every iota of people-person inside him.
I recommend this book.
UNDERCOVER COLORADO CONSPIRACY BY JODIE BAILEY is a wonderful well written 5 star book.
I am looking forward to reading more books by JODIE BAILEY.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

My description …
The title tells the potential reader so much. It’s a conspiracy. It takes place in Colorado. And … whoever is investigating is undercover. The man and woman undercover are posing as a military man and his wife. They are, in fact, Army Military Investigators. This is not their first mission together. They are very good at what they do. Is this adoption agency legit or crooked as a dog’s hind leg which is what is suspected? And has their undercover which took months to set up already been blown? Someone or is it more than one person wants them dead?

My review …
Thalia Renner and Phillip Campbell have some hidden “baggage” that they haven’t shared. The security officer at Stardust Adoption is suspicious of them from the first meeting. Is he a good guy or a bad guy? They can’t quit. There’s no “get out of jail free” card for this mission. What about the couple that runs Stardust Adoption? Who are they?

This one starts on page one which pulls you into the book immediately. And other than the above paragraph, I’m giving you nothing else except this is a Christian-based story. It is not preachy. Phillip trusts God and you will have to read the story to learn why Thalia doesn’t. But they are a good team.

This is my first book by author Jodie Bailey and if this is any example of her writing, I’ll be reading more. Undercover Colorado Conspiracy is another book I found hard to put down before doing some hausfrau thing. But I loved her ending to “Dear Reader” at the end of the book. “Please take this away from this book…no matter who you are, where you are, or what you’ve been through, God knows your name. He loves you.” I know it is hard to believe when you feel that God has left you, but God did not leave. You left God. He is just waiting for you to open your heart.

Thalia and Phillip are military investigators. They go undercover to investigate an adoption agency they think is defrauding people. While investigating someone tries to kill them several times. They wonder if more is going on besides the adoption ring.

I enjoyed the mystery of this book. Thalia and Phillip have worked together on many cases and can almost read each others minds. The problem with that is now they are starting to have feelings for each other. In spots there seemed to be too much internal dialogue with themselves. I found myself skimming some of that. It was written well enough that I wasn't able to determine who the bad guy was.

I was given this book by Love Inspired Suspense via NetGalley for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.

This book was well written, it hooked me from the beginning, and it kept me guessing the entire book.
I loved these characters, they felt real and relatable. They were the kind of people I'd like to know in real life.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

Undercover Baby Rescue is a fast-paced, exciting story. This was a great second chance romantic suspense involving Justin and Violet. Their back story, along with working undercover to break up a baby selling ring, is a real page turner.

I don't believe I have read any of this author's other books. I think I will pick up one or two. I was given this book to read as an arc and I appreciate getting the opportunity. This isn't listed as part of a series but the book mentions some characters from other books by this author with the same investigative team. The book opens with a bang and there are several twists as the story continues. I like the Love Inspired Suspense series of books. I'm glad they continue to be written. Some are better than others. This is one of the better stories. Fake marriage is one of my favorite romantic story tropes. This one is done well.
