Undercover Colorado Conspiracy is a very well written romantic suspense. The plot is an edge of your seat page turner. I throughly enjoyed this book.
New author to me
I’ve never read anything by this author in the past, but will look for more in the future.
This was a solid undercover conspiracy novel, some romantic feelings without action, Christian themes. Good mystery, likeable characters.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book but my opinions are my own.
I enjoyed this “new to me” author’s book. Suspenseful and full of action, the storyline drew me in from page one. I recommend this book if you are wanting an enthralling book, this one is for you. This book is scheduled to be released February 20, 2024 and is part of the Love Inspired Suspense series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher. All words are my own.
This is my first book by this author and I was enthralled in the undercover workplace fake relationship romance and mystery. I totally did not guess what was going on at all. Which is awesome! I’d love to read more by this author. Plenty of character development and danger.
I received a copy of this book.
Great Story and great characters...
Full of action and plot twists.
Looking forward to reading more books by this author.
This book was so sweet! It was a perfect blend of a love story, hard hearts melting, and danger an intrigue. It had me guessing up until the last chapter of the book and caught up in the emotions of the characters. I received a copy of this book for free from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is a Christian romantic suspense novel. The main characters were likable and capable, and they reacted realistically to events. The suspense came from frequent attacks on Thalia and Phillip, and they're not sure who's behind them. Thalia was adopted when a child, so she's determined to endure despite the attacks and stop any crooked business. However, her unknown origins have left her feeling unanchored despite having good adoptive parents. She's determined to not need help, but her undercover role demands that she accept it. She learns to accept help (and love) and find security in her identity in Christ.
Phillip was stalked by a popular girl in his youth, but no one took his concerns seriously until she turned violent. The current attacks look at lot like those pulled by this stalker, but why would she track him down now? He felt like he did everything wrong, but he learned that God could still make it turn out alright. Thalia and Phillip worked well together and had a long working relationship to build their growing attraction on.
My only complaint was that the descriptions occasionally changed. Mainly, their suite was on the ground level, and they walked straight out of their suite to wander down to a trail or around the outside of the hotel. But later they needed to go up at least one floor in an elevator to get to their rooms. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I recommend this enjoyable suspense novel.
This is a Police Romantic Suspense. I enjoyed this book a lot, but I did not 100% connect to the characters. I loved the story, and I had to find out what was going on. The beginning of this book was slow to get going, but once I was pulled into the story I did not want to put this book down. The ending was so good. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
Danger - Suspense - Action! Thalia Renner and Phillip Campbell are military investigators that have each other's back and have built trust that is essential for undercover work. But undercover marriage?? In order to figure out what is happening with a crooked adoption agency, they pose as couple to find out exactly what is happening. But at a mountain resort weekend for prospective parents, things take a sinister turn and suddenly they are fighting for their lives. Who can they trust and why are they suddenly targets? I really enjoyed this new-to-me author and look forward to reading more of her work.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the publisher through NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own.
