I enjoyed this debut novel. It had some very funny moments as well as some quite heartwarming moments. While it seems like it would be lighthearted, it did also deal with heavy topics like bullying, death of a friend (in the past), guilt, depression, and alcoholism. I liked the way the book ends on a happy note though.
I really liked the first part of this book. I wish the snarky office humor/email writing from the FMC would have lasted a little longer before she got caught. It was super relatable corporate humor. We all have a Rhonda! As the story unfolded, it became a little more okay than great for me, but I enjoyed it all the way through.
This type of book is not really my cup of tea, I find awkwardness extremely uncomfortable and not entertaining as some people do. There is some sentimentality and heartwarming in the story but for me the discomfort outweighs that.
Very fun. It has that quirky vibe to it. That mid life crisis of a weird girl. I related to this book many times reading it. It's funny in most parts, that dry humor, but has some serious underlying topics.
This one took me by surprise. Such a realistic representation of life in a cubicle. The narrator was so relatable, and I loved her sense of humor. The author did a good job making her actions make sense. The romance bit was believable too, despite the situation. The author also handled the fraught family situations sensitively, showing the conflicting feelings and misunderstandings.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. I will share widely and look for more from the author.
This book was so funky and funny all at once. I thought because of the premise the characters would be flat and whiny but I got much more from them compared to others in books I’ve read. It’s simple and relatable but such an easily digestible book. There were some moments where I had to sit back and remind myself of what I was reading but overall I enjoyed it. I do wish it had more realistic moments and a more accessible ending but I’ll take it for what it was.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this novel. I highly enjoyed it and will be recommending it.
This was a fun read and a great debut! Yes, Jolene and the story were a bit more of a downer than I expected, but I thought it was relatable and worth sticking with. And I appreciated some of the romance sprinkled in!
I'm not sure how to review this book. It is described as wickedly funny and a workplace sitcom, and while there were some funny moments, there were also some very serious plotlines. It wasn't what I expected from the description, but I still enjoyed it.

I have not read this author before, but I enjoyed this story. I would read this author again. Thank you to NetGalley and Publisher.
Being an introvert myself, I found this main character to be entirely relatable. It's easy to not want to socialize with people you work with every day, and when it feels like people are against you, it's even easier to go against them too. Sometimes I would cringe at things Jolene would say or do, but as uncomfortable as I felt I knew her intentions were good and her mistakes were necessary - much like normal life. Great book, good characters.
Loved Loved Loved this book. Great pacing and a great awkward MC. It tackled the ugly, yet realistic sides of office/workforce culture.
I Hope This Finds You Well by Natalie Sue is an absolute gem of a book, and I LOVED it! It draws you in from page 1, and the story of Jolene keeps you reading. I Hope This Finds You Well is a story of mental health struggles, office dynamics, and personal growth. The ending is perfect and satisfying. Five star read! Thank you, NetGalley and William Morrow, for the advance digital copy of this book.
As one who works in an office environment, I enjoyed this book. The beginning starts as a comedy and several laugh out loud parts. As the story progresses, the tone changes with the back stories of the characters and finding that everyone has difficulties they are dealing with. I enjoyed the witty humor and captivating writing style of this is heartwarming and tender story.
Thank you NetGalley and William Morrow for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I Hope This Finds You Well had me hooked from the first page! The main character is an absolute gem—hilarious, heartwarming, and so relatable. The cover and title are perfect—quirky and laugh-out-loud funny, just like the story inside.
What I loved most? The absurdity of office life. The dumb rivalries and pettiness were spot-on—anyone who's been stuck in the same job for too long can relate. It’s both hilarious and a little depressing to realize just how awkward and unfortunate office culture can be. This book captures it so well, and at the same time, it gave me a little bit of sympathy for those living the 9-5 grind.
The ending was exactly what I wanted—sweet, satisfying, and a little unexpected. I was smiling the whole way through. If you're looking for a book that’ll make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings, and nod in agreement over the ridiculousness of office life, this is it. Highly recommend!
I thought I was getting into a quirky, funny, light-hearted office drama, but found myself deeply moved by the MC's social anxiety. As we learn more about each of the side characters, what they're struggling to deal with outside of work, we understand that they might be acting in self-preservation which reads as annoying behaviors to outsiders. It made me rethink my own relationships and was a good reminder to practice empathy. Not exactly what I was expecting from a book with this cover.
I Hope This Find You Well was a witty and engaging story featuring a quirky character, who was relatable to "Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine." It wasn't an easy road to forge relationships with her coworkers, in fact, Jolene had to find a back way into their hearts just like she did with mine. I could relate to the corporate setting annoyances and it made the story that much more enjoyable. This book was a "feel good" book involving office romance, relatable characters and corporate life truths.
I enjoyed I Hope This Finds You Well! I thought this was really unique with the office setting, and the concept of being able to see your coworkers inner workings and personal lives, how it might make you seem them differently. I loved that Jolene was an unreliable narrator, and she had her own issues and was figuring life out. I do think this was a little bit long for this type of novel, but overall enjoyed it a lot.
A kind-hearted and laugh-out-loud funny book exploring the misery and monotony of loneliness. The romance between the earnest and cheerful Cliff and the untrusting and cynical (but growing!) Jolene made this a very sweet read.
