I read this book a few months ago. I originally rated it 3 stars but I have to admit that Joey and Aoife's story is one that has stuck with me so I had to increase it to 4 stars. Joey has a shit life, a shit family and struggles with addiction. The only thing that keeps him going is his boss' daughter, Aoife. He doesn't want her to get tangled in his terrible life but she won't let go. A story of friendship turned to first love, bad boy and good girl, boss' daughter and everything in between. This story will rip your heart out and Chloe Walsh has a way of making you feel like these characters are your friends, your family. The Boys of Tommen are a series of books that suck you right in and stay with you for a long time. I highly recommend!

The Boys of Tommen Series INSTANTLY captivated me from book 1! I binged BINDING13 and KEEPING 13 in less than a week because I HAD to know what happened with Johnny and Shannon. Going into SAVING 6 I didn't know quite what to expect with Joey's story seeing as the only thing I knew about him were the little glimpses given in BINDING and KEEPING. Really all I knew was that he struggled with addiction, was a victim of abuse, and loved his siblings fiercely. From the ending of KEEPING 13, the foreshadowing made it clear that Joey and Aofie's story would be an emotional one.
All I can say is WOW. Chloe Walsh is a phenomenal writer! Her attention to detail and ability to draw emotion with purely her words is truly a gift. I felt frustrated and heartbroken and could not stop crying during parts of this book. Joey is such a complex character, more so than we even saw in the first two books of the series. I wanted to reach into the book to give him a hug at so many points while reading. It was an extremely vulnerable story and one that will stay with me forever. Running to grab a copy of REDEEMING 6 immediately!!!
Thank you NetGalley and BLOOM for the ARC!

**immediately purchases Redeeming 6**
I knew this book was going to hurt and I can confirm that my heart is broken all over again 😭
The third book in the Boys of Tommen series takes place before the events in Binding 13 and it’s told from Joey + Aoife’s POV.
I loved getting more from Joey in this book. Saving 6 really gave us the opportunity to know Aoife on a more personal level while also giving depth to Joey. The author really makes these characters feel like real people, with real lives, and real feelings. I love all of the Lynch children and getting to see them interact throughout this book made me happy while simultaneously heartbroken because those kids lived through absolute hell. Overall, I think Saving 6 was a great addition to the series and I am more than ready to start book #4.

Wow… I knew Joey’s book would hurt to read but I didn’t think it would hurt this much. This book was amazing, devastating, soul crushing, and depressing. Joey always does so much for everyone else and forgets about himself, so I was so glad that Aoife came along to remind him that he is important too. At times this book and Joey’s addictions were frustrating but I feel like it was done perfectly because it showed what addiction was really like and helped the readers to truly understand and feel right alongside the characters. I am so glad that this book started at the beginning of their relationship and went back in time from the first two in the series because we really needed to see their whole relationship to get a real understanding of their story and without that the relationship and story would have felt incomplete. Aoife is such a strong and determined character and I am so glad that we were able to learn more about her through this book. The ending broke me but also gave me hope. This is one of those books and stories that I was constantly thinking about while in class, scrolling on my phone, or doing literally anything besides reading. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series but I already know it’s going to hurt. If you are looking for a book/series to make you feel something, this is the one you should read.

I am obsessed with Chloe Walsh's writing and this wonderful series! This is a Slow Burn Frienemies to Lovers book. This book will break you heart and make you feel every emotion imaginable. This book has som much depth with the characters and plot and you won't be able to put it down. I can't recommend this book or series enough! Grab a coffee, Kleenex and sit back and enjoy!
Thank you NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, Bloom Books for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

The one absolutely shattered me. I cried and cried, in the best way only a good book can do. I loved everything about it.

I've read Chloe Walsh's books for years and her books always punch you right in the gut (But in a good way, I promise!)
Saving 6 is the first in a duology. If you haven't ready Binding 13, and Keeping 13 please go read those first. Saving 6 can be read as a stand alone...but I recommend you don't. You will get a lot more back ground by reading Binding 13, and keeping 13 first.
Saving 6 follows Joey and Aoife's story. It's utterly heartbreaking watching Joey go through everything. All I wanted to do was reach into the book and give him hug. He really goes through so much in this book and honestly, he did a really good job of hiding it in Binding 13, and Keeping 13. In Saving 6 you get to see just how much heartbreak Joey was going through. I would give this book 10 stars if I could!

Ahh the boys of Tommen! I am so in love with this series and was so excited to receive this copy! Prepare to be swept away by the emotional rollercoaster that is this book; this heart-wrenching tale follows the journey of Joey Lynch, a boy burdened with the responsibility of caring for his family amidst life's hardships. The complexities of Joey's life, from his struggles with addiction to his unwavering dedication to his loved ones will literally tug at your heartstrings. As Joey grapples with his demons, he finds an unexpected source of solace in Aoife Molloy, a spirited girl who refuses to let him push her away. The chemistry between Joey and Aoife is electric, drawing readers into a whirlwind of emotions as they navigate the highs and lows of their complicated friendship. Walsh expertly crafts a narrative filled with heart, humor, and raw vulnerability, keeping you hooked until the very end. 📚❤️ #Saving6 #ChloeWalsh #YA #Romance #BookReview

PAIN. 😭 That's what this book is.
Joey has my heart- I love how protective he is over his siblings. We got glimpses of his life in the first two books, but having to see his trauma and his life firsthand hurt on a whole other level. Aoife is everything and more!!! I admire her so much. They are perfect for each other.
I love how this series shows raw, realistic relationships. I hope they all get the happy ending they all deserve.

I didn't know what to expect going into Saving 6, but I didn't expect things to be to tragic. This is such a tragic story of a boy, lost in his family's drama and a girl trying to save him by loving him.
Parts of the book felt long and unnecessary, but then it came together in the end. You might ask yourself, what YA romance novel needs to be almost 600 pages? Trust the process. It will come together in the end.
This book is listed as a YA romance, but there are parts that I would not want my teenager reading. I would consider this more appropriate for NA.

Gripping. Emotional. Vulnerable. This book series blew me away. The way Walsh writes her character you just become one with them. This was heartbreaking & perfection all in one! Absolutely love this series it just gets better and better with each book

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Joey, don't get me wrong. However, "Saving 6" didn't captivate me as much as "Binding 13." Perhaps, it's because this story predates the events in the Binding and Keeping 13 series. The familiarity with Joey and Aoife's romance affected my overall enjoyment, as I felt I already knew where their relationship was heading. Nevertheless, "Saving 6" stands as a commendable addition to the Boys of Tommen series.

It took me a while to start this book mainly because I ended up not finishing keeping 13 so I was worried I would be confused, I’m upset I took this long. Joey and Aoife?? Omg this book broke me and fixed me all at once. Slow-burn, the banter HAD ME SCREAMINGG. It had some dark moments so be careful for that but seriously im so happy I read this. ALSO I NEED THIS VERSION OF THE COVER ASAP can’t wait for it to come out.

I’ve been sucked into this world and dont want to find my way out. Joey is easily my favorite character in this series. This broken boy just touches my heart in a way I didn’t know was possible. I will recommend this to anyone who will listen. The way Aoife sticks by Joey through it all just makes me so happy. We all need someone to love us even when we can’t love ourselves.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own

Another stunner from Walsh and the series that continues to break my heart and put it back together again.
Joey is so broken in this novel and i found it so easy to sympathize with him, under such immense pressure and only trying to protect his siblings. Naturally, there’s only so much you can give and I feel it deep down personally. Aoife has become such a big favorite FMC for me as well at this point.
With all the turmoil, this book definitely came off more mature compared to the others and I am grateful for that. The main characters have seriously been through so much, and heck, as a result I have too! Where do I send my therapist bill?!
This was the absolute slowest of slow burns but don’t let that chase you off. This book packs a wild punch and is easily my favorite of the series — the ending is beyond well deserved with these well round and expertly written characters.
Thank you to Bloom Books and Chloe Walsh for the earc!

I just love them. I do. I can’t explain it. I rarely, if ever, give 5 stars to multiple books in a series but this was the best thing I’ve read all year (and yes, the year just started but I just know this will be a top read, if not an all-time fave). I don’t know what to tell you- Joey is broken and under so much pressure to protect his siblings and just trying to cope with the pain he’s buckling under the best he can but the fact that he can still be so protective, present, and charming despite everything is what makes him stand out from every other jaded hero.
This first book was as close to flawless as I’m gonna get and still gives me all the feels I could ever hope for in a story. We already know what’s to come in R6 based on BK13 background crumbs but knowing their beginning was so important and I’m glad Chloe gave it to us and while there were a few scenes that could’ve been cut, I love them too much to ask for a shorter book. The spice is coming back in book 2 but so is the pure friendship, the flirtatious banter, the mutual protectiveness, the fight for each other, the self-healing after the self-destruction, and ofc the accidental pregnancy. So many complications ahead but their dynamic is so refreshing and likable that I will put myself through anything Chloe throws at them because I know they deserve to be together and they’re exactly what the other needs and deserves.

I am obsessed with this series! I did not expect to like the first book as much as I did and I loved continuing the series! The romance and setting was amazing!

Im obsessed with this series. I know its a new BookTok darling, but it is well deserved. The romance in all of boys of tommen series is top notch and I will recommend to everyone I know!

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would! This is one of my favorite book series!! I love everything about Saving 6. From the book cover to the writing style to the storyline to the characters. Oh how I love Joey and Aoife! I can’t wait for this story to continue. You don’t want to miss out on this book or the Boys of Tommen series.

These books are so long but you don’t even realize or care while reading them because you get lost in their world. I absolutely love this series and I would give this series infinity stars if I could. Everyone needs to read this series… you won’t regret it!
Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for the arc of this book.
