Christina Dodd is a master storyteller. Her latest, Every Single Secrer, is an action packed tale full of secrets, revenge, friendships, romance, and a little bit of humor.. Helen (Rowan) has been in hiding for over a decade dealing with the fallout of her parents actions. On a rainy night, a stranger shows up forcing her to meet her past head-on. She has one option, beat the demons from her past once and for all, or die trying. If she survives, she just might get her happy ending. Dodd's signature wit and strong, unique characters are fully present making this an all around excellent read.

This was my first time reading a Christina Dodd novel, so I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as structure and writing style, but I found myself easily diving into this story and thoroughly enjoying it! I mostly read murder thrillers (a little more dark perhaps?), so this was a nice break from those kinds of stories. This book was based on murder(s), but it more so was focused on revenge years after the murders occurred.

The story is about a woman whose family was killed by a mob boss. For years she lived a life of isolation and under a pseudonym to protect herself, until one day she is found by a strange man who invites her on a mission to go back to the very island, the home of the man who ruined her family and life to take revenge.

There is love, romance, drama, action and suspense. Though the story is based on a dark tale, I found the characters to be entertaining and I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next.

This book has short chapters (bonus!) and is easy to devour in a couple of days.

Thank you to the author, publisher and Net Galley for this advanced copy. I’m so glad I was able to read this one!

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
From New York Times bestselling author Christina Dodd comes a twisty emotional thriller about a woman’s perilous quest for revenge, perfect for fans of Sandra Brown, Jayne Ann Krentz, and Lisa Jewell.

Never whisper the truth. Never reveal the past.
I love this mystery/thriller and finished it in less than 24 hours because I could not put it down.
It had many layers and unexplained connections. The ending was awesome as well.
I highly recommend.

Exciting and intense romantic suspense. Great characters and delightful setting, as I am fond of lighthouses. Toss in a hot air balloon and I am even happier. Clever gadgets and other surprises kept me turning the pages. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

This is a revenge novel in which the hunter becomes the hunted.

Rowan lives comfortably in a lighthouse. When she was young her mother was murdered by a drug cartel and she is determined to seek her revenge. When a stranger arrives at her door she is drawn in. He blackmails her into going to the island where the drug cartel - and the murderer - live.

It is a dangerous place for her and she doesn't know if anyone is her ally.

Full of twists and turns this book is a keeper
