You'll get out the book what you put into the book. As a therapist there were great prompts to use with clients and help myself to recharge daily or whenever I picked up the book. The goal isn't about finishing the book, but taking a page, thinking about and applying it in everyday life.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Positive Thinking Workbook for Women is a positivity boosting self-help and self-care workbook for women to support with achieving more of a positive mindset.
The book contains prompts, empowering exercises, activities, skills, true stories to inspire, and much more. The book is easy to use and navigate ,well set out, and practical, too. I loved the affirmations and found them uplifting and motivating. The book does a good job at helping to shift your perspective and outlook on things into a more positive viewpoint, which isn't always very easy to do and I found the activities refreshing and interesting as well as reflective to do too.

This was a fun and important reflection on positivity’s impact on women’s lives.

I enjoyed reading this book but for a full nice experience, the physical book is the best option! All of us women need to think more positively every day!

I have struggled with my mental health (depression and anxiety) for almost 12 years now, and I do love a good workbook that can help me increase my non-existent confidence.

So what can you think of that'll help me with my journey...? Yet another, same-as-every-other self-help book book.

You know what really winds me up about self-help books? It's the way the authors always go too deep with their explanations of things, and always mention various scientific studies that have taken place. Honestly, no-one cares about who found what out in 1979, or who did what in university in 2012. We really don't care! We literally just want positive affirmations and quizzes and tasks to do!!

Firstly, this was not compatible with my kindle. There were obviously images included, but they spread out over 10 or so pages, making it increasingly annoying the more I had to scroll through.

Secondly, the quizzes were badly organised, and we're certainly not ebook friendly.

All of the information in the book was simply the same as every other self-help book I've read, and it was incredibly boring.

Do I recommend this book to someone else? Sure, if they've never read any other self-help book, and make sure you get the paperback rather than put it on your e-reader.

I enjoyed this workbook.

If you’re already in therapy, this is a great addition to your self care practices (hopefully) provided by your therapist.
I actually shared a few ideas with mine.

If you’re not in therapy, I think this is a beneficial start.

I recommend this!

Book Review: Positive Thinking Workbook for Women by Aubree Henderson

Rating: 4 Stars

As someone who is always on the lookout for ways to enhance my self-care routine, I stumbled upon Aubree Henderson's Positive Thinking Workbook for Women during Mental Health Awareness Month, and I must say, it was a pleasant surprise. This workbook is not your average self-help book—it's a practical and user-friendly guide that truly speaks to the heart.

The author emphasizes the importance of cultivating positivity and embracing possibility in our lives. With insightful prompts and affirmations tailored for women, the workbook encourages readers to shift their perspectives, build confidence, and navigate life's challenges with resilience. What sets this workbook apart is its empowering exercises that allow you to put positivity into action. From writing a love letter to your body to celebrating small victories daily, each activity is designed to foster self-awareness and personal growth.

One aspect that truly resonated with me was how the workbook is structured. It's well laid out, making it easy to navigate, and provides ample space for reflection and writing. Whether you're new to your self-care journey or looking to strengthen your self-love and boundary-setting skills, this workbook serves as a valuable resource.

Moreover, Positive Thinking Workbook for Women doesn't just offer theoretical advice—it shares real stories of women who have grappled with self-doubt and successfully transformed their mindsets. These narratives serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration, reminding readers that they are not alone in their struggles.

In conclusion, if you're seeking a roadmap to boost your self-esteem, set boundaries, and foster a positive outlook on life, Aubree Henderson's workbook is a must-have companion. I found it to be a perfect fit for those wanting to embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal empowerment. Cheers to positivity and endless possibilities!

I immediately requested this when I saw it - as a therapist who primarily works with women this will be a useful tool for my clients outside of the therapy office!

As someone who has been in therapy since I was 15, this brought nothing new to the table.
The first 50ish pages gave me "you're not depressed, you just need to drink more water" vibes, and I hated it. (It reminded me of my first therapist ever... *war flashbacks* horrible)
The rest/actual workbook was okay. It's things you'd normally do in therapy (with a good therapist I might say) so I can see how it can help someone who doesn't have access or don't want to do therapy or someone who just started the journey of self care.
So, as much as I didn't work for me, I feel like this might help others.

Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I think how useful you find this workbook will vary depending on how familiar you are with the topic. The first 50 pages were redundant for me as they’re lessons I have learned through therapy, research, and ongoing practice. However, it can definitely be nice for an external source to affirm those truths. I approached this workbook in search of novel ways to approach self care.

the exercises/sections that spoke to me:
- love letter to my body
- inherited self perception worksheet
- imagining what’s possible
- overcoming your objections
- the visual goal roadmap
- joyful movement checklist (because checklists are so cute!)
- gratitude inventory
- ways i can express my gratitude

If you are new to your self care journey and you aren’t familiar with gratitude or you struggle with self love and boundary setting this will be an incredible resource for you. It is broken down simply and is easy to navigate.

If you are deeper in your journey, there are still quite a few tidbits that can help you form new habits around your practice.

The Positive Thinking Workbook for Women is a great place for you to begin your journey of positive self awareness and growth. It begins with some theory and case studies to help us understand the facets of what makes us the way that we are. The remainder of the book is filled with exercises and items to help us reflect and grow such as:
-journaling opportunities
-affirmations
-daily reflections
-questionnaires
-movement
-mindfulness
-reflections on the source of our perceptions of our self,
-setting goals, etc.

Thank you Net Galley, Aubree Henderson and Callisto Publishing for the opportunity to preview and work through this workbook. The opinions shared are my own.

This is one of those books that only “work” if you use it like an instructions manual. Pleasant to read and a source of hope for the future.

Positive Thinking Workbook was a great resource! I loved the various exercises and easy to apply advice.

This was fine - I think the concepts covered were insightful. However, this felt less like a workbook and more like a self help book with a few prompts. I liked it, but it wasn't life changing.

I am grateful to NetGalley and Callisto Publishing for an ARC.

🌸 A pretty way to develop positive thoughts!

I experienced a bit of information overload with this book. Although quite aesthetically pleasing, I found the contents of the book to be overwhelming in the way they were displayed. Most pages were full of lengthy paragraphs so the interactive workbook pages were the parts I most looked forward to!

Regardless, once digested, the information proved to be quite beneficial for my internal dialogue. I enjoyed the sporadic stories of other peoples’ experiences.

I could see this workbook being quite beneficial for its readers!

While to break it all down. Lots of useful information but also overwhelming.
