I have loved the Women’s Murder Club series since its inception and still envision Lindsay as portrayed by Angie Harmon! However, this book was a bit too formulaic in attempting to give each Club member an equal amount of page time. Hopefully, future books will concentrate more on one central Club member and spin-related stories from that hub, making for a more interesting and well-developed story. I received an ARC from NetGalley, and the opinions expressed are my own.

This was a hard read for me and I struggled to get through it. The plot was there but the first person POV for the main character and third person POV for the other characters really threw me off. Why not just make named chapters first each person?
And what was with the inclusion of Joe (Lindsay’s husband) for the few chapters but then as soon as his “case” is over, that’s all we get?
Also, once everything was sorted out for Yuki’s case, didn’t hear from her again. Same thing with Claire.

Oh. My. Gosh! This was my very first James Patterson book, and just holy crap I could not stop reading! It was that compelling!

Lindsay Boxer, SFPD sergeant, and Claire Washburn, medical examiner, meet Yuki Castellano, assistant DA, and Cindy Thomas, crime writer, at an upscale restaurant to celebrate Claire’s birthday. The happy meeting of the Women’s Murder Club is disturbed by a commotion caused by an attack on a young woman who appears to go by three different names. What is her story? What is the story of the man who seemingly attacked her?

It is nice to return to the world of the Women’s Murder Club (Lindsay, Claire, Yuki, and Cindy). In addition to the original plot line, there are two other story lines. Each is well constructed and satisfying to read. I’ve listened to audio versions of several of the books in this series, so I hear the voices of each of the main characters while reading the dialogue. What fun! I look forward to reading the next book in the series. Thank you, Little Brown and Company and NetGalley, for the chance to read and review an advance reader copy.

This novel, once again, brings the 4 friends of “The Women’s Murder Club” together for an interesting and educational tale of murder, rape, cyber crimes and disassociative identity disorder (multiple personalities.) It is always fascinating to read about people we know well and their families and interactions. I definitely look forward to the next chapter in the lives of these women and their families.
I thank NetGalley and Hachette Book Group for the opportunity to read and review this book prior to publication.

I have been reading The Women’s Murder Club series since day one and this one might be one of my favorites. I found each of the three storylines to be fun, fast paced, and satisfyingly resolved.

I never miss a Women’s Murder Club novel and this one did not disappoint. I love how in the midst of murder, the women continue to evolve. It will be interesting to see how Joe going back to work full time will affect his relationship with Lindsey as in the past, it wasn’t great. Thank you to NetGalley for this advanced copy. I truly enjoyed it.

The adventures of the Women’s Murder Club were page turning yet again! I could’ve done without Joe’s side piece, but overall, I’m excited to see where the series goes next! (Please don’t end this)

I received a complimentary Kindle e-book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own. Thank you to James Patterson & Maxine Paetr; Little, Brown and Company, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Okay, this is the 24th novel/novella 3rd book in the Women's Murder Club. I really enjoyed the books at the beginning of the series; however, the books have gotten somewhat tired as the series has progressed.

The premise is great - four female friends who work together: a homicide cop, coroner, prosecutor, and newspaper reporter. This series could have been SO much more. It is a fast read!

I would suggest reading the TWENTY-FOUR other books first to get the backstory and understand the characters better.

Anytime the women's murder group gets together the reader will be taken on a wild ride. Each character plays an essential role in the story coming together no matter how grisly the crimes at the heart are smart women who value their friendships and rely on that to get them through the horrors they see daily. At the start of each book in the series you reconnect with old friends and then the group embarks on solving the current crimes. Another great read in a terrific series.

I enjoyed this installment of the Women’s Murder Club. This was one of the busier installments
with some interesting twists. We also finally get a wedding that feels long overdue.
While I enjoyed the story, I remain confused that the victim of a violent crime is being
referred to as “plaintiff,” as this is incorrect. The woman who is the focus of the book
is the victim and not the Plaintiff. This type of mischaracterisati0n is rare in novels.
The crime that took place is also one that would require far more time and energy
in real life, and while this is fiction, I would not want anyone to misunderstand
the degree of artistic leeway used in this story.
Each of the stories had a lot of artistic leeway, which makes for fun fiction, which is
what draws us back time after time. However, there are some scientific/medical/
etc components that are almost a bit too far beyond even fiction.
As a character driven book, it’s a hit, as I enjoy the characters, (even the dog)
and I look forward to the new adventures of the group next time.
My thanks to Little Brown and Company via Net Galley for the download copy]
of this book for review purposes.

I Enjoyed this book. I love reading books by James Patterson because I never know what to expect reading them. I loved how this one talked about more than one case. The ending was really good. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series so much!! I don’t usually keep up with series and this one I need to read them all.
I really enjoyed this one. Love following the 4 women of the murder club. Lindsay, Yuki, Claire and Cindy are all powerful characters and getting to know them through this series has been a ride.
My only gripe with this one is, we followed Lindsay’s husband Joe on an adventure of his own. I found myself not interested in his perspective. It’s the women’s murder club,, just keep it about the women.

The Women's Murder Club is meeting for lunch at one of San Francisco's finest restaurants to celebrate a wedding and a birthday. Before they can raise their glasses for a toast, aloud scream interrupts them. Yuki argues the toughest case of her career and Lindsey searches for a killer amidst high society. I have read all of the Women's Murder Club books and this was not my favorite. I still enjoyed reading it and I appreciate @Net Galley for letting me read the ARC.

Another installment of the women's murder club. This one was a bit draggy and it was pretty easy to figure out the villain in the story. That being said, this series is an easy, fun read.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for allowing me to read this ARC.

I once again enjoyed being immersed in the world of Sergeant Boxer and the Women’s Murder Club. As usual this book was a quick read and always too short. Over before you know it. I really liked the three different storylines. James Patterson nails every book he writes and this one is no different. 5 stars

up to their necks in the latest case. And the ending was incredible. Have reread it 3x

Another hit in this series. Three storylines were alternated throughout the book. Each storyline filled with much mystery and suspense. This is a book which I would recommend to all.
