Such a great way to end this trilogy!

The first chapters are a little bit slow but they help you to build up all the feelings for what's coming next. By the middle of the book I was already screaming because of all the things poor Eva is going through... but everything is worth for that ending.

I know this is the end of a trilogy... but, if there are more books set in Destia or Fantis I would totally read them. If Eva and her friends are part of it... that would be nice too.

I enjoyed this. It was a dose of action with a touch of romance that moved the story along. It was a book I decidedly needed to read the prior books that came first but once immersed in the world I found myself fully able to appreciate the world the author created. The novel took on common themes like good and evil but created its own compelling take. I did find myself being able to be immersed in the world building which often times can be difficult for me. I plan to check out more from this author.

The author went above and beyond with this book. She started with an air of intrigue, and then added a touch of magic, rounding it out with danger, excitement, and heat, keeping me glued to the edge of my seat until the last page. As always her characters are engaging and I felt drawn to their plight. This story was on the darker edge of romance, but it was oh so good. This was a fantastic story and I can’t wait to see what she thinks up next.

While I enjoyed this series, the last book felt kinda weak to me. I still found it enjoyable, but mostly because I was already interested in the plot

I expected to see more growth for the characters, especially considering how powerful the foe was. There are some changes, but all in all, it would have make more sense for them to prepare a bit more and evolve.
The atmosphere in itself is okay, I could easily picture the setting and find myself immersed in the book for most parts. However, the pacing was not ideal for me, and there were some parts where I felt kinda bored.
The ending is quite satisfying, but it came a little to fast and felt kinda easy to get to that point
