This was a a sweet book. This was my first book in the series and I did not know what to expect. I love the cover and synopsis but some time it could be missleading. But was sweet as pie. Love it

I received a NetGalley ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Intrigued by another upcoming book by Pepper Basham, I decided to give this one a try. Initially, I was skeptical about the fictional Scottish island, Hallmark vibes, and the Christian romance angle. As a Christian, I often find these books too evangelical for my taste. However, this story hooked me from the start. The characters communicated openly, making their romance believable, and the Scottish setting felt authentic, not stereotypical. I appreciated the meta moments where they poked fun at Hallmark movies. Most importantly, the characters' faith was subtle yet strong, enhancing the story without overpowering it. I’m now excited to read the rest of the series!

4.5 STARS!

Simply charming!

It has been awhile since I have read a romance book that I enjoyed. Most seem too over the top or "cheesy". While the ingredients of a good rom com do include cheese, Loyally, Luke is sprinkled in with just the right amount. Swoon worthy and laugh out loud!

This was the first of the series that I have read and I loved Luke and Ellie. They both seemed so down to earth and relatable- even for a knight in shining flannel and a real life princess! Luke's inner monologue was hands down the best part! Watching him get frustrated with how his circumstances where looking just like a hallmark movie was a riot. The bells! The book also highlighted serving others and I loved any moments that Luke had with the children form the orphanage. This book is full of heart and I can't wait to read the others in the series!

Read if you love:
- great chemistry
- hilarious writing
- wonderful supporting cast
- stories of redemption
- flannel
- main characters who are real and kind hearted
- heart of service
- all the classic movie references!

Thank you NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for this wonderful arc!!

This was a really sweet novel. I’ve read the second one in this series and really enjoyed the perspective of Luke and his story of falling for a princess.

I think this was my favorite of the series. Luke always had a great sense of humor during each of the books and I’m so glad we got to get his story. The down home personality of Luke was great and he didn’t change even though he was among royalty. It was a fun, enjoyable read! I received a copy of the book from the publisher. It took me a little while to get into this book, but I'm glad I continued with it because the second half had me turning pages so fast!

This is the final installment in a trilogy that follows siblings as they fall in love with locals from the island of Skymar. Our main character is Luke, a gruff carpenter with a heart of gold. He certainly isn't looking for love when he heads to Skymar to complete some renovation projects before his sister's big wedding, but when he finds himself working alongside a Star Wars quoting, hammer weilding princess (well, he doesn't know that part yet), what's a man to do?

I really enjoyed seeing how Luke and Ellie grapple with trying to make a relationship work despite their very different backgrounds. There were some really sweet, charming moments and I definitely loved all of the royal content.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for my review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is a real winner and deserves 6 stars! I loved it! Luke is in visiting Skymar to help with some construction work when he meets Ellie, who is Skymar Princesss Ellie, whom the locals "neglect" to mention! How the story unfolds is delightful! Leave it to this author to devise such a wonderful tale with such imaginative scenes! It especially touched me how Luke and Ellie's practical and creative work was to give assistance to an orphanage. This was the third book in a series, but it can be easily read and appreciated without having read the others first. I am so thankful that I did not miss out on this book! Fans of the author and Christian fiction will not want to miss out on this engaging book!
I very much appreciate reading this advanced reader copy from the editors, and the views expressed are my own honest opinion.

This is probably my favorite of the series. There is just something so genuine about Luke, even in his grumpiness in his conversations with his sisters. It's easy to hear Luke's heart even in the midst of difficult situations. I love the loyalty to family throughout this entire series. It's fun to hear the different personalities of the siblings and the things that are most important to them.

I so enjoy the witty banter, dialogue and quick wit between the characters. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times. I also enjoyed the dialogue between Ellie & her confidant, Maeve. I enjoyed Maeve as a side character too. Her sarcasm was on point. Especially the narrator for her part on the audio. The audio was fantastic! All of the narrators are so talented! This book had the least amount of mixed media, but still very easy to read and to get drawn into the storyline. You almost can't help yourself.

There aren't as many characters in this one for me to keep straight, so I was grateful for that part. It is very reminiscent of Princess Diaries 2 - I kept having visions in my head of that as I was listening. There are nods to assorted movies and books which made it very relatable as well.

"Embrace who God made you to be." Luke to Ellie. I love this quote. It's a good reminder to all of us.

Pepper Basham is definitely a favorite author of mine! I received a complimentary copy from Thomas Nelson and Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I loved the faith element and the interactions with characters from earlier in the series. I'm so glad to see more wholesome romance in the bookish world! This would be a great story for a new adult. The storyline of overcoming past choices is an excellent lesson for young adults/new adults just starting to figure things out.

Loyally Luke was a great book! The family communication continues in this book, however, in a bit of a different way. I loved Penelope’s forever romantic perspective throughout! 🥰 So many sweet moments in this book! Reading as Luke turned all mushy was so fun!

A fun, witty, charming romance in a setting I wish I could visit. Basham has once again delivered a read I'll come back to more than once!

I haven’t read the previous books in this series (although I will hunt them up now!) but it didn’t stop me from LOVING this story 😍✨

Luke was a sweetheart. An absolute sweetheart! He’d probably growl at me for saying that, but it’s true. And Ellie was just wonderful 🥰 They are the perfect couple, and I thought that from the minute of their unfortunate meeting 😂

There were so many fun tropes mixed in here! I think there is honestly something for everyone! And the texts and emails dispersed throughout was so entertaining to read 😄

*Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the advance copy of this book. This review are my own thoughts and opinions.

I wanted to like this book, I really did. The premise sounded so cute. The cover was adorable. I love a little camp in my books and appreciated how much the characters even made fun of the "Hallmark"-ness of the book with the meet cute, etc.

But I could not get into it. I DNF at 20%. I did not feel connected to the setting, the characters, or the story. Maybe it was a result of not mood reading at the right time or perhaps because I did not read the first two in the series prior to this one, but nothing pulled me in. I'll probably pick it back up later and try again.

Loyally, Luke by Pepper Basham was a fun and sweet European adventure complete with a princess. It's also the third in the Skymar series of which I didn't realize until just now, but I had no trouble following the storyline. The story is about Luke Basham heading to the country of Skymar for a small construction job and ending up working with the princess (Ellie) to rebuild an orphanage. The book started off a bit slow, but quickly picked up and I enjoyed it to the end, it's the kind of story that leaves you feeling like life is content.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC.

Another miss that I wanted to love so much. It was just the writing style for me. I couldn't get into it, or the characters' heads so I ultimately had to give up.

In Loyally, Luke, Pepper Basham delivers a charming, albeit predictable, contemporary romance that brings together the rugged Luke Edgewood and an undercover princess in the picturesque setting of Skymar. The story is narrated by Luke, a self-professed thirty-year-old bachelor whose life revolves around black coffee, flannel, solitude, and his dogs. The plot thickens when Luke meets Ellie, a Grace Kelly look-alike who turns out to be a princess. Despite their differences, they find themselves working together to restore a castle-like orphanage. Forced proximity, secret journals, and growing chemistry make for a tale filled with romantic tropes.

This is a "kisses-only" romance, which is fine, but the amount of time the characters spend talking about the kisses is over the top. It's very junior high. And if you haven't read earlier books in the series, you might be lost. But for fans of clean romance and royal love stories, this is probably your jam.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Loyally, Luke is a sweet royal romance and also a part of a series. I almost stopped it when I started, I was completely lost with the text messages with the characters from the previous books that I had not read. I kept on and was delighted with a sweet palate cleanser of a story with a princess returning to royal life and a nice guy from the US who is helping to remodel an orphanage. Light on complications and miscommunication, it is a nice story to read and just be transported to a small country.

I have not read any other books in this series or by this author. It did not take away from my experience. I thought it was a sweet story and really enjoyed it. I'll definitely read more from Basham!

I really did not like the way Luke acted like he needed to immerse himself in traditionally manly activities any time someone mentioned romance, love, etc. to him, or even when he thought about it himself too much. It took me over 4 months to find the will to finish the book.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me an ARC of this book.
