This gorgeous book would make a wonderful gift for flower lovers. Filled with beautiful art work, it’s lovely to look it, but I loved reading about the origin of flowers and the legends and history associated with each one. It also talks about medicinal values and other uses. It was fascinating, a quick read, and a great topic.

This artistic guidebook to many different species of flowers is sure to be a hit with readers young and old! The paintings are absolutely breathtaking. The attention to detail is phenomenal, both in the paintings themselves as well as the botanical information. I learned many different uses of the highlighted flowers, in addition to their origins. The book is worth it for the illustrations alone!
