At first, I thought this is a book for toddlers. But am mistaken. This is a book that we all will enjoy, with some texts and beautiful illustration that takes you to Mexico! Some who are more in the advanced reader section can find more about special places in Mexico through internet, but I do enjoy taking closer look in the picture.

This is really cute little book and the second that we have read in this series!

I love that this book encourages kids to be excited about all aspects of traveling and exploring the world.

I liked that the book had a bit of a sneak peek and introduction too about what you can see if you travelled to Mexico City - there is certainly plenty to do! We can’t wait to see where Kayan goes to next as we have read the books on his trips to Aruba and Mexico City now

I love travel books for kids and if we are going away anywhere I always made sure that I get something for my daughter to read before we go and to take with us – I loved how excited she gets. This is a perfect story for a little one getting ready for a vacation to Mexico City and I hope that the series expands to further locations.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended!

Super cute book showcasing some of Mexico City's most charming sights and traditions. I was excited to read this book because I hope to take my son to Mexico City (one of my favorite places) and loved being able to get him excited about visiting Mexico City, too.

A delightful and educational picture book that takes young readers on a captivating journey through North America's largest city. With vivid illustrations and engaging storytelling, this book introduces readers to the wonders of Ciudad de Mexico, from the awe-inspiring pyramids at Teotihuacan to the colorful canals at Xochimilco. It's a perfect choice for families looking to explore the vibrant culture and history of Mexico City from the comfort of their own home or as a charming pre-trip read.

This book is so, so cute! Little Kayan is going on a trip to Mexico City and he wants to see everything. I actually learned something about the city, even though the book was very short and mostly pictures. I would recommend this book for any new readers or for storytime.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Lovely story exploring places that Kayan visits in Mexico. The illustrations are beautiful and I think young children will enjoy this story (as my own did). It may even inspire some wanderlust.

We will need more of this series! Let Kayan travel the whole world!

I just love the way this picture book is! It is so beautiful inside out! The writing is so accessible for the reading age and the illustrations are subtle yet totally eye catching!

The young reader will get enough information and inspiration when it comes to Mexico City. It’s not too much not too less for the young reader.

Perfect example of a good storybook!

Thank you, Arashi Publishing, for the advance reading copy.

Kayan Goes to Mexico City by Rohit Loomba takes young readers on a journey of discovery as young Kayan explores the pyramids, castles, and canals of Ciudad de Mexico. I was immediately drawn to the travel theme, and believe that these stories help to instill a sense of curiosity in children about the world around them, and help to foster a spirit of adventure. With colourful illustrations that bring the wonder of Mexico City to life, this lovely book will appeal to readers both young and old. I look forward to reuniting with Kayan as he continues to explore the world.
