Wow this is a captivating read, I loved the flow and hcaracter building in the book. Would reccomend.

A retelling of Beauty and the Beast is included here. Marriage for Isabella Farrington was rushed. Lord Draven Winthrop, despite his considerable wealth, is a figure to be shunned and dreaded. Draven's dark good looks, power, and charm are all things that lure Isabella to him. She's the daughter of an Egyptologist, so she's aware that she and the amulet she wears are the subject of gossip. It's nothing more than a bunch of superstitious nonsense... I opted to read this book since it had been sitting on my Kindle for a long time and I needed to catch up on some reading.

Requested and downloaded this book back in 2013 with every intention of reading it but then it expired on my device before I had the chance. Have felt bad about that and as a result haven't wanted to leave a review but with more and more publishers relying on Feedback ratings I need to clear out some of these older titles in my queue.

I have had this book since 2013 loaded on my Kindle. Sadly, I have tried numerous times and just can't get into it. I am going to call this one done and move to my DNF shelf.

DNF. Another one I remember picking up years ago and finding difficult to finish.
