Sammy Baker has recently relocated to NYC with her two children. She’s starting her life over, meeting new people, and enjoying more time with her sister, famous author Brooke Baker. So, if things are going so great, why does the book open with Sammy in a hospital? (I’m obviously not going to tell you that.) Despite her best intentions, let’s just say that Sammy has a little bit of trouble in the romantic relationships department.

What I liked: I love a good NYC setting. Social awkwardness that results in hilarity - 100% here for it. Fun family relationships, single mom kicking ass on her own, likable and relatable characters - this book has them all and is written in an adorable and fun way.

What I didn’t like: okay, okay, very unpopular opinion, but I absolutely hate “spice” in books. I’m clearly the odd one out in that I have no desire to know anything about anyone else’s behind-closed-doors business, including fictional characters. To me, it’s the same cringe factor as when people (including fictional characters) read someone else’s diary or go through their private belongings. So, I will admit that when the clothes start coming off, I tend to start skimming a bit until I find a page on which I see no euphemisms for body parts. It’s not that I don’t love romance novels - I do! Just with a good old-fashioned fade-to-black.

Overall, this book was a fun read. It’s the third in a trilogy and all three were quick, fun, light-hearted, cute reads. For people who enjoy this type of romance novel, I absolutely recommend it without reservation. I like a little more talk and a lot less action, so for me, it wasn’t a slam dunk, but I can’t stress enough - THE CUTENESS. Of the entire series. SO SO CUTE.

Thanks to Max Monroe and Netgalley for this ARC in return for my honest review.

Sammy Baker is a divorced, single mom trying to find her way again. With two boys and an absent ex-husband, she’s got the world on her shoulders and Legos under her feet.

Amid the chaos lives the dream of, one day, finding love again.

Though, she didn’t think that would land her smack-dab in the middle of two men.

Will Sammy choose the successful businessman who doesn’t hesitate to tell her he’s interested? Or will she go for the eligible bachelor doctor with a constant influx of women vying for his attention?

The smart choice and what the heart wants are two different things. And sometimes, fate has a way of making it so the choice isn’t ours at all.

I have never read (or listened) to a book by Max & Monroe and oh my goodness, what have I been missing!!

Immediately hooked in by the delightful warning at the beginning of the book, especially not to have any food in your mouth. Good advice as the amount of times I ugly0laughed out loud throught this book is innumerable!

Sammy is a single mother with two bundles of pure chaos in tow (her young sons) She has relocated far, far away from her intolerant parents and ex-husband (who did not even contest for custody of his boys)and commences a new life with her heavily pregnant sister nearby

Not only is she pondering on dating a friend of her sisters, but a mysterious stranger she bumped into in the street? Who will she choose?

However, I am getting ahead of myself, the book begins with a beep beep and we find Sammy stirring, from a coma, and the "love of her life" (not telling you which one" is still in a coma, with his heavily preggo gf by his side. Seriously, what level of head fluff must that be to wake up to!

Hilarity, chaos, confusion, a huge heart and oh so very relatable, The writing style is wonderfully paced and the plot flipping glorious!

There is a fantastic energy and pace in the narrative. Loved it!

Thank you to Netgalley and Max & Monroe for this hilarious ALC. My review is left voluntarily and all opinions are my own

Great fast paced book. Lots of drama that kept things moving along. Had me giggling and kicking my feet.

Rom-com written for and around humor, so more laughs than plot - somewhat slapstick and silly at points, but if you want a brain-break, a quick read, and just to let go for a while, this would be it.

this is the second book I've read from Max & Monroe and I got the same giddy feeling reading this book as I did with Accidental Attachment. I loved the rom-com vibes they always bring to their books but truly enjoyed Sam’s character- and the love triangle (not not really), she ends up with who I wanted her to end up with! The audiobook was great to listen to while I read and I always love me some Sebastian York and Elizabeth Louise

5/5 stars- thank you to the author and NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review

Id probably give this book three stars, whilst there wasn't anything particularly wrong with it, not much seemed to happen in the majority of the book and it felt quite boring. Half hearted attempt at a lovely triangle which kind of went nowhere.

Great to see a single mum book with rep for women over 40. Whilst I wasn't in love with this book I can definitely see people enjoying this

*3.5 ⭐️*. In Cluelessly Yours by Max Monroe, Sammy is a single mom that recently moved to New York City to be closer to her sister. Sammy has her hands full juggling her two young boys, Seth and Grant, and managing a restaurant. Like most moms, she finds it hard to make herself a priority and is pushed by her sister to get out there and date. Sammy is pursued by two men. Gavin and Noah both want Sammy‘s attention, but she isn’t sure if she’s ready to give her attention to anyone else besides her boys. As the reader, we are along for her wild ride!

I read the book, as well listen to the audio, and both were fast paced and straightforward. I really liked that there wasn’t a whole lot of fluff, and I was able to enjoy Sammy’s journey without any unnecessary parts. I really appreciated reading a story that showcased the love life of someone over 40. It was refreshing to read about issues that I might face in my stage of life as a mom at 40, rather than trying to relate to someone in their early 20s.

The epilogue did a great job of tying up loose ends, and answering all my questions. I finished the book feeling fulfilled. I had no lingering questions.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Where do I start with Cluelessly Yours by Max Monroe? I LOVED this book! Besides the Friends and Michael Scott references in the book, it has a good story line and engaging characters.

This book is the third standalone book in an interconnected series. I didn’t read the two previous books but I am going to now. This is my first book by Max Monroe but her other two books in this series have moved to the top of my TBR list.

I liked the layout of how this book was presented. It had a first half that was in Sammy’s perspective and then part two was the male MMC perspective and then part three was them mixed together.

I love a single parent troupe and Sammy was such a relatable character. I was a little concerned with the love triangle troupe but it is done so well in this book.

It is hard to review this book without giving away who she ends up with but let’s just say that he is now on my list of best book boyfriends. The micro troupe I love is he takes care of her and in this book he lets her rest and takes care of her two sons. SWOON!!

I enjoyed the side characters and look forward to reading their stories. I laughed throughout the book and held my breath in anticipation at times..

Thank you NetGalley, Max Monroe for voluntarily letting me read this book. I voluntarily read this book and gave my honest review.

For me this is so awesome to read a romance of characters over 40 YAY!! It's just so rare and I loved it.
After going through a divorce, becoming a single mother now with 2 young boys Sammy leaves Ohio and moves to NYC. Her sister Brooke a famous romance author from book 1 of this series tries to set her up with Noah her close friend. Sammy isn't ready to date, she wants to find herself and the happiness she is seeking but she's completely ambushed by life's trials. You'll swoon, cheer, laugh and I cried a few times over her precious 5year old and because he's just too adorable!!

I was super excited to read about Sammy's story. I just couldn't wait for it to come out.
If you're a fan of Max Monroe you'll love this but I suggest reading Book 1 beforehand.

What an interesting and unique romance! This book was funny, heartfelt, sweet and full of love. I loved that both main characters were in their 40s, and dealing with not-often discussed life issues (single parenthood, being a care-giver). The writing style was great - funny and captivating.

The trope of this book is so unique, it kept me hanging on to every page.

This was my first Max Monroe book, and I will absolutely pick up more!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this soooo much. Noah was so sweet and the perfect addition the their little family. He is so good with the boys and understands that anything with Sammy will obviously include her children. Noah is such a goner for her, I loved it. Sammy was very hesitant at first but she can't help the inevitable.

It was a very enjoyable story from start to finish I didn’t want to put the book down. It’s a love triangle and boy oh boy was a rooting for a certain someone. It is sort of like a nail biting experience trying to figure out who the FMC (Sammy) will choose.

I liked the flow and pace of the book and the addition of our characters. The prologue leaves you on suspense up until the last few chapters and when you find out the truth it is such a big plot twist. I was shocked and slightly relieved. There’s so much to say about this story but I don’t want to spoil by mentioning the MC so I will leave it as that.

This is my third book by Max Monroe and I am a definite fan! Cluelessly Yours is a standalone romance novel with a few crossover characters from Accidental Attachment and Best Frenemies. I absolutely love the writing style from the prose to the organization--I loved how the dual POV was set up in this one! I binged this one!!

The book is a little on the spicy side--there are a couple spicy scenes but I didn't feel like they were overpowering and they were not the focus of the plot. I enjoyed all of the relationship drama and twists that they threw at us with this one!

I ended up adoring this one! Sammy is an incredibly strong single mother, I just wish she wouldn't put herself down so much and deny help so often from all the people that love her. Once she finally let others in, it was such a beautiful thing.

Noah is the freaking best and is apparently the perfect man: loving, kind, smart, and (even though it's not technically mentioned), very well off. The way he cares about Sammy and her boys made me swoon.

You should definitely check this one out if you're a fan of contemporary romance. It was sweet and had a bit of spice, too!

I am so glad I read this. It was a little slow for me at the beginning but very quickly grasped my attention. I devoured this in about 5 hours lol.

4 ½ Stars for the laugh-out-loud romance

At first I was taken aback by the author's style of writing, but I liked it more and more as the story went on. I loved Sammy. She was so strong and had no trouble standing up for herself. And I loved Noah from the start. He was just so genuine and truly loved kids. Gavin on the other hand ... what a jerk! I love it when there are kids in a book and Sammy's boys, Seth and Grant, had me rolling on the floor laughing ... the things they got into LOL! This is a sweet, funny and swoon worthy romance that shouldn't be missed.

Sammy became a single mom of two rambunctious boys when she left her husband and moved to New York to be close to family. The boys and her job are the only things that she has been concentrating on. But her sister is set on matchmaking her with her friend Noah who is a doctor. Sammy knows the kind of guy Noah is ... handsome, a doctor and a player. He seems to be there every time she turns around. Sammy accidentally meets Gavin, a handsome business man who has no qualms about letting her know that he finds her attractive and wants to be with her. But the more Sammy gets to know Gavin and Noah ... she wonders if she got things altogether wrong.

I received a copy courtesy of the author through NetGalley.

I had the ALC and ARC at the same time and it was entertaining.

I must say I really enjoyed the audio, because it was narrated by authors I didn't know and their performance was really excellent for this book.

As for the book, I was a little disappointed because it wasn't written like the others in this series. The breakdown between chapters and points of view was different and that bothered me a bit. Don't get me wrong I laugh a bit with certain characters but it was not the vibes I was hoping for.

Sammy's story was great, but not my favorite. What I like most is that she cares a lot for her children but also wants to take care of herself. Now she's struggling between two men hitting on her at the same time.

If you like love triangles, this is the book for you.

This book was a great fun, fast paced predictable kind of romance so if that’s something you enjoy then I definitely recommend giving cluelessly yours a try!

I loved the characters within the book and loved how the kids were portrayed as fun and relatable to other kids in my own life. I often find books tend to ignore or forget the kid characters half way through but the author done great in continuing to involve them throughout. I loved the relationships that the author created with both the kids and the side characters to the main characters.

I did find the book to be predictable but kind of liked how it all ended up the way I hoped it would so I am not complaining at all! I loved Noah and Sammy’s relationship but did cringe at times with the more heated scenes (but that is more a personal preference!!). I did find things were abit too fast paced though and the end kind of felt rushed. A lot was revealed at the end and it felt abit muddled but nonetheless I would recommend this for an easy enjoyable read!

** Thanks to Max Monroe and NetGallery for the early written copy before the book was released **
