Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book! The title and this beautiful cover drew me in and i was excited to read this book! I will be recommending this book to others for readers advisory.

A fun, quick read! I enjoyed this one! It had Cheryl Strayed vibes, but with a romance! Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I adore everything that Kaitlyn writes. Her writing feels like a warm hug, a mug you put your hands around when they're freezing, or the heaviest blanket on a winter night.
Her characters are easy to cheer for and Wild About You is no exception. Loved it. 5 stars.

Wild About You by Kaitlyn Hill is a delightful and heartwarming romance that masterfully combines adventure, humor, and emotional depth. The story follows Natalie Hart, a vibrant and unapologetically herself college freshman who, after losing her merit scholarship and grappling with anxiety, decides to participate in "Wild Adventures," an outdoor reality show set along the Appalachian Trail. Paired with the rugged and reserved Finn Markum, Natalie embarks on a journey filled with challenges, personal growth, and unexpected romance.
Hill's writing shines with witty dialogue and vivid descriptions that bring the Appalachian setting to life. The chemistry between Natalie and Finn is palpable, their interactions evolving from initial friction to a deep, authentic connection. The portrayal of Natalie's anxiety is handled with sensitivity and realism, adding depth to her character and making her journey all the more relatable.

I have read a few books recently that were centered around hiking, outdoor adventure, and even the Appalachian Trail, and have enjoyed every one. Wild About You was no different. This young adult, grumpy-sunshine read was witty and fun, while also tackling the very prevalent diagnosis of anxiety.
Kaitlyn did a great job of representing some of the struggles people with anxiety face every day, while still keeping the story moving and enjoyable.

This is such a fun and adventurous new adult rom-com! I loved the Amazing Race-esque vibes, and the romance was just super cute! I've enjoyed every one of Kaitlyn Hill's novels, and this was no exception. Definitely check this one out!

Okay as a lover of Reality TV I thought I would love this book. As a loather of hiking and generally allergic to nature (as in actually not that I just don't like it 😅) I thought eh is it for me?
Reality TV side won out! I loved it.
FINN. oh em gee I loved this grump. Especially when his true side showed and I personally loved that it happened before the very end of the story.
Natalie. I feel you girl. like really. the outdoors are a hard pass for me. I just love everything the indoors has to offer 🤣 But I love that you did and became for it!! Proud of this mc :)
I loved the authors portrayal of life in this. The realness. Tackling hard things. Mental health is real and it is a struggle and the author did so good. The booked was still just funny and a good time while being real. Loved it.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a chance to read and review.

I did like this sweet and heartwarming story that will probably appeal to fans of romance. I liked the blossoming relationship between the two characters as well as the moments of laughter, tenderness, and emotional growth.
Hill's writing style is engaging and easy to read, making it a delightful escape into a world of love and connection. The chemistry between the main characters is palpable, and their interactions are often charming and relatable. The author does a commendable job of capturing the excitement and uncertainty of falling in love.
However, the book is not without its flaws. The pacing can be uneven at times, with certain sections feeling slow and drawn out. Additionally, some plot points are predictable, and the story occasionally relies on common romance tropes, which may detract from the overall freshness of the narrative.
While the characters are likable, a bit more depth and development would have made them even more compelling. Their personal growth throughout the story is somewhat predictable, and a few unexpected twists would have added an extra layer of intrigue. While there's enough charm and sweetness between the characters to make this a worthwhile read, it's not going to stand out from the thousands of books in the romance genre.

Book Review: A Wild Adventure of Love and Self-Discovery
In this charming grumpy-sunshine teen romance, the author of Love from Scratch and Not Here to Stay Friends takes us on an exhilarating journey through the Great Outdoors, where the path to true love unfolds in the most unexpected ways.
Meet Natalie Hart, a vibrant and unapologetically authentic character who captivates readers with her loud and unfiltered personality. However, her freshman year of college introduces challenges that shake her confidence when she loses her merit scholarship and faces a new anxiety diagnosis. Instead of letting these obstacles define her, Natalie takes a brave step forward by applying to Wild Adventures, a thrilling reality show that pits her against other college students in outdoor challenges.
What makes this story truly engaging is Natalie's determination to step out of her comfort zone. While she might prefer her elaborate twelve-step skincare routine over the ruggedness of the Appalachian Trail, the enticing scholarship prize money is a powerful motivator. The phrase "high risk, high reward" perfectly encapsulates her adventure!
As Natalie navigates through the trials of the competition, she is paired with Finn Markum, her randomly assigned teammate who embodies the spirit of the great outdoors. Their dynamic is filled with sparks and friction, reminiscent of the early stages of a budding romance. Finn's rugged demeanor and growl could easily be mistaken for a bear, but as their journey unfolds, readers are treated to the delightful tension between them that hints at something deeper.
The story beautifully captures the essence of falling in love amidst the backdrop of nature's wild beauty. It reminds us that sometimes, the most meaningful adventures are those that lead us to discover not just the world around us, but also ourselves and our capacity to love.
In conclusion, this book is a heartwarming tale of resilience, growth, and the exciting unpredictability of young love. Perfect for fans of teen romance and adventure, it will leave readers cheering for Natalie and Finn as they embark on the wildest journey of all—finding each other. #netgalley

Aspiring actress Natalie was one of the lucky few selected to be part of “Wild Adventures” college season. The winner gets $100k in scholarships, something she desperately needs since her parents do not support her career path. Although her extroverted and bubbly theater personality might be great for TV, her teammate for the show thinks otherwise. Natalie happened to be paired with grouchy Finn. At least he has great wilderness knowledge. As the competition progresses, though, they start to become closer…
I’m conflicted about this book. I struggled to really fall deep into these characters until the last quarter. Even though there were sprinkles of romance, it didn’t feel real until they finally took the leap. I will admit the first kiss scene was really adorable. Natalie and Finn connect over their dark pasts. These conversations did feel a little forced or scripted at times. Maybe I just feel that way because I can’t relate to these character’s personal struggles, but the amount of times these conversations popped up was really starting to detract from my reading experience.
Something that did really bother me was how the biggest conflict in the book happens because Natalie is on her period. Firstly, it just feels lazy, but more importantly it’s relying on a tired stereotype that women are hormonal irrational creatures when on their periods. Natalie can even recognize she’s taking things too hard, maybe not being forgiving enough towards others, yet ignores her own self-reflection and stands her ground that she is the real victim. That was just super disappointing to see.
I was teetering between 2 or 3 stars, but the ending romance scenes greatly improved my reading experience so I decided to bump it up.
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Children’s for an eARC. I’m voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I liked the concept of this romcom but I didn’t not get to finish this one due to running out of time. She writes cute characters and settings.

A YA contemporary romance novel with a side of adventure!
After struggling with anxiety during her freshman year at college and losing her merit scholarship, Natalie applies to Wild Adventures , a popular outdoorsy reality show. She hopes to win the prize money to continue her education without going into further debt. What she didn't count on was being paired with grumpy, yet incredibly sexy, Finn Markum. Can they learn to work together to beat the competition while ignoring their undeniable chemistry?
As a person with generalized anxiety, I really loved how Natalie was portrayed in this story. While anxiety was something she struggled with, it didn't define her. This was a quick read and I had it devoured in one day.
Thanks to NetGalley and Delacorte Romance for my advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Enemies to lovers, rivals, outdoorsy, a must read.

So cute! I'm a high school librarian in Kentucky, so I ate this up, and I know the romance readers in my library will love this one.

Thank you NetGalley and Random House Children’s for this ARC.
This book did not convince me to watch reality tv or to go camping or hiking. I’ll stay home with my books and things and indoor plumbing.
I had a good time with Finn and Natalie. Those kids (dude, I’m 41, they’re kids) are so much more adventurous than I have ever been. At some points, I genuinely thought I was watching them.
Kaitlyn Hill is pretty awesome!!!
Apologies for taking so long to write this review!

Such a sweet, feel-good YA romance that blends humor, heart, and a bit of adventure. Following a summer road trip, the book explores themes of self-discovery and love with relatable characters and lighthearted charm. Perfect for fans of heartwarming, romantic stories.

I will probably will recommend this to my YA readers. It had an interesting setting. I didn't feel like the reality TV element fit well with this, at times it seemed thrown in there. I expected more of that to impact the characters and at times it felt forced. The romance between the two and the way they challenged each other was done well and sets up a great model of a healthy relationship for teens.

This was cute! It took me a while to get into it, but then I really enjoyed it. It was comfortably predictable & had a unique premise. I loved their banter & the MC was very funny. Good stuff!

I lived this book! I love the grumpy-sunshine dynamic and I craved more books about wild adventures (a surprising niche of YA romances I didn't know existed but I now love). This story and the characters had me hooked and the author does a beautiful job feeling their story!

This story was quite charming! Initially, I found myself really disliking Natalie; she annoyed me to no end. However, as the story progressed, she eventually grew on me. In contrast, I loved Finn right from the start. He was kind and patient, which I appreciated. There were several moments that made me laugh out loud, which added to my enjoyment. I also found the hiking aspect interesting since I personally enjoy hiking (minus all the crazy obstacles in the story). Although it took me some time to warm up to the book, I ultimately found that I really enjoyed it once I got into it.
