Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, Action packed, intrigue, mystery, murder, revenge, a great who done it, great plot twist, and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle!! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! I have to say I ended up really loving this one. I love the dual timeline, where you are figuring out what is happening in the present and then back a few years, hearing the story of Madeline and her husband Benji. We find out that immediately after her wedding, Madeline is pushed over the edge of a cliff to her death.

We end up hearing the story from Rebecca, who is dead set on avenging Maddy's death, but we don't know who Maddy was "before." I do have to say that the only thing that kept this from a 5 star was that I guessed it about 35% through. However, I enjoyed the entirety of the book, Jessica Payne created an incredibly suspenseful setting that made you not want to put it down.

This was a fun one! I really liked Payne's first book, The Lucky One, and thought Never Trust the Husband was a similarly enjoyable, escapist read. There were twists and turns galore, which made this unputdownable because I *needed* to know what crazy thing would happen next. I somehow missed reading Payne's last two books (?) and am planning to pick them up asap to read on my next vacation!

Every night Rebecca watches Benjamin and Gwyn in their beautiful Seattle home on the Puget Sound. She knows they killed Madeline and will stop at nothing to prove it.

Payne is one of my favorite authors and she delivers yet again. Her books are filled with twists that will have you questioning everything you think you know. This newest one features jealousy, friendship, money, power, and revenge! If you love thrillers with jaw-dropping twists, this one is for you! Clear your schedule for this one because once you start it, you’ll have to know what happens next. I give it 4.5/5 stars!

This psychological thriller/ mystery was addictive from start to finish. I couldn’t put the book down until I found out what happened. I loved how the story was told in 2 different timelines and how everything came together. Although I did see some twists, there were so many that surprised me. This book comes out in March and I highly recommend!!

Such a great premise! This is what I call a perfect mystery book. Interesting lead character and a story that keeps you jumping from one possible theory to another. You really feel for this woman who has been severely wronged. This is an author I will be watching.

This just didn’t do it for Cover said it was going to be “a totally gripping psychological thriller packed with twists”. It was more of a romance loaded with jealousy and suspicion. It was NOT a psychological thriller that’s for sure. The characters were flat and none of them were likeable. The only thing I did really like was the imagery. I loved this book! The twists were great! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a quick, wild ride!

When something happens to the wife the initial main suspect is the husband. Maddy and Benji had just started their married life together to it when Maddy goes missing and is presumed dead. The story is told the dual timeline, one being the present and the other 3-4 year ago when Maddy and Benji met and got married. Rebecca is the main storyteller in the present and she is determined to avenge Maddy’s death. We don’t know her connection to Maddy which added intrigue. Not only are you trying to guess who killed Maddy but why Rebecca wants to avenge her. A very well written suspense thriller you won’t want to miss!

You look happy in your wedding pictures despite ignoring warning signs. Now you’re dead but I won’t stop until you’re avenged.

This was a twisty tale that kept up the suspense. It was a little unbelievable when all was said and done, but it was still enjoyable. It would be hard to put down, as you really want to know who is who and who did what.

First from this author for me, but immediately added more to my TBR after reading this book.
I was hooked from the start and loved the rush trying to figure out who was guilty of what and who fit in where.
Definitely a fun, twisty read and I can't wait for the next.

Jessica Payne does it again!! I absolute love all of her books and this one was no disappointment! I read it in one sitting because I truly could not put it down. As always, her characters are so well developed you can't help but love even the worst ones. And those plot twists!!! 5 stars, can't wait for whatever Payne has coming next!

This is my first book by Jessica Payne and I can't wait for the next! Initially I thought I had everything figured out, but in the end I did not! The characters were fun! The plot was twisty and Payne did a great job of setting a fast moving pace! The book dips from past to present which makes for a unique way to tell a story and put the plot puzzle together! 5 shiny stars for Never Trust the Husband. Wow. This is the kind of book you don't want to see end. This was a quick read for me because I couldn't stop reading it. The writing and character descriptions were done very well.

This book goes back and forth between Madeline 4 years ago and Rebecca now. Rebecca is trying to avenge the death of Madeline, who was murdered on her honeymoon. Madlines husband is now set to marry her once best friend and Rebecca has them in her sights. The twists in this book are very well done. I kind of guessed at the killer, but still. The final twist was done remarkably well.

Wow, this book hooked me from the beginning. I ended up finishing this book super quick, I had to know how it ended! I was not expecting the twist at the ending nor was I expecting who the narrator was. Overall this was a solid suspense book that I would highly recommend.

In Never Trust the Husband, Madeline went missing on her honeymoon which was a hiking trip in the mountains. It was her, her husband, and their friends. Fast forward, her husband Benji is now engaged to Madeline's best friend Gwyn. The narrator of the story has been watching them to try and figure out who killed Madeline.

Wow! What a book! I couldn't read it fast enough. The tension and pace were absolute magic! Brilliantly unsettling, with characters so deftly woven that you never quite know who – if anyone – you can trust. Another riveting and powerful psychological thriller from this talented author.

The book has dual timelines and it has been narrated from Dual Perspectives. There is nothing more perilous than woman on a quest of avenge. I love the narrative. The author has written a suspenseful thriller. Madeline was murdered on her honeymoon some years ago. But no one is certain what happened with her. Now, Rebecca is trying to find the truth behind Madeline’s Death. But it’s twisted and truth is so heartbreaking. The bond between Madeline’s best friend and Madeline’s Ex-husband is making Rebecca suspicious. But the truth is twisted and it is not how it seems to be. This is a gripping psychological thriller filled with unexpected twists and turns. It will keep you guessing till the end and it’s a brilliant whodunnit.

I love this authors work and this book was no exception.

The story is set in Seattle and revolves around two main characters, Madeleine’s story set three years ago and Rebecca today who is trying to find out what happened to her, was she murdered. There are red herrings everywhere throughout the book and just when you think you have a handle on the story you are thrown another curve ball that makes you think twice, three times. This does not mean you may not figure out what is happening but the plot is strong and will make you question things.

Great characters, some likeable some not but together they bind together to provide a very entertaining read. Will I always continue to support this author, yes I will as each time I pick up a book they have written I know I am in for a treat.
