Excellent for travel. It is more like a journal than a book. It has basic information and spots to document your trip and check off the parks you visit. I really like this idea.

This book is great, a hard copy would be even better. As someone who isn’t much of a traveler it would be super helpful in being able to document and recount adventures along the way. It gave me a longing to make a bucket list of the most interesting parks that are within reasonable driving distance to my location.

Thank you NetGalley and Callisto Publishing for my ARC copy of this book.

Can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy and plan to gift one for the travelers & explorers in my life.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this eARC.

In the realm of travel literature and guidebooks, Paige Wunder’s Journey to the 63 U.S. National Parks stands out as a beacon for adventurers and memory keepers alike. This journal is not merely a collection of maps and checklists; it is a companion that invites you to engage deeply with the splendor of America’s natural treasures.

Wunder, known for her travel blog For the Love of Wanderlust, brings a personal touch to the journal format. Her passion for exploration and sustainable living breathes life into the pages, making this book more than just a logbook—it’s a narrative of the national parks’ legacy, woven with the threads of your own experiences.

The journal’s structure is intuitive, with each park receiving its own dedicated entry. These entries are not only informative, providing fun facts and a space for the coveted park stamp, but also reflective, offering room to jot down the people you were with, the sights that took your breath away, and the moments that will linger in your memory.

From Acadia’s rugged coastlines to Zion’s majestic canyons, Wunder’s journal is a guide that encourages you to document your journey in a way that is both systematic and sentimental. The alphabetical listing of parks, coupled with an overview grouped by state, makes planning your visits a breeze, while the blank pages beckon you to fill them with future adventures.

As a book reviewer and an audiobook enthusiast, I appreciate the tactile experience this journal offers. It’s a tangible record of one’s travels, a physical manifestation of memories that might otherwise fade. For those who prefer the spoken word, an audiobook narrated by the author is available, although to thoroughly utilize the guide as it is meant to be used, I recommend the printed version.

JOURNEY TO THE 63 U.S. NATIONAL PARKS by Paige Wunder is described as A Journal to Plan, Record, and Remember Your Adventures. It literally meets that definition with over 200 basically blank pages. This could be suitable for someone hoping to travel to several National Parks and who wants to record their impressions and memories. I think this book could have been substantially improved with more information (e.g., fun facts, places to visit) about each park. There are no pictures – to get a sense of the content, one may merely look “inside this book” at amazon. 2.5 stars.

JOURNEY TO THE 63 U.S. NATIONAL PARKS by Paige Wunder
This book is so very organized. Starts with an introduction and how to use the book. There is a national parks checklist available that is also the table of contents.
Each Park also has a colored tab to the edge that shows the state or territory the park is located.
There are checklists and suggestions for planning your trip so you don't forget anything. There are several pages that you can print out for each park you plan to visit.

Each of the parks has their own pages that starts with a colorful scene, when it was put into the national park system and a bit about the highlights.
The journal type pages have other information about where to take the best picture and the square miles and elevation are also noted.
Temperature and weather conditions, who went with you and a section for your best experiences. Also places to note wildlife you saw if you’d return and what to do on your next visit.
Also a section for stamps and sketches. Great book, worthwhile to have on hand.
Received this review copy from Callisto Publishing Callisto via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

First off, thank you so much for this book.

As a women who worked and lived in Alaska, and enjoys exploring our beautiful national parks. This will absolutely be a book my husband and I purchase for our past and future travels!

I’ve only been to 3 of the parks in this book, but I’ve started a list in recent years of the others that I want to visit most. This book is a great way to prepare for those hopeful future trips. I really like the pre-visit checklists, though I’m not totally sure about their placement in the book. I also kind of wish the table of contents/checklist included the state information for each park. It’s only apparent later that they’re organized in alphabetical order by state. The artwork/patch for each park was great, and the areas to fill out are simple and clean. I particularly like that there’s an area for a stamp or maybe even a small instant photo from your trip.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

A great journal to document your visits to the national parks. There is a checklist in the beginning to make sure you’ve taken every detail into account before your trip (and there are several, so you are ready for multiple trips) and then a few pages for each park, organized by state. There’s space for basic information such as the date, the weather, and who you visited with, then larger sections for your impressions and stamps from the park. If I were just starting out in my journey to visit them all, this would be perfect! I might still use it because my system requires several journals (I like to document EVERYTHING!). I may actually use this to document our dog’s journey with all his #USBarkRangers tags or our cat’s junior ranger accomplishments. Nice, clean layout makes it easy to use.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Callisto Publishing for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I got the kindle version of this book-and I could not figure out how to actually use it. I mean as a journal. This is not what I expected. I assumed that there would be a little bit of information about each park and then a way to journal about what you did there and what you saw etc. There was no information about the parks and it was basically the same questions on each page about the parks. It did have a couple of pages that could be helpful in the planning of your trip. I just don't think this is very user friendly. I was a little disappointed. 3 stars

Thanks to NetGalley for advanced copy.

My husband and I want first all the national parks and this book is exactly what we need. Sure, the national parks have passport books, but this will allow to us to add our thoughts and other things. So, I definitely went and ordered us a final copy.

This would be fun to have for someone planning to visit several national parks. However, it felt like a wasted opportunity, because there was little information about the parks. The primary content is a list of the parks with spaces where you can fill in your experience. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Great book to plan and note feedback of the Parks BUT I think it really lacked even the most basic maps and any location information (e.g. states of origin).

Journey to the 63 U.S. National Parks - A Journal to Plan, Record, and Remember Your Adventures by Paige Wunder is a very well laid out journey planner and journal. There is a checklist of 63 National parks and each page is laid out to not only plan the trip, but prompts to reflect on while you are there. A great companion if you are going to travel to each of these amazing locations

Thank you to Netgalley, Callisto Publishing | Callisto and the author PAige Wunder for this ARC. My review is left voluntarily and all opinions are my own

This is a fun journal to track your national park visits! Each national park has its own page where you can fill in different details about your visit. There is also a section to put a stamp or a sketch. There are also several pages in the front to help you prepare for your visit. Overall, it’s a fun book if you like journaling and keeping track of your travels!
