I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.
I received this book for free for an honest review from netgalley. Thank you for the opportunity.
So exciting!
Such a great ending to a good series.
I will miss these characters something fierce!
A completed fantasy series with an HEA, what more could a girl ask for <3
Another masterpiece by A K Mulford. They are such an amazing author and every book of theirs I read I am amazed. Representation is important and they prove that.
This was a great way to wrap up a series. It was everything I could have wanted and more. I will miss these characters!
I was sick when I got to read this and forgot to write my review.
The final installment of The Five Crowns of Okrith is finally here! This book was a little more character driven than some of the characters but I love it when stories do that.
Cary's is following what she feels is the course her life must take but in the process she is thrown together again with her fated, the same man who betrayed her trust years before. This book has all the lovers to enemies, enemies to reluctant allies vibes possible. I also love that Mulford's characters make legitimate mistakes and must deal with the consequences. It gives the fantasy a believable human edge that makes you fall in love with the characters even more.
Cary's develops a lot over the course of this book and I was glad to see that played out in the text. If you're use to the faster pace of book 2 or 4 this one may seem slow, but as a wrap up to the series I think it worked well. This series got me hooked on Mulford's writing back when it was indie published and it's still one of my favorite fantasy series.
Thank you Netgalley, the publisher, and A. K. Mulford.
While this was a great end to the series I am very sad to see it end. A.K. Mulford is an amazing author. Her world building and characters are perfect.
Everything AK Mulford writes is magical. This was the most perfect finish to the series but I am so sad it is over. I adored all the characters and it was truly the best pairing to finish on. Everything wrapped up so nicely and had delightful twists and turns along the way. I might be crying that the series is over, but this story was absolutely incredible and this series is so amazing.
The Amethyst Kingdom, the fifth and final book in the Five Crowns of Okrith series, has finally arrived. This installment centers on a determined young fae warrior driven to win the Eastern Court crown. However, her quest becomes even more complicated when her fated lover—and rival—Ersan enters the trials, forcing her to navigate the tension between competition and romance. The journey has been a thrilling mix of adventure and passion, and Carys’s story delivers a satisfying conclusion. As one of my favorite characters in the series, I was thrilled to see her take center stage in this final chapter.
While I absolutely loved this series, book Five was definitely my least favorite. I just couldn’t get invested in the characters or the plot like the others and couldn’t wait to just be done to get some answers. I would absolutely still recommend the series, though!
Overall I really enjoyed this title. This is the finale to the series and A.K. Mulford did a wonderful job with it. Though I enjoyed the book, there was a lot that was
I was so excited to get Carys’ story and hers was such a perfect way to finish out the Crowns of Okrith series. It was a lovely story of healing and growth that had me hooked from page one.
I've waited so long for this book! A great finale to a great series. I think some parts could have been developed a tiny bit more, but it didn't take away from the overall story. I loved this series so much because each book focused on a different character, but there was kind of one overarching story. I recommend this book/series to fantasy romance readers.
I'm not sure how I feel about this comclusion to the Five Crowns of Okrith series. I think I was expecting a little too much form the conclusion. This would have been a great book as #3 or 4 in the series. The conclusion and tying together of the previous stories overshadowed Carys' story. I struggles with Carys' personality in this book, it felt like a complete shift. She was one of my favorite's in the other books so I was hoping to see more of what I loved. Overall I think this series if worth a read even though some books were better than others. Not every book is the right fir for every person, and that's okay. I loved book 1 for example and didn't like book 2 (this one reminded me for of #2). I think I would have liked it better if the stories were more interwoven instead of being anthologies. Each book is from a different perspective and tells a mostly standalone, complete story. If the books were multi-POV giving pieces of each individual story in each book, ending with all 5 stories complete, i think that would take this from a 4 star series to a 5 star one.
I really enjoyed reading this book! While I personally liked a few of the other series' titles slightly more, I thought that it was a well done ending to the series. A few of the plot points felt a bit under developed, but overall I loved this and would definitely recommend it to library patrons!
Long awaited finale to this wonderful series! This whole series has blown me away, I've loved every second of it. Highly Recommended!
Much awaited, I love this series and this lived up to all my hopes and expectations! Highly recommend.
I loved jumping back in with some amazing characters and seeing how the series wrapped up. I have enjoyed this world and I’m definitely sad to see its journey come to an end, but I loved how all of the books had a very strong common plot while also moving a different set of characters story along.
This book series, in general, was so amazingly good. I enjoyed every single book. Now, specifically, this book I LOVED. I have waited for this book to come out for quite a while, and I do not regret it. I love the characters in this book, I love the plot, and I love how interconnected this book was with the others, finally bringing the story that we followed to an end. AK Mulford's writing was very easy to follow, and I loved the world-building. I would have to put this book as one of the best books I read in 2024.
I received this book as ARC through Net Galley for review.
I love this series! The found family storylines and healing generational trauma is amazing! Carys has been my gal since book one. I was a little disappointed in the evening to lovers storyline as I thought she was a really whiney brat. I guess it's believable in she regressed being so close to someone from her childhood. However, the story was to why they were enemies fell flat for me. As much as it was portrayed as her scorching the earth because of what happened it was a let down. I loved the unexpected hero and the rally to win. The ending was the ending I needed though.
Thank you A.K. Milford and Harper Collins Publishing for my ARC e-copy. This series was my feel good series and I truly wasn't ready to say goodbye to the characters but I loved it!
