A lovely steamy christmas romance very sweet

Lovely characters and wonderful chemistry between them perfect for the winter season

Tracy Sumner, multiple stories with kisses and Christmas. What's not to love? Especially the Ice Duchess was my favorite. Having read almost all books of the Duchess Society Series, I loved to read about Geogie's story as well. So, keep it coming Tracy! Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I loved every story in this steamy collection. Great holiday themed stories of the perfect length to read between other holiday activities.

Tracy is one of my favorite HR authors that i get the chance to read them thanks to NetGalley, her stories are always good, hooking you from the first chapter to the end, the passion between her characters NEVER disappoints me

I am more familiar with Tracy Sumner's latest work so it was interesting to read this collection of "Christmas" novellas.
The first 2 I had read before and The Ice Duchess is the beginning of what is my favourite series from Tracy Sumner.
I really wasn't a fan of the last story, it just left me a bit confused and was a struggle to finish.
Overall I enjoyed this collection but I think you miss out on a lot as they are from 4 different series so you don't know all the side characters. And none of the stories were really that Christmasy so don't go in expecting a lot of Christmas vibes.

Four great Regency stories in this collection, I found them separately on Amazon so I can read again at another time. The stories are Chasing the Duke = Tristan Tierney, and his defiant lady, Camille Bellington get a second chance, Tides of Desire = physician Macy Dallas and boatbuilder Caleb Garrett, The Ice Duchess = Georgiana Whitcomb and her childhood obsession, Dexter Munro, the future Duke of Markham and To Desire a Scoundrel = Katherine Peters and Tanner Barkley. All the stories are short and well worth reading. I would recommend. I received a copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This Christmas anthology was a lot of fun to read. It put me in a very festive mood!

Loved reading the collection of four engaging and engrossing romance stories written by the fabulous author, Tracy Sumner. Beginning with Chasing the Duke - With Tristan's return, Camille's life changes. Next, The Ice Duchess - When Dexter, the future Marquess of Westfield, sees Georgiana, he wants to know why she is referred to as The Ice Duchess, why she won't marry again, and if she will help him find a wife. In Tides of Desire - When Caleb Garrett is in need of a doctor, he goes for help from Macy Dallas. To Desire a Scoundrel - Tanner desperately wants Kate back in his life, but Kate wants nothing to do with Tanner again. Read the highly recommended four stories in one book, wonderfully written, and all are must read riveting stories.

This collection was enjoyable but not the strongest of her work, the first few stories were the best.

I have mixed feelings about this Christmas anthology. I'll touch on each of the stories separately...

Chasing the Duke: I'll be honest, this was probably my favorite in the group of novellas. I couldn't tell that it was the 7th book in a series as it stood on its own quite well. I enjoyed both Camille and Tristan and felt their romance was very well developed. I especially liked that Camille was a bit of a bluestocking with her botany trade. I would have loved for this story to have been a bit longer.

The Ice Duchess: I actually skipped this story as I'd already read (and reviewed) it. This story is a prequel to a series and I remember enjoying both characters in this one as well. It was a nice twist that the hero, a duke, had a passion for geology and the heroine, had a business helping women prepare for marriage. It was a nice reunion story that totally had me wanting to continue the series.

Tides of Desire: As the third book in a series, I often felt I was missing something while reading this one. It wasn't bad, but the character development was lacking, probably because at least one of these main characters has been growing throughout the series (which I haven't read). I had a hard time connecting with the characters and their romance. I did however, like the setting in America and that Macy is a doctor and Caleb is a shipbuilder. I might go back and read the earlier books in the series to see if that helps make this book a little more complete.

To Desire a Scoundrel: Well, according to Goodreads, I had read this book previously (like in 2015) and I honestly don't remember it at all. For me, this was the weakest book in the anthology. I really had a hard time liking either Kate or Tanner or caring what happened to them. Their history was probably the highlight, but I didn't like their reunion and found myself just skimming the book to get it over with. I just couldn't connect and would probably have DNF if I hadn't been so close to the end and wanted to see that HEA even if I couldn't really get behind it.

Overall, I give this anthology 3.5 stars. There were a could good stories, one decent one and a clunker.

I have enjoyed every Tracey Sumner book I have ever read. Therefore a combination of 4 of her books (3 of which I have not read) was a jackpot for me! It was interesting to see her growth as an author since some of the books were from her earlier series. The Ice Princess was my favorite, but I think I need to go back and read the Garrett Brothers and Southern Heat books.

I found the first three novellas enjoyable and loved the stem influence.

I'm getting Eloisa James's earlier books vibes. This is a fantastic book, especially on those cold nights. You will want to have a box of tissues nearby because this is going to be a tear fest.

I love that Tracy Sumner exhibits love in a non-conventional way. The usual, beautiful male adonis is a bore. She puts true human emotion, and war heroes, and defines PTSD even when people were unaware of mental health.

This collection of four holiday novellas is the absolute perfect Christmas read. I adored all four stories, but the Ice Duchess was my favorite. Georgiana is a young widow with an unhappy marriage behind her, and Dexter Munro is an avid geologist who needs to get married quickly before he becomes the Duke of Markham. He’s also her childhood friend that she has always loved. She proposes to play matchmaker but of course hidden feelings abound. I’m excited to read Tracy Sumner’s other books after this one!

This collection of four historical romance novellas all set around the Christmas holiday was just what I wanted it to be. Having four different stories loosely connected by the same theme worked really well for me. There was really nice variety of characters, geographic settings, time periods (though all 19th century, as far as I can remember), and tropes (brother's best friend, snowed in, "I hate everyone but you," second chance, etc.). Even with all that variety, there was cohesion because of the shared thematic elements. I would highly recommend to anyone else who has been binge reading holiday romances and wants something historical to throw in the mix.

Life is hard. Romance novels should be an escape of sweet proportions. Tracy writes them exactly that way.

No, I’m won’t say how or what happens.., but this book is a hug that lasts as long as you read/remember it.

A lovely collection of four novelles, each with strong characters and happy every after. During the holiday season, these are great fast paced story that are both light and airy. The author is very skilled in both her creativity and the depth of her characters. The reader doesn't feel rushed or with pending questions at the end of each story. A beautiful collection to have on hand for light reading during a very busy time of year.

This anthology includes four emotional and deeply romantic short stories. Two are Regencies, and two are set in the Carolinas in the nineteenth century. I especially enjoyed the first story, “Chasing the Duke.”

Anthology of sexy fun romps.

Chasing the Duke: Camille has loved the Duke Tristan forever but she is now done chasing him and moving on with her life. However Tristan has now realized she is the one for him. The struggle and wooing begins.

Ice Duchess: This is the beginning novel of the Duchess Society series with Georgie and Dex.. Dex has been oblivious to the love of Georgie and now has to make up for lost time. The whole series is worth reading and rereading.

Tides of Desire: A Garrett brother novel with Caleb falling in love with Macy the local doctor. A small town romance with interfering relatives.

To Desire a Scoundrel: Tanner and Kate have a murky past complicated by love, lies, and betrayal. Working through it to a HEA is taking a lot of work.

A very eclectic mix of books in this collection of 4. Two fantastic tales of strong females fighting the odds and trying to hold their own in the society that saw women as property, they ere well written and moved along at a good pace with attractive leads that I wanted to get together.
The second pair of books seemed to be totally different. The historical period wasn’t the same and was represented totally differently. The women weren’t women that I wanted to cheer on and I struggled to associate with them as they came across as flighty, naive and in the silly side.
Two crackers and two that missed the mark for me.
