Over ten years ago Eleanor Brigg's mother died after terrible suffering, this has made her question her relationship with God. Why as such a Godly woman with her strong faith wasn't she spared from such suffering she wonders. Her faith in God shattered she doesn't believe a relationship with him is plausible.
Carter Brunswick owns his family's flour mill in Kalispell, Montana his family does well and is responsible for employing almost all in town. The land needed to grow adequate wheat for as much flour as they provide for not only the state but out of state is monumentous, thousands of acres.
Elanor and her conservatist father travel to Kalispel to advocate for the land not to be owned privately but to be turned into a public land for all to enjoy and be conserved for generations to come. This was before the National Parks came about, specifically Glacier National Park.
Carter has other things to occupy his mind besides his wheat fields though, the Great Northern Railway due to safety concerns and expenses is ready to pull out and go to a more industrial and profitable area. This will affect the whole town and its employees when they can't get the product shipped out.
Despite their differences in opinions and initial dislike for each other Ellie and Carter know they must work together for the benefit of all.
I think my favorite character is the mayor's wife. She works so hard to get the couple together and she is so strong and perseveres in helping Ellie find her way back to God.
Such a beautiful faith filled story, with so many encouraging elements, Ellie's journey back to God was such a heartwarming read. I did enjoy reading about the conservationist rallying around for large amounts of land to become public lands preserved for all to enjoy.
I enjoyed the characters and the plot a lot. I am looking forward to a continuation to this series and a follow up of the situations we encountered in this book.

With Each Tomorrow is an amazing story of Eleanor,a woman who was hurt by God not saving her mother and turned away from Him. She is a conservationist, along with her father. She travels west to Kalispell, Montana where it seems the railroad is going to move somewhere else leaving the town in an uproar. There she meets Carter and gets off to the wrong foot. She also meets Marvella, who is determined to help Eleanor find a match and her way to the Lord. Carter finds himself drawn to Eleanor and also wants to help her come to the Lord.
I really loved this story! It’s so full of faith, and a great testimony of even though God doesn’t always do things the way we would like He is still there with us through all situations. I loved Eleanor and Carter’s relationship. And there was even some bad guys thrown in the mix with this story. Overall, I thought it was a great faith-filled historical romance story and I definitely recommend!

I love characters from the first book in the series, The Heart’s Choice, return in this second book. One of my favorite characters is Marvella. She is a whirlwind of energy, matriarch and matchmaker in the town. She takes Ellie and Carter under her wing and sets a course to match them for life. Will Ellie and Carter find love? Will they follow God’s leading in their lives- both personal and professional?

I love the history of the establishing of the national parks and the history of the railways across the country. The authors’ notes give more information on the history of Kalispell and the railroads. A fun and heartwarming story.

This is an entertaining and enjoyable read, and the authors have a good grasp of history and the time period, which I greatly appreciate and admire. They weave historical research and facts seamlessly into the narrative. I learned a lot about the national parks and conservation movement, as well as the railroad. At the same time, the characters are the real stars here, and the romance is a fun grumpy/sunshine storyline that keeps readers invested.

The truth of God's love and persistence is a wonderful theme that really shines through the storyline.

I have not read others in this series, but I did not find that my lack of familiarity impacted my enjoyment of this book.

Carter was my favorite character. He had such a strong faith.

What a great book! I loved the grumpy/sunshine trope (especially that it was Ellie being grumpy and not Carter).

I enjoyed this historical story, with great characters (both primary and secondary), and beautiful reminders of God’s love and provision. The railroad and national park history was very interesting.

Eleanor was a spit fire. She had a lot of hurt and anger toward God to work through. The truth of God’s love, no matter if you turn your back on him and walk away, was beautifully shared.

I loved Carter! His faith in God even when faced with the potential devastation of his business was encouraging. I loved that when he started worrying he kept turning it back over to God. And of course his patience (and teasing!) of Ellie. He was faithful to pray for her while she was struggling too.

With Each Tomorrow is the next book in this series that takes place in Kalispell. We see the lovely Mayor and his wife from the first book, plus the friend of Mark named Carter. This book covers a time in history when the railroad was leaving the city and was going to cause major issues for the city. The book covers the uproar that causes to this community and the plot to try to convince them to change their minds. Additionally we see the expansion and planning of the new national parks like Glacier National Park. and we see debates between conservationists who believe NO ONE should own excessive land privately--and the ranchers/farmers who know they NEED the land to provide the food for the nation. I felt like there was some nice discourse in that showing how ranchers/farmers are highly in tune to the land and know what it needs for it to prosper.

It is kind of a fluff book without a lot of substance--and AGAIN we see the question of how can a Good God let our beloved friends/family die even when we pray.

While this series hasn't been deep, I still enjoy learning more about whatever topic the books center around.

Interesting concept but I had trouble connecting to the characters. I liked Grant’s family and would like to see more about them.

This is the second book in the "Jewels of Kallispell" series. It was a joy to come back to the setting and catch up with familiar characters. I found it hard to relate to the heroines conservation issues in what was a running theme though the book but she also showed growth through the course of the story which made her a stronger character.

Worth a read and I will be recommending to fans of historical romances. You could read this story without reading the rest of the series but I personally thought the first book was good - so why not read it first!

My favorite subject in the book was how the author talks about how God has a plan for everything and everyone.
They've also included the beautiful Kalispell. Description was so beautiful that I felt like I was there watching the scenery.
I learned much about the town, it's people and the railroad.
I don't like people who refuse to listen.
There were several that didn't want to.
I liked Eleanor a lot! And I liked Marvella who was full of wisdom and friendship and a heart full of gold.
Carter is fantastic too. He's my new book boyfriend. Wow! He knows what he wants and has determination to get it.

Ellie, who has worked with her father in conservation since her mother died, comes across as very opinionated and arrogant, especially as far as farmers are concerned. …..
Carter Brunswick, the new owner of the flour mill and whose father owns a great deal of land where he grows wheat, and Ellie do not hit it off too well, especially as Ellie stopped believing in God when her mother died, and Carter has strong Christian beliefs. …..
Marvella Ashbury has her work cut out to try and lead Ellie back to the Lord and make a match between Carter and Ellie…..
In the middle of all this there are problems when Mr Louis Hill announces the removal of the Great Northern Railway from their town.
I enjoyed the Christian message of the importance of salvation and God’s protection.

"With Each Tomorrow" is a Christian romance set in 1904 in Montana. This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. Ellie didn't come across as particularly smart or as capable as she thought she was. Despite working with her father in previous conservation efforts and having visited at least one National Park, she was shocked and indignant at the idea of having hotels, roads, trails, and such in the National Parks so the public could actually view them. She was against private land ownership and couldn't see why farmers needed so much land for their own use, apparently oblivious (despite her many travels) to the fact that farmers grow the food that feeds other people. She's also constantly having mishaps that require Carter to come to her rescue. For example, she was following another person while searching for someone but started to daydream and got lost. Happily, Carter liked playing hero, and she was grateful for his help.

Historical details were woven into the story, but the Glacier National Park wasn't the focus. Much of that effort was talked about 'off screen' between her father and his friends. The focus was on Ellie learning how wrong her views had been, with the main one being that she blamed God for not healing her devote mother. Her hostess was determined to get her to see her need for God. Her hostess also tried to matchmake between Ellie and Carter even though Ellie was clear that she didn't plan to marry and Carter was clear that he was only interested in her as a friend since she didn't share his faith. (Obviously, that didn't go over well with Ellie.)

There's a side plot thrown in about a crazy man, who think violence will get the train owners to keep the train route through Kalispell, and his older brother, who just gives in to his brother's plans after his brother beats him up a few times. (Reality check: the author seems to think that hitting a person on their head so hard that they're unconscious for a long time causes no lasting damage--no concussion or risk of death.) There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this story to fans of 'busybody matchmaker' romances.

Ellie and her father...traveling...she meets Carter. Chaos ensues...conservationists...saving the land...moving ahead...these realistic characters keep this story moving quickly...a page turner from the first to the last. Two of my favorite authors do not disappoint. I liked this novel. This would make a great movie. Don't miss it. Curl up in a comfy chair and become lost in Ellie's story. Thanks Netgalley.

With Each Tomorrow by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse is a heart wrenching story of the beginnings of what would become Glacier National park. With each appearance, Peterson and Woodhouse craft characters that are enduring and transformative. The main characters of Eleanor and Carter come to argumentative in their first meeting. As the story moves along, Eleanor learns to trust God and find peace in him again. As for Carter, he learns that he needs to trust God more with his future plans. Also, I love the setting of Kalispel, Montana. I love the wilderness and the coming town that has expanded and does not want anything to happen to its population and job growth. As for the plot, the dual authors create a little bit of mystery along with the historical aspects of the story. More historical writers are including mystery elements in their plots, and I love this idea. Gives the story a little more to look forward to. Overall, With Each Tomorrow by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse is a delightful story to spend time with. Readers will be transported to early twentieth century Montana and swept away by the relationships and the historical aspects of the story.
