This was such a cute graphic novel and the next in the InvetigGators series which follows Mango and Brash having to go undercover at Brashs old middle school to figure out who is stealing the surrounding school mascot costumes and protect the one there at the middle school. The illustrations are super cute and the story is really fun and easy to follow.
Thanks to First Second Books and Netgalley for the complimentary copy of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.
Mango and Brash have returned, providing their loyal readers with another uproarious escapade. The lovable alligators have been assigned by S.U.I.T. to enter Agent Mango's middle school alma mater to protect its mascot from danger and extinction.
What follows is a story so hilarious that it, undoubtedly, will keep young readers laughing, and then, laughing some more. It's easy to understand why Green has such a devoted and steadfast readership. The illustrations are vivid and funny. The wording and phrasing are so entertaining, and the mixing of humans and fantastical animals enhance an already highly comical plot.
Even the Author's Note is a riot. The students in my Media Center love this series. This latest addition will be equally savored by all.

Mango and Brash are back for the eighth time in this bestselling series! But can they succeed as undercover middle school students? High jinx ensue as the super-spies must protect the team mascot, pass classes, and save the world. Again. Always an entertaining ride, the eighth book is superb and just what young fans are looking to read!
