Thank you to NetGalley and Stories to Tell for the opportunity to read and review this book for my students. If you are looking for a silly advertisement like picture book, this one is for you. I didn’t really like it because of that fact and I don’t think it’s best for my students. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3 out of 5 stars

This was such a cute and fun read! I loved the illustrations throughout. I also appreciated how the dad actually wanted to help his kids get rid of the monsters instead of saying that they don't exist like some stories do.

In this book, the BoogeyMan is in the bedroom and the parents have a special spray to make it go away. I wouldn't put this book in a classroom/school library to give kids ideas or put ideas in their head, but it is a good way to hep those with a fear cope.

Follow two brothers as they fight night time boogey monsters with their magic spray.

Just a quick splish, splash, splosh spray and any monsters disappear.

What a fun read to help your little one get to sleep if they are having trouble with night time fears. There is even a handy recipe at the hand for you to make your own spray. You can then use it in your own house to help alleviate your child’s fears.

Chase away the monsters with a spray recipe and magic words. It will clear all the creepy monsters away from every hiding spot, and help your littles to sleep well.

This is book 2 in the Liam and Landen series by their dad Lee Alfred. The illustrations are vivid and colourful and so fun to read and look at.

What I love about it the most is it is very simple to understand and it rhymes quite well which makes it fun for my kid. She loved to read the first book and then she jumped with joy when I said there are two more books which features the same two Dada (big brother in our mother tongue). She was fascinated with both Liam and Landen and how they get rid of boogeys.

Super fun and totally enjoyable.

Thank you so much Netgalley and Lee Alfred II for this amazing ARC in exchange of an honest review.

This series is officially our favourite.

A wonderfully engaging, and well illustrated book for young children. It is focused on getting rid of the boogeyman man and even includes a clever little recipe for a get-rid spray which adds to the fun!

The use of Rhyme is brilliant and will definitely make for a fun read for parents and children! The illustrations are so vibrant and eye-catching and I found myself really exploring the images too! A wonderful addition for any children's library :)

Such a cute book . My 8 year old son absolutely loved it. It was easy for him to read on his own. And it help to learn that monsters are not real and he also loved that there was a recipe that you can make at the end and chances are you will have every ingredient you need and your cabinets for the recipe.. The mother's opinion having a little recipe having a little craft to do at the end of the story is such a great idea.

A cute and fun bedtime story great for any child who may have worries of the boogeyman! My son gasp at the "based on a true story" title claim, while I giggled remembering an early time with my child where we made our own boogeyspray to protect our house. The added recipe at the back really took this story home for me as I love when stories give us "an activity." The photos were bright and eye catching and I enjoyed the flow of the story.

This book had me hooked when it said it was based on a true story.
How do you deal with monsters? Do you hide? No! You get rid of them! This family makes sure that they are safe before they go to sleep. And don't worry, this book has the recipe for the spray that makes the monsters go away.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

ARC provided by Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) in exchange for an honest review. My kids were enthralled with this book and were in disbelief such a magic spray existed, which was so cute. Bonus for the recipe in the back of the book!

Very cute rhyming book for younger children who may be scared at nighttime. The idea of spraying them to make the monsters disappear definitely got a laugh from the kids!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was not a book that my niece who is 5 enjoyed. The boogey be gone was not something she enjoyed reading and thought the story was confusing. Possibly better for slightly older children.
