Thank you @duttonbooks and @netgalley for the eARC of Name Your Price by @hellohollyjames in exchange for an honest review!

📖📖 Book Review 📖📖 Olivia and Chuck have a spark that has ignited into a wildfire that is beyond their control. Their passion runs a little too hot and their break-up seems pretty permanent. After all, she “wouldn’t get back together for a million dollars.” They soon learn the meaning of putting their money where their mouth is because when a video of their break-up goes viral, they are approached with a reality show that will pay them each a handsome reward to tape their lives together. Name Your Price is a delicious balance of laughs and romance. Holly James writes an absolutely delightful, clever book that might just leave you asking yourself what your price might be in a similar situation.

4.5/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The concept of this book is great. Put two recently broken up fiery personalities in a house together for a chance to win $1M and they cannot touch each other or lose money. The sexual tension is on high right from the start. The challenges were fun. I love that they learned to talk to one another and learn more about each other that lets them move on from their anger for one another. I also loved Chuck"s "grand gesturing". I do wish the MMC had a different name because Chuck just doesn't do it for me lol.

This was a fun, sexy read.

Thank you NetGalley, PENGUIN GROUP Dutton | Dutton and Holly James for access to the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I adore Olivia & Chuck so much. I loved the Hollywood and reality TV setting of this book so much. These characters were so easy to cheer for and it made reading this book such a delight. Well paced and the perfect mix of romance and spice! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my ARC. Looking forward to reading more books from Holly James.

This book is addictive.

No really. I read it in one sitting. I'm still thinking about it hours later. I am already wondering if I should go on a game show with my ex (the answer is no but 'Name Your Price' is making it hard to remember why its such a bad idea).

'NYP' is a lovers to enemies (?) to lovers romance with a whole lot of tension and even more feels. In short, it's wonderful.

The book is short, but it manages to get through quite a lot of plot without feeling rushed. I remember looking down at the page numbers when I finished and gasping at how low the number was. Point is, it's fast-paced but not rushed. The perfect combination. We start the book in the middle of an argument between the two main characters and the plot runs from there. I was hooked from the first page to the very last.

The characters are all well flushed out considering the length of the novel. I honestly thought I would hate the characters based off of the introduction in the first chapter, but they surprised me in the best possible way. I loved how they learned to work through their issues and found their way back to each other. It was so sweet, especially when they stopped fighting and started working together.

My one complaint is that this book isn't longer. I would've loved to see more of them both on and off the show. I wouldn't say it's a necessary fix considering how nice everything is already. I'm just greedy and want more.

I recommend this book to fans of Sarah Hogle's 'You Deserve Each Other,' fans of celebrity romances/romances set on TV, and anyone that watches 'Love Island.'

Thank you to the publisher for the e-copy. I am eagerly awaiting James's next release.

Romantic comedy is the genre I often turn to after reading a book that requires a lot of thinking and effort, and when I just want to immerse myself into something light-hearted. Name Your Price was exactly what I needed! The plot is unique, well paced, and all the characters (main and side) were extremely well developed. I loved everything about Chuck and Olivia’s relationship, their back stories, and the reality show premise. I binged this book in a matter of hours! This was my first book by Holly James, and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Thank you to Netgalley and PENGUIN GROUP Dutton for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Rounded up to four from a 3.5

Cute rom-com which follows the basic premise of most - somehow sexy couple fighting and splitting up find their way back to one-another and true ove.

This one was lusty and cute, with a fun premise of the adult surviving child of Hollywood darlings whose story was never really told. That premise, along with a fun inside look at what it’s like to film a reality show, caused me to broaden my reading horizons to read romance.

Good book for escaping.

I love a rom-com and this one doesn't disappoint. Fun storyline with likeable characters and the spin on the game show idea worked well

I liked, but didn’t love this book. It felt both rushed and slow in the storyline. I was excited for the premise, but the actual reality TV aspect of the show wasn’t as exciting as I hoped. I did like the characters trying to make each other crazy 🥵 but I feel the sub-plots were kind of unnecessary and took away from the whole story.

I really like this author so I’m looking to see what else she writes, but this one wasn’t a hit for me personally. Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House for allowing me to read and review this book.

Name Your Price by Holly James is a cute Hollywood romance that will leave you swoon, with all the feels all the way through the book until the (spoiler alert) happy ending. The drama & passion in this story is off the charts, but the storyline definitely makes you wanna keep reading as well.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book on #NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own, buy do yourself a favor & read this one. The main characters, Chuck & Olivia, go from a volatile romance through a roller coaster series of circumstances that help them realize that they need to fight for each other instead of with each other.

I'd like to thank Holly James and Penguin House Publishing for this ARC! This was a super cute, feel good read and a great palette cleanser type romcom. I loved the antics, the character personal growth, and the insight into how reality tv works. (view spoiler) This story wraps up nicely with a HEA if that's your thing, but I will say it felt really abrupt in how it ended. I feel like the ending could have been longer especially in regards to what Olivia was going to do next once off the show. I'd love to have read more of that instead of the quick ending and an epilogue of the story a year later. Feels like it could've been another 50-100 pages and I would've eaten that up! Otherwise, this was a really great quick read and left me smiling. Thank you again for the ARC!

Name Your Price makes you ask the question "How much money would you need to live under the same roof with your ex for a month?"

Undoubtedly, Olivia and Chuck have SO much physical chemistry but they are mentally not connecting well. When their heated breakup goes viral, they are asked to be on a show to win a million buck IF they can manage to stay in the home together for a month. Both desperate for money, they agree. Chuck is a B-List actor who is dedicated to his job, and Olivia is a writer who is equally dedicated. Olivia also struggles with a lifelong scandal from her celebrity parents in the tabloids that she can't seem to escape. I worked in the reality tv industry for years so this was really a blast for me to read! Everything felt very true to being on a reality show set which is a huge kudos to Holly James for good research!

This book was so much fun and the kind of easy read you pick up at the pool in the summer! Once I hit the half way point I was hooked and was rooting for them, but the first half I did kinda question "should they even really be together??" but if you wait its worth!! Once they got into the house it was like I couldn't put it down.

My ONLY qualm is it felt like a slow burn but also too short of a timeline if that makes sense? I don't know how those could co-exist but they did which was odd but it didn't stop me from really enjoying this read. I can't wait to read another Holly James book!

Thanks you Penguin Group Dutton, NetGalley and Holly James for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion!

I loved this! It was light and easy to read, the characters were ENGAGING AND INTERESTING and the premises was unique! It is near impossible to come up with a truly unique romance novel at this point but I loved that the book started with the crazy break up.

Absolutely would recommend! Don’t skip this book!

Liv & Chuck are volatile together- in great ways and in terrible ways. After their explosive break-up goes viral. Chuck, who is a B-list actor at best & Liv, a writer, are scouted to film a TV show where they have to live together for 30 days to win a million dollars. each. Life changing money that they both need for different reasons.

There's a catch. There will be challenges & there will be rules. That only leaves the question - can the survive 30 days together?

I am giving this book a solid 4 stars! I enjoyed it! I loved the banter & the rules. I LOVED the grandma. Give me a sweet elderly woman anytime. I think in ways I could also relate to Olivia. I think that being scared of fighting and running away from things is something that is easily done and completely relatable. I understood why she did. Being in love is scary. The future is scary. I just really enjoyed her & the growth that she achieved while she was in the house. I was a little off by Chuck for most of the book, but he definitely redeemed himself in the end for me and I was happy to see him learn how to communicate with Liv. I thought the twists were good! I enjoyed the writing style. Would definitely recommend!

Okay, I first want to start by saying how thankful I am to be given the opportunity to ARC read. I can't love every book I read and unfortunately, this book has been put on the dislike list.
I DNF this book at 30% because it honestly was missing the mark so much for me. I didn't like their dialogue, and I have come to the realization that maybe Holly James' writing might not be for me. I was excited because of the description but sadly couldn't get into it.
I have no doubt this book will be a hit for people who enjoy Emily Henry, Christina Lauren, and other authors such as those but sadly I am not someone who enjoys them.

Olivia and Chuck have always had chemistry, but one risk in chemistry is an explosion. As their relationship finally goes up in flames, it happens to be caught on video and goes viral. Olivia is heard saying that that she wouldn't stay with Chuck for a million dollars. Then the TV reality show Name Your Price comes knocking, offering Olivia just that if she can cohabitate with Chuck for one month on camera--no leaving and no touching.

This was a very cute and quick read, with an execution as good as the premise.

Thank you, NetGalley, for an advanced copy of this manuscript.

I loved this sweet rom-com! It has the perfect balance of entertaining dialogue, spicy scenes, emotional growth, and likeable characters. Chuck and Olivia are in an on-again/ off-again relationship that goes viral after an epic public breakup. Since they’re both in the Hollywood space, they get asked to be on a reality tv show to win million dollars, but the catch is they have to live together for a month! Drama and sexual tension ensues… This is a cute, easy beach read, and my first read from this author! Definitely recommend!
