I especially liked the part about common dreams - whew! There were similarities across cultures. I seem to cycle through some of these (some pleasant and some frightening). Semantic maps resonate for me. Thanks for the ARC!
(I had a little trouble reading this eARC because of a likely formatting issue. Ffs and Fis were omitted.)
I find dreams and dreaming fascinating so I always pick up books on the subject when I can. I appreciated the information and studies included, but it did tend to be a little clinical so I wouldn't say that it's the most accessible. It is obviously written by a brain surgeon, not necessarily a writer.
It was very informative though. I found the part where he talks about how young children begin to dream really interesting. Overall, I feel like I learned a few things and would recommend this book to people who appreciate the science.
