My kind of romance!
So funny, steamy and such a quick and entertaining read! Christina Lauren always has does a great job making romances fun and this one was no different.
Anna Green and West (Liam) Weston must fake being married at Liam’s sister’s wedding so Liam can get his full trust fund. Will it work, can they keep a secret, will they fall in love? Anna and Liam were great main character and narrators. You get to see scenes from each of their POVs.
Christina Lauren’s writing is amazing. They’re so descriptive and always advancing the plot. The steamy scenes were steamy🌶️! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It’s a must read for your next beach trip!
Christina Lauren never misses! The Paradise Problem did a job of tackling serious issues in a family and crafting a beautiful romance at the same time. I’m a huge fan of a dual POV, so I was very pleased to see it here. There could’ve been more spice but what we did get was pretty damn good. Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK! It was just what I needed and was the epitome of a fun summer read. It gave all the energy of The Unhoneymooners, but with a fresh spin. It was a perfect summer read and I know it’s one I will pick up to read over and over again.

I am a Christina Lauren girly through and through - so firstly, thank you to NetGalley, Christina Lauren, and Gallery Books for giving me the opportunity to review this story.
Liam and Anna's story was an extremely fun journey to be on and experience as a reader. Meeting Anna when we did in her life and getting some of her back story really allowed the reader to understand why Liam's offer was so enticing. And while selling your time for money would not be an enticing offer to all, and even Liam questioned why she agreed so quickly after raising the amount of money, her point of view of the story really provided almost a humane look at that decision.
And as you reading, just when you think you've reached the most exciting part of the story - WRONG. The part of the story on the island was Crazy Rich Asians meets Alabama Rush - over the top, extravagant, and also questioning why these people are spending so much money. And the best part of when they (Anna and Liam) got to the island to when they left, you really got to see that Liam is not a robot and that he cares very deeply.
I loved how the book ended - while is started messy, it ended up wrapping up in a very lovely way. My favorite line was 'We get to decide how much of our hearts we want to give them,' which I think perfectly brought together the idea of stripping known family ideals away and starting fresh on your own terms.
The only reason I am docking my half star (would in the real world rate it at 4.5/5) is because of the reference to Liam's male appendage as his 'goddamn,' that was funny maybe once and then was a little much any time after.
📖Book Review📖
Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren
My Rating:🌟🌟🌟🌟/5
.
I got to admit that I had a hard time starting this book.. if reading the start four to five times before I was able to push through second and third chapter is not a definition of hard start, then I do not know what is. However, I love Christina Lauren duo and no way I am sitting this one out when every book reviewer I follow and trust says its a must read! Yes, they were every bit telling the truth and I was glad to finish!
I love Anna and Liam! Anna can be annoying, but hey, she matches Liam perfectly that I can’t help to think why in the world this book was titled Paradise Problems?!
The storyline is a little predictable but the waves that crash and burn all through out the read was the very core of why I love fake relationship tropes. I enjoyed it very much. Christina Lauren once again has poured a lot of loving in this rom-com and I highly recommend!
Special thank you to Netgalley for the e-ARC copy to review. Sorry it took me forever.. some reading journey happens to need a few kickstarts!

The epitome of a summer beach read!
I was a little nervous going into this because I feel like Christina Lauren books are either a hit or miss for me, but I ended up really liking this one!
This felt like the Unhoneymooners elevated. I LOVE the billionaire rom coms and think they are so fun to read. On the contrary, I’m generally not a big fan of marriage of convenience books because I feel like they’re typically forced and cheesy, but actually think this one was done so well and ADDED to the story / character’s individual stories!
Above all, I think this book was hysterical! I laughed out loud so many times through this story. I wish I could be friends with Anna, I’d be laughing 24/7.
If you’re looking for one last summer rom com - read this one!
I enjoyed this summer read. Forced proximity and fake dating are my jam, and this had both. It was spicier than some of this author’s previous works, which was nice. Highly recommend this book.
I had high hopes for THE PARADISE PROBLEM, and I'm happy to report that it exceeded each and every single expectation I had! It's definitely steamier than some of CLo's most recent releases, which I *loved.* The perfect emotional yet sexy summer romance!
This was a fun, summery read, that gives off some of the same vibes as stories like Crazy Rich Asians (rich people, amiright?). I enjoyed the premise, and the chemistry of the main couple was undeniable. Unfortunately, I found myself losing interest in the story the more time Liam and Anna spent around his family, something I can only attribute it to some of the interactions feeling repetitive. However, I was more engaged as more conflict was introduced by the end of their trip. Overall, I would recommend this book, even if it isn't my favorite Christina Lauren story.
The duo behind Christina Lauren do it again. This was a book that could not be put down. Engaging, quality and quick read.
I really enjoyed the latest book from Christina Lauren, my favorite romance author duo! They always have a way of creating unique, lovable characters that you root for, and The Paradise Problem is no exception. I loved the island setting, and the fake dating and forced proximity tropes. As the steam heated up this book got so much fun! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun summer romance.
Love, love, love this book! Like every Christina Lauren title, I couldn't put it down.
Yes, the grumpy sunshine trope has been done before, but this book brings the right amount of laugh out loud humor to hold my interest.
I personally wish I could gain some of Anna's self confidence. It was witty, spicy and a little bit inspiring.
What a fun summer read!
I think this should be a movie on Netflix.
Rich guy married to starving artist whose family doesn't think she is good enough.
I enjoyed every minute of this book.
I will read ANYTHING Christina Lauren writes, but I think this one is my second favorite book of theirs (I can't get over Something Wilder). I love a good fake relationship story and while the whole situation was weird at the start, I really got into the banter between the two characters. There were some parts that I was frustrated at the characters, but all-in-all I still loved this one.
Paradise Problem delivers a delightful blend of romance and drama, centered around one of my favorite tropes—the fake marriage. The dynamic between the characters is captivating, particularly as the female protagonist gets to know the male lead through the lens of their staged relationship. The drama surrounding his family adds layers of tension and intrigue, keeping the story engaging from start to finish. The way their relationship evolves, with each revealing more about themselves, feels authentic and heartfelt. If you’re a fan of romance with a dash of family drama, this book is definitely worth the read.
This was a fun book, and I really appreciated the opportunity to read it! I will recommend this book.
I loved the romance! they understood each and could be themselves together. The chemistry between them was amazing! I also loved the slow-burn and the sexual tension between the main characters. There were several scenes that made me blush and smile so much. The writing is beautiful and descriptive. I honestly felt like I was living in the world with the characters. I felt so many emotions while reading this book, I cried, I laughed and I smiled. This book will stay in my heart for a long time.
I always like Christina Lauren's books and this one is no different. The characters are entertaining and the conclusion is satisfying.
Christina Lauren is truly an engaging romance writer. I love the dynamics between the main characters as well as Lauren's signature comedic interactions. For someone who needs a summer read, this is the book.
