Christina Lauren's 'Paradise Problem' is an absolute delight, weaving a captivating tale of love, self-discovery, and unexpected adventures. The authors masterfully blend humor and heart, creating a story that keeps you hooked from the first page to the last. The characters are vibrant and relatable, making it easy to get lost in their world. With its witty dialogue and charming narrative, 'Paradise Problem' is a feel-good read that leaves you with a warm, satisfied glow.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a romance that kept me up till 2 am and this one was it! I loved loved the angst and tension between these characters!
Most of the story takes place in a private island. It centers around Anna Green and Liam/ West Weston who get married during college to take advantage of family housing. But then find themselves having to fake their marriage so Liam can have access to his inheritance.
I liked that this wasn’t just a Rom-Com but also had alot of side characters some you loved and some you absolutely hated.
The FMC Anna had me laughing so hard at her one liners. And West Weston….. please read about him for yourself! It’s a true rom-com. Easy, FUNNY, and a quick read. It also gave Crazy Rich Asians / Pretty Woman vibes.
The reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were some parts where details were being explained that felt a little long. But still a great read.

Christina Lauren books never fail to be a fast , fun read for me! I zoomed through this one, fell in love with a few of the characters and overall enjoyed the experience. I will say that it was not my favorite of their books, and the storyline with the privileged billionaires and the theme surrounding the haves and the have nots left me frustrated. I could tell they were trying to have an element of social commentary on the current state of a few people having so much while the majority can’t even afford to pay bills but I feel like it missed the mark. Mainly because the love interest is part of the problem, and doesn’t change. He still gets his HEA & is a happy little billionaire and that gave me the ick so I had a hard time looking past that. If you’re a huge fan, I still think you’ll enjoy the book but all in all this was a miss for me as a longtime reader of CL books.

Utterly and completely loved Chistina Laruen's newest. Liam is just a totally unforgettable character and I was so sad when the book was over and I had to return to the real world. Bravo!

I loved this one! Would def watch if it was a movie! I loved the FMC Anna so much and also Liam was amazing too.

I loved everything about this book. It is quite possibly my favorite Lauren novel, The novel was predictable in some ways (the relationship between West and Anna), but at the same time it had a mysterious element when it came to the family and what would happen with his inheritence. The characters were funny and honestly made me feel like poeple I've known before. Love it!!

Anytime I read a book by this author(s) it goes by too quick. The way you become attached to the characters and the storyline is really incredible. You can't help but become attached to the story, and watching it unfold in front of you is just a wonderful time while reading. The characters grow throughout the story, they really are a delight! This was such an enjoyable read and would recommend to anyone who wants a good story, a great cast of characters, and just a good book!
Thanks to NetGalley and Edelweiss for the ARCs!

Such a sweet, fun read! Christina Lauren’s books always bring a smile to my face and make me laugh out loud. The Paradise Problem is no different AND tucks some thought-provoking issues about money, power, and family in well. Enjoy!

Christina Lauren books tend to not hit for me and this was no different. Could be in my mind but I feel like you can tell this was written by 2 people.

This novel was the BEST! It's the perfect Spring/Summer read and you won't be able to put it down. I find sometimes Christina Lauran can be hit or miss and this is definitely a HIT. I loved Anna and West. I loved the bougee family and excess and contrast between the haves and have-nots. I loved the chemistry - this slow burn was the best! Great character development and a conclusion that tied everything up in a way that didn't feel hurried. Would love to see a spin-off on Jake. I'll sign up for it now!

An extremely fun romance read! I love that the author created a character that did not fall into stereotypical beauty standards with bright pink hair instead of the usual brown or blonde. It was cute and very entertaining.

I really, really loved this book. A fake marriage to fulfill the terms of a will worth hundreds of millions of dollars but only one partner knows the marriage is still effect. She thinks she signed divorce papers. The marriage only needs to last five years to inherit and the groom needs his "wife" for ten days on a private island to convince his snooty rich family that their marriage is real. It was such a fun story and I loved the way their relationship development organically.

Wow wow wow, it’s past 1am and I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the very end. This is everything we love in a romcom. The banter, yes. One bed, YES. Fake dating and forced proximity, yes and yes. Yall nailed it this will be the beach read of 2024. I loved it so much. Bravo Christina Lauren, thank you for allowing me to read the arc

I absolutely adored this book. Wow! I thought that all of the characters were soooo thoughtfully portrayed. I would have loved more Blair’s quips. I wish that we got to experience Anna’s shopping trip with ViVi, that would have been so fun.
The plot was great. So much detail; I felt like I was on this island. I laughed out loud several times.

This concept is a little bit harebrained to me. Marriage clauses in inheritances? AND marrying just to live in an off-campus house? Very, very ridiculous. What is also too cliché for moi is the artsy, weird girl and the strong, silent, serious man. Ooh opposites attract. Probs not! Overdone! Thus, meh to all those aforementioned things.
I will say, however, the couple's chemistry is palpable—even on page. This book is steamy too! I love Anna’s sense of humor. She made me laugh out loud several times. I found her to be very relatable and likable. This romcom had lots of family and business drama. It kept me engaged. So, it has a little bit of everything for the readers. Epilogue too long. Overall, a fine read! 3.5 stars rounded down.

I loved the FMC Anna Green. She's the right amount of chaotic and free spirited and she had me cracking up the entire book. Despite being a little chaotic, she was grounded in her morals and values and I think that's what made this book so enjoyable.
The MMC West aka Liam was completely put together and a bit more rigid. However, he also was also very grounded in his morals and values so watching their love story blossom was really sweet.
The plot and overall experience was enjoyable. There were a lot of moment where I was giggling and kicking my feet. Overall, the ending was satisfying and I appreciated the epilogues because it tied up any long standing questions.
Hypothetically, if Anna and Liam were to appear in a sequel I'd be THRILLED to 'see' them again.

Oh a Christina Lauren book never misses. At first I was a little hesitant because the FMC tries a little too hard to be relatable but in the end I did find her endearing. I loved the backdrop of paradise and unveiling the inner secrets of the MMC family along with him. It was a perfect summer vacation read.

Anna is having in the middle of wallowing after losing her job when her sexy ex husband shows up at her door unexpectedly. Apparently they’re still married and he asks her to attend a family wedding with him and pretend they have been together for the past 5 years. What ensues is a wild ride of crazy family, sticky situations, and a relationship that quickly moves from friendship to mutual desire, and maybe something more. Funny, sweet, and very hot.

The review I put in Goodreads and Instagram is below. I also shared feedback in my book club. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to read this ARC!
The squeal I squealt (it’s a word) when this ARC dropped into my inbox from NetGalley… so I’m probably a little biased in my review. Christina Lauren can always be counted on for a witty, page turning romcom. The epitome of escapism. The fake dating trope of this one was no different and I gladly woke up before the rest of my house for silence while I devoured it as quickly as I could. Loved it!

I found this book to be very disappointing. The storyline was unbelievable and the plot had some holes in it. It just was not for me.
