A fantastic new book by Christina Lauren! The descriptions of lush and luxurious clothing, island living, and food made me feel like I was there, and so did the descriptions of apartments and gas stations! A little bit of everything. A really, really enjoyable read. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Wow, this book had me hooked from the beginning. I was very thankful the crush in this book wasn’t her awful manager at the gas station but in fact her husband. I read this book cover to cover to find out if Anna Green stayed Anna Weston.

This was one of those books that I didn’t want to put down. The storyline immediately has you hooked. I loved how all scenes are vividly described and it makes you feel like you are right there in the story with the characters. I’ve read a few books by Christina Lauren and this one did not disappoint. I loved the banter between characters. This is a book I would definitely recommend!

Another hit by this dynamic duo!

The fake dating trope will always be a hit for me. This book made me laugh out loud multiple times. The witty banter was perfect.
The main characters had perfect chemistry.
Is this book anything new and different in the romance genre? No. But why mess with a good thing.
This will be a perfect summer read!

3.5 stars. This was such a cute story and I liked the premise. Trouble in paradise, a pretty woman theme and family drama. It was a fun and easy read but there was something lacking in Anna’s character. I laughed that Liam’s description of her included a muppet type style. As much as a wild card that Anna was supposed to be, there was something missing. I didn’t quite catch the magic between the 2 characters but it still seemed to work. I wish we could have had more David Green (Anna’s father) in the story because he was such a strong support and we could all use his love advice. The epilogue was way too long for this story. Thank you for the ARC! I will continue to always want to read the authors books!

This book started off feeling like every other fake dating rom com and took a bit to get into, but once we started meeting the Weston family things got interesting. The family dynamics were bananas and made things fun. I enjoyed the chemistry between Anna & Liam, and the satisfying conclusion. The slow starter prevents me from giving it a full five stars.

I understand that CLo has lovely friends and families that they want to spend time with, but honestly I'm not getting new reads from them anywhere NEAR fast enough to satisfy my obsession. The Paradise Problem was another hit for me, with more characters I fell in love with instantly. It had every element of a CLo book I need - family drama, steamy romance, and tons of fun. Thank you for this early read, PLEASE CLO KEEP WRITING!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren. Christina Lauren does it again. I have loved every book they have written, and this novel is no different! Full of romance and great characters - I also loved the plot! I can't wait for what's next.

I’ve always found the books by Christina Lauren great, but his book was such a fantastic read. It’s definitely one of my favorites they’ve wrote.

Anna is hilarious, relatable, and a character you root for the entire book. I found myself laughing at the things she’s said throughout the story. Liam is a character you want to find his happiness because of how messed up and toxic his family is. I find that the location of the book sounds so dream.

This book I would recommend as a great summer read for people who love a good romance, money involved relationship, and some twist and turns. It doesn’t take long to get into the storyline and you are turning pages quickly to continue to find out how it turns out.

Fabulous romantic novel with a fake marriage trope and sexy love story! I enjoyed the ways the characters showed their growth and their love story. The rich people storyline was over the top, but I think they portrayed the evil rich dad intentionally to make you sympathetic to Liam/West. Anna was hilarious and her observations and commentary made me
laugh out loud! Sexy love scenes and love story made me stay up late reading. Loved the Anna & West chemistry and their relationship.

This was my first Christina Lauren book which seems like a crime. I’m going to have to read others now because I loved this book a LOT.
Why you should read this book:
Fake dating
Great main and side characters: some loveable, some very hateable!
Main characters had great chemistry, banter, and steamy relationship
Beautiful setting was perfect to dream about while I’m stuck in a very cold, gray Ohio winter

A couple of very small cons:
The premise was quite unbelievable, but I don’t think that took anything away from my enjoyment of the story
The epilogue was too long

Thank you for the ARC!

Christina Lauren has done it again! This book is perfection! It combines the tale of two polar opposites, complicated family dynamics and hot and steamy romance! Anna and Liam quickly became two of my favorite characters of all time! Christina does a beautiful job of describing the tropical paradise and characters in the story in such a way that you can clearly imagine all that is happening. You will not be disappointed reading this one!

This book was utterly adorable. I will always love Christian Lauren’s writing especially when it’s in a tropical setting.

A quick non-spoiler synopsis: Liam West and Anna Green get legally married on paper in college to get cheaper rent. After parting ways after barely speaking as roommates, the two meet again when Liam is in a bit of a predicament. Due to the lack of Anna reading the contract, she failed to realize that Liam was still acting as if they were married, and needed her to pull off one final scheme to fool his family that he was indeed married. Simple right? All she had to do was go to his sister's wedding, and Liam would pay her a fat wad of cash.

This book had some of my favorite tropes: fake daring, forced proximity, daddy AND mommy issues, and a fear of commitment. Anna was just the best character ever, being unproblematically herself and showing that no matter how little you have, it’s possible to be happy.

The chemistry between Liam and Anna was really great, and the banter in this book was amazing. I loved the aspect of siblings, parent relationships, and all the hot steamy little moments that make the line of fake dating seem blurry.

My one complaint was the ending seemed pretty rushed, with everything resolving fairly quickly. I think it actually would have been fun to break up the epilogue into a couple of chapters, because it had a lot of good stuff!

Overall, this book comes out May 14th, and you should definitely check it out!! Another Christina Lauren hit for me!

I love Christina Lauren’s books because their characters’ emotional arcs always feel complex, nuanced, and real, and the journeys of Anna and Liam are no different! I love books where both characters need to grow into themselves before they can grow together, and I gobbled up every second of this one. The Paradise Problem is comfort reading; I know I’m going to get my HEA from page 1, but I keep coming back to find out exactly how it’s gong to happen!

Anna hasn't seen her husband in 3 years. They married 5 years ago to qualify for cheap, family housing in college and haven't seen each other since they both graduated and moved on with their lives. Anna assumed the papers she had signed at the time were for a divorce but it turns out they weren't. Now Liam needs Anna to accompany him to a family wedding to prove their marriage is valid to maintain his inheritance.
During their time on the secluded island for the wedding, Anna gets an inside look at the disfunction and awfulness of Liam's family which made the whole charade necessary. In the end will Liam choose love or money?
This was a fun, light read for a cold winter day. Beautiful location, family drama, and plenty of steam and chemistry.

Thanks to NetGalley for my gifted copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
The Paradise Problem is classic Christine Lauren… fun banter, fun characters, and a wonderful HEA. This book follows West and Anna. Originally a marriage of convenience to get cheaper student housing, the reconnect after a couple years when Wests sister is getting married and his family didn’t know his marriage was a sham. Hijinks ensue and there’s a lot for West to unpack from his family dynamics. Fun and easy read! Got me through a snow storm and was finished in 24 hours!

Maybe like a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ star situation, but I love Christina Lauren so much that I will always bump it up.

This was an ARC exchanged for an honest review via NetGalley and Simon & Schuester. This is one of my favorite romcoms that Christina Lauren has done lately! I think the biggest seller for me was how much the main two reminded me in bits and pieces of Josh and Hazel, who are the absolute loves of my life.

I really enjoyed watching West and Anna fall in love through this story. His family was frustrating, but in ways that were handled really well. It was gentle, and funny, and spicy, and it felt incredibly authentic.

Thank you SO much for this advanced copy!

This was a great, quick read. I liked the development of the relationship between Anna and West (Liam) who married in college just to get family housing and are reunited years later when he needs a huge favor. It was a great book to curl up with on a chilly weekend

I really do like this author duo, have read a lot of their back-list & I did enjoy their latest release, "The Paradise Problem" quite a bit - a really fun "marriage of convenience" trope with a tropical destination wedding throw in! Sure, I was down for that - FUN!! My only real issue with this one, is that the "spice" level was just a bit too HOT for my own personal taste - I'm not an erotica fan, and if I want to read that stuff, I do know where to find it - so I just skipped/skimmed those particular scenes. So, guess that's maybe a T.W. to others who might need it. Will still be interested in their next release! My sincere thanks to N.G., et al. for providing an electronic review copy to review.
