Thank you to NetGalley for providing this ARC.
I enjoy playing wordle every day, so I was excited to try this new spin on wordle. It took me a hot second to get into the groove of the on paper wordle formatting. Very fun!
This would be such a wonderful stocking stuffer or boredom buster on long trips! I appreciated the different skill level pages and it would be a winner for anyone who loves puzzles/word games/ or something fun to pass the time.
Wordle Tumble gives a fun, unique twist to the popular word game, making this the perfect book for any puzzle enthusiasts. When reading the initial instructions, it seemed confusing but soon became clear when trying out the actual puzzle. The book has puzzles ranging from easy to expert, allowing you to build up to a higher difficulty as you get used to the new rules, and helpfully contains the answers at the end so you can make sure you're on the right track.
An engaging puzzle selection that would make a great gift for any Wordle fans in your life! Thanks to Netgalley and Ivy Press for the opportunity to read and review such a fun book.
I really enjoyed the format and ease of this. If the released version is on kindle scribe then being to write the answers directly on would be fantastic.
What a fun twist to the famous online game. I love word puzzles to do when I want to curl up on the couch and relax and this would be perfect. I'll consider getting the paper version when it gets published as I expect it to be a perfect night time pastime.
This book has a unique twist on the game, as one puzzle gives a clue for the next one. I found that really nice and fun. There is a bit of a learning curve, but after a couple of puzzles you'll just have fun playing.

I used to play Wordle online all of the time, until I kind of forgot about it. It was definitely a unique experience to play this with “pen and paper” instead of the online versions. The space to mark your guesses and the clues definitely make it a bit easier, otherwise it could easily get frustrating.
Here you get about 200 puzzles, three different difficulty levels. This is once again a reminder on how many five letter words there are in the English language. 😅
I definitely enjoyed this and definitely felt challenged by some of the puzzles. I’d say that I still prefer the online version, but this was fun as well, I’d definitely would recommend this to lovers of all kinds of puzzle games who want to have a break from the screen for a while.
Thank you NetGalley and Ivy Press for this gifted copy, I was under no obligation to review, all opinions are my own.
As an avid Wordle player (and a fan of all word puzzles), I was pleasantly surprised to see how it translated to pen and paper.. It helps that there are clues and space for players to mark out their letters, which helps players move from the online game to this analog version.
There’s a bit of a learning curve with playing these puzzles, since it’s a different strategy from playing on your own. I prefer the creativity in playing the online version, but this was still enjoyable. I feel as if this would make a great gift for any Wordle fanatic, and I could see myself doing this on a road trip.
#I would like to thank NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to review this book. I love wordle and this is brilliant.
A fun, challenging and exciting collection of word puzzles that I would recommend to anyone who loves word games.
Thanks Netgalley. I racked my brain a bit attempting these.
Oh my Word-le! Wordle is one of the popular puzzles in the latest days. From the online version and now to the black and white printed version. Sweet enough a printed keyboard is provided next to the riddle. You just need a pen - lots of fun.
Three levels - easy, medium and expert. For sure with solutions provided.
I’m sure you will also be amazed by how many of 5-letter words there are in English!
An excellent take on Wordle. If you enjoy playing that, or other word puzzles, you’ll love this book. It has 100 puzzles at three different levels (all answers at the back of the book).
Definitely recommend a hard copy rather than e-version which doesn’t work quite so well as it’s not interactive (at least not in the format I used).
Great gift for word puzzle enthusiasts.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Who doesn't like Wordle? The game saved us during the pandemic and just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Wordle Tumble proved me wrong. I quite enjoy fun takes on popular games, and with the design of increasing difficulty levels, this book makes for a nice brain teaser. I loved it and would absolutely recommend it as a gift!
This puzzle book is for those that love Wordle or word games in general.
There are 200 puzzles total (75 easy, 75 medium, and 50 expert) with increasing difficulty and length in each level. The rules take some getting used to but it becomes easy to remember once you figure it out. Each word comes with a letter bank that you can cross off and circle as you figure out which letters belong and which do not. This type puzzle book is not one I’ve seen before and it’s going to keep your brain stimulated with new concepts. It’s obviously a lot more complicated to do the puzzles on a digital book so I would recommend buying a physical copy of this one.
This is the perfect puzzle game for those who went through the online Wordle phase, back when the game became popular. It’s nice to have a version of wordle that gives a break from all the screen time. This game also offers a unique spin on the game, as one round leads to a clue for the next puzzle.
