I love the different crochet patterns in this book and I think that all of the patterns are really simple to read and understand. I can't wait to start making some of my won little creatures!

This book contains descriptions of different levels, which is amazing so people know what they can do and not considering their skill level. At the beginning, there are also instructions how to read the book and abbreviations with examples. Although I already know what they mean, it is always appreciated and not everyone knows what these abbreviations mean. No onto the actual tutorials, there are many pictures so you can check your work with the picture if you did it correctly. I have not done many Amigurumi's now, so this is very helpful because I am not very skilled yet. But I think this book has some amigurumi's for everyone and it is easy to understand. So, i totally recommend this if you want to crochet very very cute Amigurumi's. Besides, they all have names which is just adorable.

First of all Khuc Cay is a big name in the design world of crochet dolls. And got chance to get my hand on her newest pattern book is such a delight.

The author give well written pattern from 15 super cute animals and mermaid to make us busy. It really cute, clean design and will make us difficult to choose which one to make first. At least that what's happening to me. Maybe you will ask what make her design stand out and make worth our money? Because she gave personality to each her design. Crochet dolls are about personal touches. Several marker can make different result dolls from same patterns but her pattern will make sure the result similar enough with her picture illustrated.

From all 15 my personal favourite are Boar and Skunk. I would love to make them soon and recommend this lovely book with my fellow amigurumi community.

Amigurumi is a newer example of crochet's versatility. These patterns include pictures and detailed, easy to follow, instructions to insure excellent results from any level of crochet master. It would also make an excellent gift to that person you know who loves crochet.

Very cute and some unique critters. I especially like the clothing. I have been crocheting for a while but still appreciate pictures to make sure I'm on track. I'm left-handed, but I'm accustomed to having to flip the pics in my brain. If you aren't familiar with crocheting lefty in a righty world, these pictures probably aren't very helpful. I also wish there were more pictures of the small object color changes, such as the fish fins.

These little guys are sooo adorable! As an avid crocheter, I am so excited to be able to make some of these! The little details are really what make them so special!

One of my favourite crochet instruction guides! There are 15 animal amigurumi patterns, all with step-by-step, coloured photos and instructions. There are pictures for every step to visually see what you're doing, as well as written steps to read and follow along. The steps are written in a simple enough way for even ambitious beginners to successfully make their crochet items. The book guides you through the materials (including yarn brands and colours), all the different body parts and clothes/accessories, and even the assembly with a photo for nearly every single step. It's straightforward to follow along, though it could be improved if crochet charts had also been included to visualise where to stitch what (if one doesn't want to read the steps/abbreviations). I 100% recommend it!

Adorable and easy to understand! The beginning of the book offers a ton of instructions on the types of stitches used and the needed techniques. All the patterns have creatures with personality and aren’t generic. I cannot wait to start in Remy the Ostrich.

This book is excellent. As a beginner/intermediate crocheter, the pictures are extremely well done. It would be easy for a beginner to follow along, as the patterns are written well with simple yet well detailed instructions. The animals are adorable, as well their accessories like the clothes. The patterns included in this book are ones I haven’t seen before, like a skunk and a fish. Would be a great book for patterns to use for children gifts.

Super cute! High recommend as this book is full of animals that aren’t routinely transformed into amigurumi and those that are are delightfully unique! Each with their own vibrant personality that comes with matching accessories!

My favorite thing? The ladybird is actually a little fell complete with a mustache!!!

Adorable designs. This book has a very complete how to with good instructions and images at the start. Still, not for the beginner. You should have the basics down before giving these a try. Each pattern has really good instructions and also more progress photos then many books share, which is really helpful, allowing you to check along the way that all is correct.

This in a great amigurumi book for beginners and experienced crocheters alike. The stitch tutorial in the beginning is very easy to follow. The reference photos are clear and close enough to see how to create the stitch and what the finished stitches will look like.

I found all of the projects to be so cute! I especially liked Michael the Ladybug and Sakura the Mermaid. My niece has already asked me to make Sakura in all of the colors of the rainbow.. I really appreciate the step-by-step photos to help understand how to sew pieces together when needed. The project photos are well lit and the backgrounds are aesthetically pleasing without taking away from the beautiful colors of each little animal.

This is a well setup book that starts with the basics and moves you through to the more advanced techniques like a magic circle. It also clearly explains how to do each stitch with some handy photos. As someone who is very much afraid to learn to crochet because it feels like math - and I am not good at math and a little afraid of it - the introduction struck a balance for someone who is starting out and someone who may know enough to be able to take on the patterns without really needing a refresher. I did appreciate that it showed other techniques like how to sew things together in a lot of detail.

Most of the patterns in this book were really cute and easy to follow, and I appreciated that they each had a difficulty rating as well as some clear information on the hook to use, etc. I would be very nervous to try and figure out the weight of yarn, etc. that I would need starting out. Of the patterns, some weren't ones that I would personally want to do, but they were few and far between. The anglerfish was by far my favourite - Onni came in a close second - and I am looking forward to figuring out crochet in order to buy the book and embark upon some new (fibre) crafting adventures.

Great patterns to follow for beginners and advanced crochets alike. Had a great time with this one! Some incredible patterns.

I cannot stress how adorable these patterns are. It's not just the amigurumis, which are fabulous and too cute, but also the little accessories for each creation that really make this book worth it. I think Khuc Cay's book of amigurumi patterns goes above and beyond most others I've seen. You'll be able to create the most precious gifts for love ones or even something cute for yourself. I'm obsessed with how whimsical and wonderful I found these creations. The title of this book is not an over exaggeration at all. I can't wait to get this book for my sister who will have so much fun trying the patterns out!

As I've said, there is a really great range of options to try out in this book! I found the patterns to be very detailed and thoroughly written out. The accompanying pictures clearly demonstrate what needs to be done. Also, things like techniques and terminology are explained very well. I think this will be a helpful tutorial to people who are beginners and willing to practice, but just make sure you read each step. Everything is explained very well, so it's important to take your time and don't get overwhelmed. If that is something you're excited to do, I absolutely recommend you give crocheting amigurumis a try with this book. I also love how much I think anyone with experience will love this book as well. These creations will bring you so much joy because of how cute they are and they, along with their accessories, will help grow your crochet skills!

This book is making me hopeful again. I love Amigurumi but never understood how to do it. It explains well (I am a beginner) the supplies and the terms. Also, it has photos step by step with the main techniques, then it presents us in the next chapters the recipes for 15 awesome characters. This is one I am looking forward to collecting the physical copy as well.

Received this as an ARC as a kindle download, however, as the time of this review, the file is not formatted perfectly for kindle, which makes some of the lines harder to follow in the patterns, and some characters and images do not show up correctly.

Good photo illustrations and step by step explanations of techniques and patterns; including types of stitches, detailing, joins, etc.
it appears that all of the the patterns are labeled as “difficult” however, so do seem less complicated than others (mushroom vs skunk for example)

The patterns included are incredibly cute and detailed.

Great in depth instructions and the patterns were easy to follow. A wonderful set of creations for the beginner as well as for the advanced. The additional clothing items were too cute to pass up.

Just picked up my first hobby of the new year, you'll hear from me when it won't come out as in these pictures after the first try.
I already know my ADHD will make me restart this challenge at least a dozen times, but with these explanations and pictures, I really don't see how I can fail.
