A fast-paced mystery with less than likable characters, especially Jack. Eww, Jack. It was strange Zoe and Jack shared a house even while divorced. The mystery is decent and there is plenty of action.
If you are looking for an easy mystery read coupled with action—this is it.
If you are looking, as advertised in the blurb, for a read like Vicky Bliss, just reread Bliss. Ahh, Sir John Smythe, now what is an unreliable hero I can support.
