Doesn't mention statins--a primary tool to prevent heart disease, which is the leading cause of death.
It’s a lot of information. Great information… but a lot nonetheless. This is a book I definitely need a hard copy of, not an ebook. I would use as a reference guide, refer back to often. It’s in plain language that I found easy to understand. Some of it we all know but it’s great to know the why.
I think more helpful tips or laid out plans would have made this a 5 star for me. I really like the walking/jogging guide & the increasing fiber guide. More of those quick reference items would be amazing.
This book provides a helpful overview of common health issues as we age, as well as suggestions for living better. I appreciated the combination of health information and checklists to assess mental and physical health. Good overview for positive aging.
