I loved this collection of short stories. I am familiar with all of these authors and have enjoyed previous books by them. I loved the short story format as it was easy to read just one at a time.

My favorite was Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez.

I enjoyed all of them- it was fun to see what the authors would do with the short form.

Thanks to the publisher for sharing these with me. All opinions are my own.

I don't typically read novellas because its hard to feel connected to the characters, but all of these authors are incredible at making you feel connected to the stories even with a short story. These stories made me smile and swoon and they were a perfect quick read.

This was such a fun read! Of course the knockout, for me, was Abby Jimenez. I also read works by several authors I hadn’t read before which is what’s nice about this type of collection.

These were great short stories. I especially loved Christina Lauren and Abby Jimenez's stories. They were short but still made me swoon like their other full length books.

Short rom-coms written by some of my favorite authors?

Yes please.

These were all a delight. It was so fun to see what these authors could do in a 50-100 page story.

Of course Christina Lauren, Abby Jimenez and Jasmine Guillory wrote my favorites.

Each of these novellas are spectacular, but combining all six into a huge romantic, gooey mess of a bundle?! What a true gift to readers!

I thought 2 out of the 6 short stories were amazing! Abby Jimenez and Christina Lauren's novellas I thoroughly enjoyed. The others, however, I did not enjoy as much.

The Exception to the Rule by Christina Lauren: How is this the best thing that Christina Lauren has ever written? Why did I cry at the end of this novella? Probably had to do with the You’ve Got Mail coded story. I loved this 30 min of my life while reading this.

Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez: I would read this woman’s grocery list and give it 5 stars.

Rosie and the Dreamboat by Sally Thorne: This was a goofy meet-cute. entertaining, but cheesy!

Drop, Cover, and Hold on by Jasmine Guillory: Wake me up when it’s over.

With Any Luck by Ashley Poston: This story was unremarkable.

Royal Valentine by Saliah Wilson: This one was somewhat better, but overused storyline.

These books were all so much fun! I loved how they were all slightly connected if you read them in order but complete novella stand alones! My favorite was Rosie and The Dreamboat!

I didn’t love all of the books in this grouping, but they were great pallet cleaners! Funny and full of quipped dialogue.

These were so much fun. My favorite was Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez. My only complaint for all of them is that I wish they were longer!

Some of these books were a hit but other ones just seemed rushed and I know it’s short stories but there is a way to build up chemistry in a short period of time but some of these stories didn’t have that written in spark that I was hoping for.

This was absolutely the cutest group of stories. You start out with Christina Lauren and by the end of the story you're screaming to yourself, "NOO, why did this end so soon!" I could have easily read an entire novel, but appreciate the fact that this collection starts off with such a bang. Each of the stories that follow have their own sweetness that makes you feel all warm and happy inside. A quick read that lets each author shine.

Love all of these authors, so it was great to get some but sized stories while waiting for their next full length book!
Abby Jimenez’s story was my favorite but I really enjoyed all of them and look forward to their next book!

Such a cute and refreshing collection of Valentine Meet-Cutes! I think my two favorites of the bunch had to be Rosie and the Dreamboat and Drop, Cover, and Hold On. All six were pretty mild in the spice area so if you want romance but nothing too NSFW then these should be a good fit! The only one you may pass on would be Drop, Cover, and Hold On as it was a little more risqué than the others. Not that I’m complaining over here!

Kinda hard to review them all at once but I laugh, I swooned & I even cried. This collection of Valentine’s Day rom coms was perfect. All star line up. Audiobooks were great too if you get a chance to read them.

1 world, 6 unlikely encounters, February 14th, 2024 and romance is everywhere.

A collection of short stories that are perfect for when you just need that quick hit of fun and falling in love.

I only wish they all had epilogues.
I LOVE the easter egg connections between stories! (So impressed with doing that among 6 different authors!)
Almost all are clean or closed door.
What a great way to meet new-to-me authors!

The Exception to the Rule by Christina Lauren
This story gave the comedy and spice I come to expect from this author duo! Christina Lauren is an auto-buy author for me and this story was no exception! The meet-cute for this couple is the one that tech nerds dream of when we’re off in our coding universe and we get to know someone by chance from behind a screen. Their story covered the awkward years of leaving for college and the emotions behind it, the struggles that we all lived through during the Covid pandemic, and a chance meeting that any romantic would be happy to experience. Loved this story and the back and forth of their email exchanges!

Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez
Abby is an auto-buy author for me and this story did not disappoint! My grandmother recently passed away after a long, drawn out home hospice care situation so this started out hard for me to read but knowing how Abby carefully approaches difficult situations I knew the story would be written well. I loved that they found each other in multiple ways, and grandma’s confession made my jaw drop!

Rosie and the Dreamboat by Sally Thorne
My husband frequents float tanks. I have never been for multiple reasons, one of which was articulated in this story! This was laugh out loud funny, a hilarious and heart wrenching experience between Rosie and her hero. When she confessed her fears under the protection of the float tank trap my heart broke for her but you could tell it was therapeutic for her to get that off her chest. Loved this story!

Drop, Cover, and Hold on by Jasmine Guillory
I love that I can count on Jasmine Guillory to write about real women who actually eat! The fact that this story centered around routine visits to a bakery made it even better. Love that these two found each other through their love of baked goods and were forced to face their feelings!

With Any Luck by Ashley Poston
I love a good “figure out what happened last night” storyline. This one was no exception! When your best friend gets married it’s always bittersweet, they have someone else now that they confide in more than you. When you can find your soulmate through the BFF of the one that you love loves, it has to be meant to be. Great story!

Royal Valentine by Sariah Wilson
Royal stories aren’t always my favorite (I prefer when I can relate to the characters), but I did enjoy this one! I did not see coming that he was royal as well and enjoyed seeing them fall for each other.
