My thoughts: I love Suzanne Woods Fisher's books, and this was no different. All our favorite characters from Cape Code were there, and we got the lastest news on the Dixon family. I enjoyed revisiting with the characters and getting to know Bear, I liked him though he truly was a bear, Dawn got on my nerves a bit she a my way, no highway option type and she and her husband butted heads often. I loved the way that the Dixons (including honorary members) worked
together to solve problems and I wanted to throttle Linc's ex-wife. I am looking forward to more in this series (Yes, Ms. Fisher? Please?) Highly recommended. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.

Suzanne Woods Fisher always leaves me feeling contented after reading her books. I felt Love on a Whim deserved five plus stars. I appreciate that the Author introduces her characters before the story starts. This book grabbed me into the story and I felt myself bonding with the characters as I turned the pages. I haven’t read the other books in the series yet but I enjoyed this one so much that I will definitely be reading Book one and Book Two. One of the main points in this novel is the importance of forgiveness and listening to your heart. This book goes on my shelf of favorites.

I recommend Love on a Whim to readers of Women’s Fiction, clean read fiction and to fans of the author. I read it as a standalone but feel if I had read the other books in the series I would have felt more at home with the characters. This book is scheduled to be released on 5/7/24.

I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions expressed here in this review are entirely my own.

Another wonderful addition to the Cape Cod Creamery series by Suzanne Woods Fisher. Book 3 and I'm still in love with this series. Clean, warms your heart stories.

Love on a Whim has a few unexpected twists and turns. Brynn impulsively marries a man after knowing him for only 24 hours. She wakes up the next morning and realizes she's scared because she's not normally such an impulsive person. She runs to her best friend in Cape Cod and chaos ensues as she gets sucked in to Lincoln's daughter's family wedding. Who really is his son Bear and why is he so mean? As the story goes along, there's healing and mending, as only God can orchestrate.

I am becoming a huge Suzanne Woods Fisher fan. I loved this whole series - this is the 3rd and final book of Cape Cod Creamery series.

Thank you to Revell Fiction for an ARC copy of this book.

This is a great series of 2 cousin and a friend - whose worlds went splat and they had to make a major course correction.

This book is Brynn - who marries on a whim in Vegas then takes off the next morning. Then - has to reconcile why she made that decision. It also includes the original characters plot and where they are at now and their choices.

Great read and I highly recommend

This is book #3 of the Cape Code Creamery series. I suggest reading book one and two, just because they are heartwarming, fun stories, however, each of the books in this series can be read as a standalone. I am never disappointed when I read one of Suzanne Woods Fisher’s books. They are clean, heartfelt and have loveable characters.
From the very first page, I was hooked on this compelling, fascinating story. Brynn and Dawn have been friends since their first year of college. Now well over ten years later, Dawn, is married, gave up her successful career as a CPA and owns an ice cream store with her mother in Cape Cod. Brynn is a civil engineer, living in Boston.
Brynn is returning from a conference in Las Vegas, where she made the most humiliating, and impetuous decision of her life. Both Brynn and Dawn were known as the Sensible Sisters. They never did anything irresponsible or crazy. From the airport, Brynn calls Dawn and fills her in on what happened in Las Vegas. When Dawn hears Brynn’s tale of woe, she convinces her to change her ticket and fly to Cape Cod and stay with her family for a few days to recover. Brynn does not have a close family and has spent lots of time with the Dixon family over the years.
With the summer season, upon them, the ice cream store is crazy busy, so Brynn agrees to help Marnie, Dawn’s mother in the store. She also volunteers to help Callie a professional chef who has been called upon at the last minute to cater a huge, elaborate, over-the-top wedding. Brynn loves to bake and has experience making wedding cakes, so she offers to make the cake.
This is a fast-paced, fascinating story with many ups and downs and unexpected situations. Brynn’s party to her most impetuous decision she ever made ends up in Cape Cod too. The run-in is most unexpected. To avoid any other unfortunate encounters, Brynn loses herself in wedding cake batter and experimental cakes until it is perfect. When she finally has to face the consequence of the choice she made, Brynn seeks guidance through prayer.
Once I started reading this delightful, fascinating story, I could not put it down and read it all in one day.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All comments and opinions are my own.

A delightful story with a huge reminder of God's love and compassion towards us. The characters are so real to life and I could see them in people around me. An inspiration.

What an awesome conclusion to this trilogy!

Readers are brought back to Cape Cod, to visit with old friends from books one and two. Brynn Haywood, Dawn's best friend, flees to the Creamery after an impulsive marriage to a guy she'd known less than twenty-four hours.

As the story unfolds, memorable characters revisit (such as Nanette and Cowboy Leo) as Brynn finds refuge in helping Marnie at the ice cream shop. Of course, Marnie and Dawn have advice for the impulsive, runaway bride which brings some interesting conflicts. But just when Brynn seems to have found a quiet place to figure out all the whys of her life, Linc's estranged family comes to the Cape to celebrate his daughter's wedding. And...adds more drama.

There's so much to like about this story and Suzanne Woods Fisher keeps the momentum going right from page one. Interesting twists are thrown in significant places, keeping the reader engaged with this light, but faith-filled read. Not all is as it seems!

Characters we've visited in the past are given enough page time for readers to feel that they've "caught up" with the latest news. And some fun new characters add colour, and conflict, to Brynn's story. A mother-of-the-bride-zilla, an angry son and a missing groom make for a fun conclusion to a great trilogy.

I especially loved the epilogue - more loose ends neatly tied up that will leave you smiling at the end.

Love on a Whim. The third and (final?) book in the Cape Cod Creamery series. Here we get the third gal of the story--Brynn. and wow. One thing about these books--they always start off with a bang! Each of the three books immediately start you with a major problem that the character is thrust into.

Dawn--she was a jilted bride
Callie--she had just dealt with a massive food poisoning event
Marnie--she was diagnosed with cancer and had lost her husband

And Brynn...she gets married in VEGAS on a whim and then runs away! Wowzer!

Honestly I love books that just drop us right into the major conflict issue. LOL. Exciting from the start.
As with the other books, we still get the inner mind of Dawn and Marnie along for the ride with Brynn. Because they aren't done with their stories yet.

and Bear Hayes. Poor Bear Hayes. So much childhood trauma that is shaping his adult life choices. I think that people will totally identify with SOMEONE in this series. Some of the book is predictable (like Bear and TD), but then things morph in new directions. (emotional Dawn!)

So much of the main theme of these books has simply been that when we have faith in God, and truly put him first, than we can TRUST that He IS in control. We can LEAVE it for him. We don't need to take it back just because it may not go the way we think it should. Oh how guilty we as humans are of that. "I changed my mind. I'll take care of it myself"

Highly recommend this series. Plus it has lots of great food in it. LOL.
4.5 stars.

"Love on a Whim" is a sweet ending full of growth, laughter and family to the beautiful Cape Cod Creamery trilogy by Suzanne Woods Fisher. I cannot recommend this enough to those readers that read the first two books. If you haven't read them, go back and read them before starting this one - they should be read in order and are just so good!
In this book, Brynn comes to the creamery owned by her best friend Dawn and Dawn's mother Marnie after she meets someone and marries him...on a whim within hours of meeting him. 24 hours after the wedding she wakes up thinking she made a huge mistake and ends up flying to Cap Cod to be with friends who are like family to sort everything out.
The author does a great job showing the developing relationships in the first two stories and weaves Brynn's story in to fit perfectly into the story arc. Brynn was mentioned and showed up in the earlier two books so she's a familiar character and one I was happy to get to know a bit better.
If you are a fan of modern Christian romance books pick this one up and get reading.
Thank you to NetGalley and Revell Publishing for the chance to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
