What an incredible ending to this duology! This was emotional and heartbreaking but one of those stories that will stay with you forever. Chloe has such a way of writing and capturing the reality of events that occur. I can't recommend this series enough!

Joey and Aoife finally got their happy ending and I was so so happy for them. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions and goes in every direction. I’m mainly rating this 4⭐️ because of aoife, Joey going to rehab, baby, Edel, Sean, and Casey. I’ll say the last 10% was the best part of this book.

The thing I struggled with is the fact that we don’t get to see Joey and aoife happy together a lot. Joey really struggles in this book and it was hard to read about him continuing to fall deeper and deeper (please check tw). I needed more of just them. I needed more happy gooey swoony moments instead of deep pain. I wanted to see them living life. I needed a bigger epilogue and for things to have happened faster. I NEEDED MORE OF MY BABIES BEING HAPPY AND IN LOVE THEY DESERVE THE WORLD!!

With that being said, Gibsie & Claire forever. Edel and John kav forever. Johnny & Shan forever. Joey & Aoife forever.

Thanks Bloom & SourceBooks for the chance to re read the new version!!

✨BOOK REVIEW✨

Redeeming 6 by @authorchloewalsh

Joey & Aoife are the definition of a powerhouse couple. Ride or die. That’s them.

Idk if I’ve ever loved a character as much as I love Aoife. She is confident, sassy, strong, and loyal as they come. If her and Joey aren’t meant to be, then no one is. The way she fights for this boy 😭🥹 and stands by him and loves him, just where he’s at. I have no words 😪😪😪

This book brought full-blown tears to my eyes over and over. I have so many highlights. I’ll never recover. If you read my review for Joey’s first book, Saving 6, you’ll know that you’re not getting a fluffy rom-com here. These books are filled with broken characters, extreme circumstances, and emotional rollercoasters. You’ve got drug addiction, physical and verbal abuse at home, unplanned pregnancy, and a whole lot more. Joey deserves the world and I love him and his story so, so much 💔💔

Also the Kavanaghs are pure angels on earth 🌍

Out YESTERDAY 3/19! Thank you @netgalley @read_bloom for allowing me to be an early reader - all thoughts are my own.

I cannot wait for Gibsie and Claire’s story!!!!

This book!!!!

This book right here, is everything. I cannot express enough how much love I have for this series. Each book breaks my heart, but I love it nonetheless. I’ll never not recommend these books, they’re worth your time!!

What a heart wrenching book. So many parts I was teary eyed just thinking that this is actually people’s real lives. Having to live in a home that is so traumatic that being in a drug induced life is better than being present.

Aoife and Joey were end game. We knew that from Saving 6, but all of the crap they had to go through was literally so raw and made you wonder if they would actually make it. There were characters in the book that I absolutely loved - Mama K, can I be you when I grow up? And Lizzie for talking Joey off the ledge - literally.

I gave this book a 4 star, because there was a lot in the middle I feel like could’ve been cut out but then some needed to be added to the end when they did get their HEA! I wanted to see Joey and Aoife after they finished school at Tommen and what came of their lives.

If you want a book series you’ll be thinking about for a long time, then read this. But also, be prepared for the roller coaster of emotions that comes with it.

Also, cannot wait to read Taming 7 with Gibs and Claire.

Nothing could have prepared me for Joey Lynch’s story.

This was a heartbreaking book. It broke my heart and put it back together in the span of one book.

I am so happy that Joey and Aoife FINALLY got their happy ending. No one deserves it more than them.

It was so powerful reading about how Joeys addiction absolutely crippled him but how he got better. How he got better FOR AOIFE. Everything he did, he did for Aoife.

There is no love purer than theirs. They are the definition of soulmates. Joey and Aoife mean so much to me. I love them so much and I think about them all the time already.

This story is not just a love story. It is so so much more than that. I can’t say much without spoiling but just know that if you pick this book up, you won’t be putting it down! It is that good!

Also, everyone please prioritize your mental health and read the TWs before reading this book <33

Absolutely loveed this one. I read saving 6 first so I'd get the full story and I'm completely hooked on the boys of tommen series. I definitely loved Joey's story more than Shannon's tho. Aoife's unwavering support of Joey was amazing. Everyone talks about book Boyfriends but she is the perfect book girlfriend. Can't wait for book 5 to come out. Everyone needs a Gibsie in there life.

this was the weakest one by far. the first 40% i was behind and it lost me until the last 20% again, which i think should’ve been the central point of this story. instead of taking the time to truly flesh anything out, we got HEAPS of repetitive scenes we’ve seen already.

i say this with every new book couple but how am i supposed to care about gibsie and claire now when they’ve just stolen my heart 🥲 (along with johnny and shannon)

This is probably one of the best series I have read in a really long time. I loved the first three so much I purchased all three and can’t wait till the last one comes out. I can’t remember the last time I purchased a physical copy of a book, that how mush I enjoyed her books. The book is long, but you won’t want it to end. The characters are so well written you feel their pain and sorrow at every misstep. I cannot recommend this book enough. I love the real struggle they feel and even though it’s instant attraction the push and pull couldn’t be more rewarding. I can’t wait to read her last book in the series I know it will be just as good as the first 4.

Aoife Molloy and Joey Lynch
I needed this book more than my next breath after finishing Saving 6. After a roller coaster of emotions from Saving 6, I could not wait to see how their story ends in Redeeming 6. Joey and Aoife have already been through so much but every time they always find their way back to each other. One of my favorite things about reading is being able to follow a character’s development from beginning to end, which is why Joey’s story is so special to me. I’m so in awe of his strength and drive to be the best version of himself for everyone around him even through his hardships.
Without revealing any spoilers, I would definitely recommend a box of tissues to anyone who is planning on reading this. I. cried. my. eyes. out. I didn’t know something could do as much emotional damage to me as this book did. “I’ll be seeing ya, Molloy.”
Once I realized I was nearing the end of this book, I did not want the story to stop!! I wish it could’ve kept going because I am so reluctant to leave the Boys of Tommen universe. However, Taming 7 is next up and I am so so excited to read Claire and Gibsie’s story!

I would like to thank the author, publisher, and Netgalley for this ARC.

"I spent so long trying to push her away that when I stopped, it was so easy. Being with her was like breathing. I didn't know I needed the air, but I knew that I would die without it."

OK Joey and Aoife's story broke my HEART guys, like I was full blown sobbing my eyes out more than I care to admit and that is the sign of a GOOD book for me. Only a good book can make you feel so deeply for the characters you are reading about. I thought the plot was difficult in Shannon's POV but reading it in Joey's made it so much more emotional. Please, only read this book if you are mentally stable.

I really did enjoy this read. Maybe not as much as my daughter likes this series but I liked it. For me, it was a solid 3 stars and that’s a good rating. It means I was entertained and would likely recommend to others.

This was a difficult one... the content was very heavy and at times hard to read; however, it was honest and authentic and gave a real look at addiction and familial abuse. I think some of the hardest parts to read were the internal struggles Joey went through - his mental health was so fragile and it was just devastating to see him go through the trauma he endured. I have to say that reading Binding 13 before this book had its pros and cons. Pro - I loved getting to see another side of the story and know Joey and Aoife's POVs. Con: I found myself wanting to skip ahead because I knew what was going to happen and I just couldn't wait to get there. Overall, this was another captivating book in the series (full of some easter eggs of what's to come - Claire and Gibsy!!) I'm excited to keep reading!
Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, Bloom Books for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Wow oh wow. Where do I even start. 😭 This book wrecked me but also was healing with the ending we got. I heart hurt so much for Joey and Aoife.

✨ “You don’t get to tell me you love me and then go right back to breaking my heart!”✨

Joey struggles with addiction, and seeing him try to be better but then also failing? My heart broke. 💔 The pain of seeing him go down a bad path… and how Aoife tried being there for him nonstop. She knew he was still the boy she fell in love with. 🥹

✨ Falling in love had exposed the biggest weakness in me because my heart refused to allow me to walk away from him, no matter how hopeless it seemed.✨

The lynch kids deserved better, they deserved the whole world and seeing what they went through was heartbreaking. 🥺🥺🥺 I’m glad the last part of the book was happier for everyone. I wish we got to see more of their future in the book and how life is now but maybe later on we can see more of them again. 🤞🏻🥰

✨ “I want you to love yourself enough to stop destroying yourself.”✨

My thoughts are still processing but I just know that Joey and Aoife will always have a place in my heart. These two deserve so much happiness after the stuff they endured. ❤️

✨“Ride or die, Joe.”

“Ride or die, Molloy.”✨

I have loved this whole series. Yes they are big books, but the story is so rich. Nobody deserves a HEA more than Joey Lynch. His story is full of heartbreaking trauma and struggle and you are rooting for him the whole time. The story sits with you a long time after. Check trigger warnings. Thank you to Bloom Books and NetGalley for the ARC.

Please please please read this series, every book in this series is different but so perfect and I will rarely say that but Chloe gives due attention to both characters, fleshing them out so deeply, but also the due attention to the progression and growth, as well and I rarely see that in books that make me FEEL so deeply like every book in this series has done for me. If you’ve read BK13 then expect something different from Joey and Aoife but still so so amazing and if you haven’t, then please start this series and fall in love with all of the Boys of Tommen with me!!!

I love them still so much. The shining point of this book is that they are not afraid of love but rather the obstacles that individuals still face despite/after falling in love. Every time Joey showed his unwavering love for her and Aoife showed her never-ending support for him with their sweet comments and swoony banter just captured my heart. It was clear as crystal that these two were in love and would make it no matter what because they belonged together. But first we had to watch them fight their battles! Moreover, seeing the battles they both faced individually just proved that they deserved their HEA more than most romance novel couples.

This series has my heart and I just need the world to know that I cannot wait for Taming 7 and the drama that is sure to unfold in Claire & Gibsie’s book! Thank you so much to Bloom Books for the early copy for review!
