This nonfiction book is all about the first moments of learning of the animals. Author has selected few animals and told in a very peculiar way about when they start walking or swimming or climbing trees and more. Children be it of human or any animal are always so cute and watching them learn things and growing up is entirely an amazing experience, specially for their parents. Nature has cast her own way in which we all species learn things and know this world around us.
How much time it takes for them all to do their first coarse of action is mentioned with colorful art in this book. How much time wolf cub takes to howl, baby rabbits to open their eyes, for elephants to learn on using their trunks and many others too.

This is a good colorful and knowledgeable picture book for children to learn on the facts relevant to animal's babies.

This is such a heartwarming book. After being a mom I can understand the tender feelings and moments shared between a mom and their offspring quite well.

Doesn't matter if you are human being or animal, a maternal love is always beyond comparison and limits and that's what this book teaches in simplest ways possible with adorable and cute illustrations of mothers and their babies.

This one was so cute. It tells a cute and easy to follow story but along the way children will learn fun facts about baby animals

This book is equally educational and cute! The pictures are great and look realistic, but still fitting for a children’s book. I like how this book offers two options when reading. For a younger child, perhaps the reader could focus on just the rhyming text without the facts. But an older child would likely want the facts included. I also really liked the additional facts in the back of the book. My eight year old would love this one!

My toddler son loves stories of baby animals. and this one was a win for him! He loves hearing how every living creature has a mama and dada and they are connected. This book helped reinforce that learning for him. The illustrations are very cute. The cadence of the book wasn't my favorite in reading aloud though.

Give me all the baby animals!! This was the absolute cutest book. I loved that with each animal it gave a fun fact about that baby animal. My son really loved this book!

We adore this heartwarming little book about trying new things. We get to learn about animal babies as they try new things, like walking, eating and climbing. A heartwarming message that “I’ll be beside you wherever you go” adds to the comfort this story brings. It makes a perfect bedtime snuggle story. The illustrations are bold and colorful and show us some cute animals learning. We love this book. It makes the perfect gift for little ones. Easy to follow, simple text with perfect pictures to show us the adorable story. Your family will love this one.

I love the facts for each animal and what a fun way to share with young ones how their growth differs with baby animals. The art work was beautiful and so vibrant!

The summary of facts at the end is so fun, especially for young kids who are entering those stages of development.

Great read, this will be one we get for our niece to grow with.

Baby Animals Trying is a cute book about baby animals reaching certain milestones like standing, walking, climbing, etc. The illustrations are precious and the rhyming pages are sweet. It’s helpful that there is an educational section in the back with more information about the animals included in the book. Since this book is geared towards young children and you flip pages relatively quickly to hold their attention, it may be helpful to eliminate the non rhyming pages as they really just cut into the overall flow of the book. The animals included and relating to human children are cute and my kids found the information interesting in the background of the book. I think Baby Animals Growing may be a more appropriate title because it feels like you are reading an incomplete statement when you start the book.

Baby Animals Trying is full of beautifully illustrated pages that contain an assortment of facts about baby animals. I loved the variety of animals and that the story itself was easy to read for children, but there were more in depth explanations of each baby animal in the back of the book.

Very cute illustrations, but this goes without saying actually, since this book is about baby animals and their beginning endeavors at life. I found the script to also be offered in a gently educational, almost subtle manner and feel this work for young children will be of great interest to them.

There's a range of animals mentioned such as: foals, elephants, seals, honey bears, orangutangs and many more, which will keep any child enthused. It would make for a pleasant reading session and time to connect with one's child, I'd say.

At book's end, are further short blurbs about the various animals named within the previous pages. These, perhaps are extras for slightly older children who can read and are keen on learning more about these babies in nature.

Together, author and illustrator have created a beautiful and enticing children's non-fiction book - at least in my humble opinion, they did.

I give this book a 5-Star rating.

This was so cute! The illustrations were adorable! I really liked how the text first talked about the specific thing each animal does for the first time and then gives a fact about that action on top of that for more context. A really fun way to introduce new animals and activities to a young child. For the older kids, there is even more in-depth info for each animal at the back of the book. Many of them actions are also things that could easily be play-acted with a child. I think I’ll be adding this one to our wishlist.
