This is a good book. The main characters are Victoria, Mike, Jonathan, and Tyler. Victoria, Mike, and Jonathan go to college together. The way they meet was Mike and Jonathan played college baseball and Victoria was the Equipment manager. Victoria knew Tyler because he was her stepbrother. Victoria needs money so she makes a sign with a phone number to find someone to make love with her on a video. Mike says he will do it. Soon Jonathan finds out about it and wants in. Then Tyler finds out about it and says can he join too? They all fall in love and promise to protect each other.
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
I was wondering why it took me so long to get into this book. This was so freaking problematic.
First of all, the cheating. Yes, I consider it cheating. I just don't understand how you can love two people and just sleep with someone else immediately after you are "broken up". Instead of fighting for the people you love. That says a lot about a person's character. It's Victoria btw. She didn't even feel bad about it. Apparently, that was "empowering". I just hated her at the end of the book.
Two, there was a lot of inconsistencies. The main characters kept acting out of character or suddenly turned into a completely different person which was really annoying. Then there was a series of misunderstandings which just soured it completely. It seemed to get better and suddenly it all went right back to a mess.
Three, the power imbalance in the relationship. I really liked the initial parts of the sexual relationship but as we progressed it just seemed to become what Victoria wanted instead of what everyone wants. Jonathan deserved so much better and Mike was just getting annoying as the book progressed.
Lots of toxicity, misunderstandings, inconsistencies, stupid decisions just ruined the whole thing. It was a really good story idea that could have taken an entirely different path. Unfortunately, I don't think this author is for me.
Thank you to the publisher for this ARC.

Extended Roaster is a baseball romance with why choose, workplace, stepbrother tropes. It has multiple POV’s following four main characters. The writing was good, it did seem to jump around a little in the plot. The characters in this story were ok. I did not hate them, but they were not always my favorite. Victoria started off this book dull, shy and very meek and did a whole 180 and threw me off for a little bit, I was like who is the girl. I would say if you are a fan of Pucking Around by Emily Rath, then you will like this book. It was hot, the relationships developed very fast, I would have liked more development and build up between characters. There was a lot happening with the plot, dramatic and suspense at times. Mike did get on my nerves a bit when anything put a hitch in their dynamics, he wanted everyone to back off and it got a bit repetitive. It had a fun story line, complex character dynamics and a really good time.
Trigger warnings: substance use.
I received an advanced ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.
This why choose was a good one, definitely not one to miss. Because there was four characters the book is on the longer side, every character has their moment in the spotlight.
For anyone who ever wished Elle Kennedy wrote a why choose, Aimee Rivkin has made your dreams come true. A college sports romance which starts a forbiden romance morphs into an only fans mutual agreement with the stars of the baseball team. The FMC experiences a sexual awkakening from popping her cherry to making big bucks on only fans.

A baseball, enemies to lovers, why choose romance, yes please!!
Victoria is trying to help pay off her mother’s debt, so she starts an OF account to make money and puts an add on campus looking for some to lose her virginity to on camera.
This book did not disappoint! I loved the relationship between Mike and Jonathan. I also loved when Tyler was introduced 🔥
There was a lot of spice, which was great, but there was also an actual plot, which was nice! I flew through this book and couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to read more from Aimee Rivkin

Thank you to Onsub Press & NetGalley for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.
I will always love a "Why Choose" romance. Pair that with anything related to sports and it is a sure fire winner in my eyes. This book is incredibly sexy, with characters that you can't help but love and a story that you can't help but swoon at.
Victoria is a strong willed character who finds her stride as the book goes on. She starts off lacking confidence, with her only goal in life being the security and future of her sister. As the book goes on, and she explores her sexuality, a whole other side of Victoria is discovered. She not only becomes so confident in her own skin and finds out who she is, but she no longer is afraid to demand things for herself. I love how she is a different person with each guy, yet she still remains wholly herself. Each guys just seems to compliment each side of her.
Mike is our "looks like he can kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll." He has so many insecurities. Being with Victoria helps him work through them and overcome them. With her he finds a kindred spirit. Plus, his story turned romance with Jonathan is so incredibly sweet.
Jonathan is the golden retriever of the group. You can't help but to fall in love with him right from the start. He is completely obsessed with Victoria in the most wholesome way. I also love how he never lets his fame or status get to his head. The only thing he truly cares about is his little found family. What is especially great is that he never shies away from his feelings towards Mike. As soon as he knew how he truly felt he did not let rumors or stereotypes get in the way. He knew what he wanted and he went after it.
Now on to our dark horse. Tyler has the whole "touch her and I will kill you" vibes going. The only thing that threw me off about him was that he's blonde as I always imagine broody MMC's to be dark haired (lol). Tyler was an almost refreshing addition to the group. He added symmetry to it since Jon and Mike also had one another. When you read about him at first you don't know what to think, but then he turns out to be this pining man who is soooo HOT.
Overall, this was a great poly book. Great representation along with a fantastic message of loving who you want and not letting other peoples judgments and views get in the way of what makes you happy.

We do not know what to say about this book, because the spice level, just wow. Steamy sport romance for the win! In the story we met a strong and independent woman who is doing everything to help her younger sister have a better future. Victoria the FMC finds herself in a financial bind and her day job as her Colleges Baseball teams equipment girl is not enough. She decided the only way to gain this money was to create a Only Fans Account, but not alone, she decided to bring in more money she needed to bring in a partner. She finds that business partner in Mike the baseball’s team catcher who also finds himself in a financial bind. What these two work-partners do not expect is the attraction they have for each other. Especially Mike, who is in love with his best friend and fellow teammate, star pitcher Johnathan. Twist in all this, Jonathan is also in love with Victoria, and when he learns of their partnership decides to join them.
What none of them expect is to fall in love and become one united loving couple . Each character is going through their own journey in adulthood. They grow as individuals and support each other, but also never expect their partnership turned relationship to become an issue. When this happens, Victoria distances herself and she turns into Tyler, her step-brother who has also freed Victoria from her financial bind, with the hopes of showing Victoria that he also does love her and wants to be in her life. In the end all these characters find each other, they create a love story that is unique and so sweet.

Thank you Onsub Press and Netgallery for the ARC of this book!
Well, this is a spicy baseball romance I didn’t know I needed in my life! This is a reverse harem book with plot, sweet and angsty romance. The characters are all very complex and trying to find themselves in middle of college life. Victoria the main female character I think had some of the biggest character arc in exploring herself. Mike and Jonathan relationship is slow burn but so sweet. Loved watching them find each other. There’s so many layers to this story. Yes it’s spicy, steamy but also sweet romance with a happily ever after! Many thanks to Onsub Press and NetGalley for the digital review copy of this novel. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
"Expanded Roster" by Aimee Rivkin was a new type of read for me. I normally try to stick to sapphic stories, but I decided to give this one a try. The book itself was an electrifying tapestry of passion, polyamory, and self-discovery that stands out from your typical college romances. It was a great way to discover a new writer and a fantastic introduction to a new genre.
The story's MC, Victoria, a hardworking college student facing unexpected financial struggles was likable and throughout the book, I grew to really enjoy her POV.
I also love how modern this felt, with Only fans and other very actual references. The series of events that leads Victoria to engage in her "why choose" with Mike, Jonathon, and Tyler was also HOT.
Rivikin skillfully crafts distinct voices for each character, allowing their arcs to unfold with authenticity. The relationships between the characters are beautifully developed, complete with tender moments, deep feelings, and the brilliance of the friends-to-lovers trope.
While the book delivers on the spicy and kinkier aspects of romance, it also offers substance and growth. The characters navigate through messy, real-life situations, displaying warmth, connectedness, and the undeniable realization that they want to be together, even if it comes with different costs for each.
This novel leaves readers craving everything these characters desire, especially when they feel they are undeserving. I was certainly left wanting more!
Thank you to Aimee Rivkin, Onsub Press and NetGalley for the ARC.
3 ⭐️ Why choose MMFM romance *
This book is not the first I've read of its kind: poly romances, sports romances, queer romances... Name the romance trope, I've probably read it. And all I have to say about this book is that, while it's definitely not an awful book, there are much better poly romances out there.
Still, this book was admittedly really fun to read. This is a 1000% a pleasure read, so I wasn't expecting a revolutionary masterpiece of literature. But there were too many intalove/instalust moments, which are usually not a problem for me, but the fact that one of the mmcs in this MMFM romance doesn't actually interact with all the rest of the mcs until about three-quarters of the way into the book is not ok to me. It felt lacking and empty in a sense that didn't sit quite well. Especially since this particular mmc is the one that tries to carry the whole ex-stepbrother, 'enemies-to-lovers' vibe. Him and the fmc get over their issues basically by ignoring them and banging them out, which I'm sure it's a great system... It's also just toxic af, and not really something I'm interested in or like to read about.
That being said, the MM relationship in the book is really cute, even if it's not all that explored on page (or at least not as much as I personally would've liked). This book is mostly carried by the smutty scenes and the fact that the FMC really just wants to be an OF star after 'selling her virginity' basically-which also wasn't my favourite thing. No shame to sex workers at all, but the whole 'virgin-to-OF content creator' felt weird and way too surreal, even for an obviously fictional smut book.
I don't know if I'd recommend this book to someone who is just starting to read poly/ reverse harem books, but it's a trope that you have already explored and loved, maybe this book could be for you!
🌶🌶🌶🌶/ 5 - Spicewise, this book is steamy! Like -omg, are we in a sauna rn- kind of steamy... The smut is good; not the best I've read, but definitely not the worst either. It's sweet and, like I said before, pretty instalove-y which made the whole thing kind of wholesome... even if they're literally making and selling s3x tapes lol.
* And, of course, thank you so much NetGalley for providing me with this eARC!!
This review has already been uploaded to Goodreads :)
i really really enjoyed the writing, it was very well written but i think the pacing was off, as everything moved really fast which tempered my enjoyment because it felt like it was dragging
Here’s me again reviewing another debut author as I often find myself trying new authors. This book was more than a solid effort and in some ways was more than I expected. There are four points of view in the book and it was an effortless transition from one to the next and I appreciated that as multiple POVs are a favorite of mine.
The book opens with Victoria. She is a college student and takes on everything. With demanding courses, she also works for the baseball team and tries to be everything to her younger sister and fill in the gaps that their mother leaves. A financial situation has Victoria once again trying to fix everything and she thinks that “selling” her virginity will bring in the money that is needed.
Then there is Mike. He’s the catcher on the baseball team and due to an injury he knows he has no chance of a professional baseball career. He knows Victoria from the clubhouse and is attracted to her, but Mike is also in love with his best friend, Jonathan, who is the pitcher for the team. But Mike has self esteem issues and thinks he can’t possibly be good enough for either of them.
Jonathan knows he’s a good pitcher and a baseball career is all he has ever wanted. He gets nervous before games and Mike has calmed him from their first conversation. Having never been attracted to a man before, Jonathan does not realize that he is in love with Mike. He does know that he is wildly attracted to Victoria.
Then, there is Tyler who is Victoria’s former stepbrother. They have never gotten along, Tyler gets on all of Victoria’s nerves, but there is more going on of course.
There is a lot more emotion in this book than I expected. The relationships between Victoria, Mike and Jonathan are built upon as the base of the story and it was great reading as they navigate the videos and the way their relationships were changing. Then Tyler is brought in which adds another layer to an already full story.
This is a long book and at times the middle portion lagged and then I felt there wasn’t enough time to devote to Tyler to make him really stand out. I felt the book could have been just as good, possibly better, with more depth for Victoria, Mike, and Jonathan, if Tyler wasn’t added in here and I never got a complete sense of how he was going to fit in with all of them going forward. I also felt like his story wasn’t fully tied up at the end, there wasn’t enough detail devoted to all of his actions throughout the story, and the story with his father and Victoria’s mother needed more to make it fully come together for me.
The book is sex positive with Victoria enjoying her OnlyFans account and acceptance of the complicated relationship in general. Expanded Roster offered complex relationships and emotions with characters taking chances and I will definitely look for more from this author.
First thought: Warning this book is extra hot and spicy! it is a smorgasbord of all things from: loosing virginity, sex videos, 3-4somes, baseball, business partners, polyam/queer, deep feeling characters and so much more. It was a fun wild ride!
Victoria the overachiever. She is in her junior year of college studying to be a nurse, she works in the college baseball clubhouse looking after the players equipment. She has one rule she has to follow, don’t fraternize with the players.
She just found out from her sister that their single mom hasn’t paid taxes in a few years and owes a hefty bill to the IRS. Victoria takes it upon herself to find a solution and the easiest fasted way to make money is to market her virginity and sell a video of her loosing it on her Fans Only Site. After doing her research and working up the nerves she posts a flyer in the student union looking for a partner.
Mike is a senior with bad knees and his days of being a catcher are limited. He’s had his eyes on Victoria in the locker room forever but he hasn’t made a move because it’s against bro code and clubhouse rules. But when he saw her post that flier at the student union he couldn’t help himself. Now it’s up to her if she wants to become business partners.
Jonathan is the star pitcher of the team and he’s up to be drafted this year at the end of the season. He needs to just stay focused and out of trouble. He is best friends with Mike and he also has heart eyes for Victoria he wants nothing more to kiss her.
Tyler is Victoria’s rich ex stepbrother and she hates him, he’s nothing but a pretentious ass. He gets off on making her life miserable and he’s threatening to take her sister to live with him because of her mom’s tax issues.
So with money being the issue and the only way out Victoria makes a choice, business and sex are now on the table. This story has lots of layers and I would recommend if you like your books with spice turned up.

This book was sexy as hell. Victoria wants to pay off her mother’s debt so it won’t affect her younger sister’s chance at getting a student loan. She creates an OF page in the hopes of earning money, and places an ad on campus to find someone to lose her virginity to on camera. Enter Mike, who plays on the baseball team that Victoria works part-time for. Mike feels a little guilty about this because he knows that his best friend and teammate Jonathan really likes Victoria and pulls him into the arrangement too. As the plot thickens, Tyler (Victoria’s ex-stepbrother) becomes part of the arrangement too.
————————-
The plot line kept me invested all the way through, so it didn’t feel like just smut. A little more emotional and had more depth than other why choose/polyamorous romances I’ve read. It’s always hard to get a full read on so many characters but I think we were given enough background info on each to make them personable and interesting.
Tyler’s introduction was a little too late in the game for me to be fully invested in his part of the foursome, but what we were shown was good. I liked the dynamic he added to the group.
******Spoiler*****
It wrapped up in an interesting way. They’re going to get “married” or agree to be together always, but they don’t all live together. It kind of felt like Victoria and Tyler were together, and saw Mike and Jonathan, who were together, when they could. And they all banged.
Tropes: why choose, new adult romance, sports romance, college romance, forbidden romance
I'm a baseball fan as well as a romance reader, and this queer why choose baseball romance was completely delightful; I loved all four main characters and the way the various permutations of their relationships played out as the book progressed. Eldest daughter Victoria was such a relatable heroine and seeing her figure out what she wanted and how to get it was very satisfying. This book was fun and sexy but also did a great job of weaving in some more serious situations and themes as they came up in the characters' lives.
(I'll post a version of this review on Instagram on release day.)
Expanded Roster by Aimee Rivkin was so much fun!
I wasn't too sure what to expect going into this as its the first time I’ve read this authors work but I was very surprised by this genre, and sucked it down in one fell swoop!
The author does an amazing job pulling you into the action of the scenes and honestly I got swept up and didn't want to leave. This was an experience I savored and enjoyed!
A riveting MMFM poly romance and for this to be my very first “why choose” type romance it was freaking phenomenal!
I thoroughly enjoyed this captivating, emotional story.
Thank You NetGalley and Onsub Press for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!
Synopsis: Good girl Victoria needs money fast to pay off her mom's delinquent tax bill before it prevents her sister from applying for financial aid for college. She puts a flyer up at her college looking for someone to take her virginity on camera for an OnlyFans account and the hot baseball catcher she works with answers.
My take: The synopsis for this book looked fantastic, and I was excited to find out that it exceeded my expectations. Most romance novels have one romantic relationship, but this one had four - each unique in their own way and equally as beautiful. Each character had their individual arc in addition to the romantic relationship(s) they formed. Since this was a why choose romance, I expected there to be spice (and there was great spicy scenes!) but I didn't anticipate the swoony sweetness that had me kicking my feet. If you've been reticent to try a why choose romance, I think this is a great one to start with. I honestly can't recommend it enough.
Thank you to the author and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review."
3.5 stars
Now I love spicy books but this one was sex every few chapters and it just got boring and repetitive. I loved seeing everyone fall in love with each other. Its amazing to see them come together and realize how much they want and love each other. I feel like it could be shorter by like 100 pages. I did enjoy seeing an onlyfans due to me writing a book with a character who has an onlyfans.
