I want to go and live at Rebel Blue Ranch thanks.
I am here for all the cowboy romances & small-town vibes
Lyla Sage knows how to deliver a fun, heartwarming romance with the perfect amount of spice!
This is the perfect book for anyone who loves cowboys, strong FMC's, and small town romances.

It was so good. I loved it. Lyla is becoming one of my auto-buy authors, I think. Swift and Saddled is a great addition to the series and left me with a smile on my face the whole time. I love that Lyla can add so many different emotions into one book and it be absolutely okay. I cannot wait to read more.

I love a cowboy romance, and while I really enjoyed the first book in this series, I didn’t love this one as much as I wanted to.

Lyla Sage is a great writer, and I like the setting, characters, and overall vibe of the Rebel Blue Ranch series. I just didn’t feel as invested in this second instalment.

This isn’t to say it wasn’t a good read - nor will I not continue with the others to follow. It’s even a title I’d still recommend!

So without further ado, a few words about it:

Ada and Wes are the definition of opposites attract. She’s a city girl, determined to build the interior design business of her dreams; and he’s a cowboy, dedicated to a huge renovation project at his family’s ranch.

No surprise for guessing how the two end up crossing paths, but in case it wasn’t clear, they work together - and careful not to ever give too much away, that’s all I’ll say!

While it wasn’t completely for me, it was cute. So thanks again for the copy NetGalley!

“He was always looking at me, and I was always looking at him. It was a problem. A big fucking problem.”

- Cowboy romance 🐴
- Instant attraction but slow burn
- Spice 🌶️🌶️
- Dual POV
- Mental health representation

This book was everything I could’ve asked for after the wonder that was Done & Dusted. Lyla Sage is a master of cowboy romances, she knows how to build the tension between loveable characters, which leaves you begging for more as you turn each page.

Ada and Wes have sizzling chemistry from the moment they lay eyes on each other, and boy is it palpable. They’re seriously putting something in the water in Medowlark because the men in these stories are breathtaking!

There are horses, and cowboys, and farmhouses, and big beautiful family ranch breakfasts. There are stunning horseback rides, and cattle wrangling, and a renovation to a beautiful farmhouse. Honestly, you couldn’t ask for more from a cowboy romance.

The spice was to DIE for, and the banter was hilariously engaging. I adored this book, I’d read it again for sure!

Thank you NetGalley and Hachette Australia & New Zealand for the ARC of this glorious book!

Another cowboy romance from the queen of ranch rom com!
Ada is coming to the ranch to help fix up the new accommodation on the ranch but the sparks flying between her and the head of the project Wes are enough to start a fire and scare her away.
I love all the Ryder brothers! They are so likeable and I think Wes is the sweetest one. I found Ada very frustrating to read because she focuses on her own feelings and problems constantly and is so flighty. They do work together but I would have liked a different female lead for Wes.
If you like introverted women who have been hurt and have abandonment issues you will go mad over this book!
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

After absolutely loving the first book, it was no surprise that I loved this one just as much! Wes is a dreamboat and seeing him fight to get what he wants is amazing and absolutely swoon-worthy. And ada started off so mysterious but it was beautiful to see her grow into the person she is inside with her freedom. I am desperate for more from Lyla Sage in the future as I absolutely love cowboy romances - especially when they’re from her. I also have to give praise to the cover of this book because it is absolutely stunning! I love the old Wild West Hollywood vibes it gives! I am so excited for the next book so I can return to this world with all these incredible characters!.

I love Lyla and her Rebel Blue Ranch series. The way in which she writes is just something so unique that I can't help but fall in love with her words.

Wes and Ada meet at The Devils Boot and hook up but no before being caught which has Ada fleeing. Little does she know that Wes is the guy she has been corresponding with to work on his ranch and things may be a little awkward.

Wes and Ada may be complete opposites but they are so perfect for each other. I love their relationship developments and how Wes isn't afraid to show his emotions and admit that he has some mental health issues - big praise to Lyla for writing this so well!

I am very intrigued for Cam's story after the few little snippets throughout this book and I just know its going to be AMAZING!

This book was just so perfect and I need everyone to go and read this because you will not de disappointed!

Lyla Sage has done it again with Swift and Saddled! These stories are quick, juicy and oh so enjoyable. The cosiest cowboy romance around!

We love a soft cowboy and a black cat fmc. Wes and Ada were perfect together, Wes was patient with Ada’s insecurities. Their story is super sweet and felt genuine. Loved the open communication between the two and the touching on mental health. Can’t wait for Gus & Teddy!

This is book 2 in the series. I adore a cowboy romance. Maybe something to do with living in the country. Wes stole my heart and so did their romance.

This book was so fun and sexy! I loved Ada and her black cat vibes. It was so enjoyable seeing her become comfortable with Wes and their relationship forming. The tension was amazing and I was just itching waiting for them to finally get together!

I adore the family and welcoming everyone was to Ada and the friendships she formed. I'm a sucker for a renovation TV show so I really liked that element of the book and I actually felt like I could perfectly picture the new house!

Overall this was really good and I flew through it! I really like this series so far and I can't wait to read more! 😍

Opposites, Ada and Wes are thrown into a workplace relationship when she rocks up to her new job in a small town as a renovator/designer for a ranch project to find that her new boss is her almost one night stand from the night before.

I loved this just as much as Done and Dusted. It was cute, fluffy and a bit spicy. It was a small town fun yeehaw romance that was easy to read and over in a whirlwind but I loved every minute of it.

If hot cowboys are your thing then you will gobble this up.

With Done and Dusted making an absolute splash within the niche genre of cowboy romance, Swift and Saddled not only cemented Sage’s talent but secured her a television deal with Universal to adapt the beloved Rebel Blue Ranch Series.

Returning readers to the heartwarming family charm found in Done and Dusted, Sage provides a comforting backdrop for Ada’s unexpected romance alongside the Baby Blue guest house renovation. The characterisation of Ada was especially uplifting, as she starts a journey of self-discovery and welcomes the unconditional love of Wes, who is detrimental to Ada learning to trust and break down her walls again.

Sage brings a unique voice to the genre, portraying romance in a wild yet realistic nature perfectly complimenting her important mental health representation. Sage is a phenomenal talent that has expertly set up future exciting instalments in the series, leaving romance readers throughout the world on the edge of their seats.

oh I absolutely loved being back at Rebel Blue so much!!

I was stoked to snatch an eARC of this one and I am already dying for the third instalment.

Lyla Sage had me absolutely hooked from the get go. The meet-cute, the workplace dynamic, the friendships and the found family were just top tier. I have so much love in my heart for these characters. They feel so real and 3-dimensional, and I just want to sit around a campfire with some beers at Rebel Blue and talk the night away so badly.

I am just as impressed with the sequel as I was with the first book, and I think Lyla Sage is going to keep producing bangers.

'Lyla Sage has this way of writing that pulls you in and refuses to let go until the last page. Both Wes and Ada are dealing with their own insecurities but their instant attraction which then turns into a slow-burn connection teaches them to lean on each other. This is definitely one for when you need a palate cleanser. It's quick and easy, while still being immersive and full of heart.'

Swift & Saddled was a fantastic opposites attract, workplace romance, cowboy romance which I absolutely loved. This is the first book I’ve read by the author and even though it’s the second book in the rebel blue ranch series I didn’t have any issues reading this out of order. Ada is a self-made business woman who is very independent and still healing from a bad breakup. And Weston is a true cowboy with a huge heart who is sick of being the nice guy. These two make such a perfect match and the journey to them falling in love makes a great story. The book has such a strong opening with a very bold first meeting hookup which sets the scene for the rest of the book. I’ve read a few average outback romances recently and now I know why I’m finding them so bland when Lyla Sage is out here showing us how a cowboy romance should be written. I’m really looking forward now to reading the rest of the series.

I am actually in shock at Lyla Sage's ability to keep me hooked on a book sub-genre I usually hate. I dislike Cowboys in general but Weston Ryder might've just stolen my heart.

Ada Hart, an independent city girl, is hired as the interior designer for a major project at a Wyoming ranch. There she meets Weston Ryder, a charming cowboy, who turns out to be her new boss. Despite Ada's reluctance to get involved romantically, Weston is drawn to her. As they work together, they must decide whether to pursue their feelings or prioritise their careers.

I found the pacing of the book really good and the plot was easy to follow. All the characters were likeable and I truly loved the growth and journey of the two protagonists. I would've liked to learn a bit more about Wes, however, as much of his journey was about winning over Ada.

I truly urge you to pick up this book and experience the whirlwind of emotions Lyla Sage is promising. I am already shaking with excitement about picking up the third instalment of the series!

Thank you to Lyla Sage and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This might be THE best cowboy romance that I have ever read! Yep, I said it.

The meet-cute had me hooked from the opening chapter. The simmering tension was immaculate. The entire book is the ultimate swoon fest and I was giddy the whole time reading it. My heart melted at the vulnerabilities of the two MCs and their understanding of one another. I could easily have started reading it all over again once I’d finished it.

This is the book you read past your bedtime. This is the book you buy off your fellow bookstagrammer’s wishlist because they MUST read it. This is the book that will be in my top 5 reads at the end of the year.

Last, but certainly not least, Weston Rhodes Ryder. That is all 🥵

I was so excited when I received this ARC, I loved the first book so going in my hopes were high. So far this series is restoring my faith in men…. Shame they’re fictional 😩

Wes and Ada are working together to renovate a guest house at Rebel Blue. Ada is a city girl who’s wanting independence after a bad previous relationship and Wes continued to show up for her even when she said she didn’t need him.

I loved the tension in the first half of the book and the constant banter. Wes was so gentle with Ada, which is exactly what she needed. My favourite part, you don’t have to give up your dreams to have a relationship.

Absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for the next in the series! Teddy and Gus 🥰

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC through NetGalley. My review is my honest opinion on this book ✨
