i absolutely love kbr’s writing!! the addicted/calloway sisters series is one of my all time fave and i was blown away with this one! it was unlike any other book i’ve read with such a creative unique premise. this book sets itself apart from their other series being more plot driven, while also character driven at its core.

dishonestly yours is filled with drama, angst, and secrets. phoebe and rocky’s push-and-pull dynamic and tension filled moments had me captivated and invested in their romance. as con artists, they were taught to deceive and manipulate their way through life. but as they leave this life all behind, it means to live honestly, including coming face to face to harboring feelings and revealing secrets from the past.

phoebe and rocky are two hot heads that give off the same energy as loren hale and rose calloway. rocky is literally loren hale exuding the sharp wit and confidence of connor cobalt, need i say more? 🤭 they bring out all the sizzling tension! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

i also love the classic sibling/found family dynamics. their group of six are ride-or-dies and would go to the ends of the earth for one another.

if you love the messy, angst love from lily and lo’s relationship in the addicted/calloway sisters series, you’ll love this!

Let me just start by saying this wasn’t a typical read for me, but I really enjoyed it! I just couldn’t put it down.

This story revolves around two con artist families. After a con gone wrong Phoebe and Hailey decide to start anew. Away from their families and their con artist lifestyle. Rocky, Hailey’s older brother, decides to join them in the small Connecticut town. This complicates everything for Phoebe as they have so much history together.

The dynamic between Phoebe and Rocky had me wanting to scream mid way through the book. However, once you get to the why it all comes together seamlessly. This book was split into past and present timelines. I really enjoyed getting to slowly understand their backstory as the past was being unraveled.

The strong bonds between the Phoebe and Hailey was such a great aspect of this book. The life that they led had showed them that they can only fully rely on each other and their other siblings.

I really enjoyed these authors writing style and I cannot wait for book two!

Dishonestly yours by Krista and Becca Ritchie - I'm not sure what kind of a story I expected when I started this book but I quite enjoyed this! ✨

The addicted/Calloway sisters series is one of my favourites but this author and I had very high expectations going into this book..💗

The plot of this book is unlike anything I've read before. The story follows Rocky and Phoebe, both come from a family of con artists. They seem to have a complex relationship since their younger days and we do get slight glimpses of it throughout the book. 🍓🕸️

There’s angst, tension, over the top drama, secrets, and found family. This was such a fun ride and a great start to the series! 🎢

It was bit slow at first but as we got more of the characters back stories I got more invested in the book...
I did have a few issues with he pacing of the book and the relationship dynamic between the main characters was a bit irritating at times..

It does end on a (sort of) cliffhanger..
I still have so many questions, there's so much to be revealed in the next books..Have the characters been living their whole life in a lie?
Needless to say I'll definitely be picking up the second book as soon as it is out! 🕸️🍓💗

WOW. First of all I’m so sorry because I somehow got the dates mixed up and thought this released 7/9. Second of all, this was one of my favorite reads of the year. I couldn’t put it down, I was so sucked in to Phoebe & Rocky’s story, it was like nothing else I’ve ever read. I think the spice level was great and the characters kept me guessing - there were points I didn’t know who to trust. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

This was my first book by these ladies, and it will not be my last. I need book 2 ASAP. Like today!!
The whole concept of this book was new to me, but it was also so fun and intriguing! It almost makes me wanna pull of a con BUT only if I can have Phoebe and Hailey as my partners lol This book just really had the biggest chokehold on me I couldn't put it down. I DEVOURED it. I was literally screaming ROCKKKKKYYYY at my kindle multiple times!

This was my first book by Krista and Becca that I’ve read and I can’t wait to read more, especially within this series!

I absolutely loved this book!! The characters, the romance, the drama, the twists are all just *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏻

Phoebe and Hailey want to escape the con artist lifestyle their families have raised them in, but Hailey’s older brother, Rocky, won’t let them do it alone.

This grumpy x grumpy story had me hooked from beginning to end with twists and surprises.

I need the next one ASAP!! 🍓🤭

I felt at times this was a little bit too chaotic and at some moments I felt like the authors just thought we would know everything without fully giving us what we needed.

However, I did find myself oddly addicted to it.

Don't come for me, BUT.... this one just took me forever to get invested!! HOWEVER, after about 35% in, it really turned around! I ended up loving the plot, staying up 'til the wee hours of the morning reading! And Rocky and Phoebe's characters really grew on me, especially Rocky 😍

The mutual pining and slow burn OMG! 🔥 The slowest of slow burns here. But so. WORTH. it.

The book ended on a (small) cliff hanger, which is never my favorite, but has me anxious for the next book! 🍓🕷️🕸️

Lots of secrets, banter, tension, and angst.

This book was a slow start for me, but after giving it a chance, it really surprised me. Rocky and Phoebe’s chemistry and tension was off the charts! I would’ve loved more of a love triangle vibe with Jack, i felt like there was some good tension there, that would’ve really made the story 5 ⭐️ for me.

I’m excited to see what’s next for this band of thieves.

Dishonestly Yours by Krista Ritchie is the first book in a new series title Webs We Weave. I have been looking forward to this book since I first heard about it. Two families involved in cons around the country always looking for the next con/payday/target. Parents who involved their children from a young age. When Phoebe and Hailey decide to have a fresh start after a con gone wrong and live an honest life, they keep getting pulled back into the life. Rocky, Hailey's older brother, and Phoebe have always had a thing for eachother but could never act on it because of the family. Their story plays out on the pages of this book. This book was hard to get into as there were a lot of characters at first and the timeline bounced around. About half way through the book, things started to pick up and made for a really good slow burn story. I'm looking forward to seeing where this series will take us next!

We follow Rocky and Phoebe, who come from different con artists families.

They are partners in crime, scamming their way from city to city.

When Phoebe and Hailey (her BFF/ Rocky's sister) latest con goes wrong, Hailey decides to get out and start a new "normal" live.

Hailey convinces Phoebe to go along.

When they arrive in Connecticut Rocky catches up with them, deciding to stick around for this adventure.

I loved seeing glimpses from Phoebe and Rocky their pas, how they got to a complex relationship to the point they are at now.

We get a enemies to lovers with soulmate vibes (they belong together).

I for one can't wait to see what happens next in this series.

I was hooked from the first moment and could not put the book down.

En bref, j'ai beaucoup aimé les personnages, vivre chaque instant avec eux mais certaines petites choses m'ont aussi un peu agacée... même si je comprends leurs sentiments, les hauts et les bas et les drames qui se jouent tout au long de l'histoire. Les événements ne nous laissent pas souffler et on ressent facilement leurs doutes et leurs peurs mais j'aurais aimé que certaines choses prennent une tournure un peu différente. En tout cas les personnages sont géniaux et je suis curieuse de voir ce que la suite va bien pouvoir donner... Vivement !!

OMG. I really loved this book. The story follows a family of cons except now a few of them want to clean up their act and settle down....as if that is going to be possible. I was a big fan of the romance between the two main characters as well as the friendships. The only thing I didn't love about this book was the really slow start. I buddy read this with @thebookishwitchling her during her exams and me on a long, long flight journey, but we both breezed through it in like a day! This book was so gripping and intriguing, I really could not put it down! The character dynamics, especially between the two MCs and with a wild card character (you'll know when you read!) were written so well, and the romance's angst was absolute perfection. The book ended on such a cliffhanger okay, I can't WAIT for the next one!

This was the first book I've read by these authors, and I really want to binge their other books now!!! I'm absolutely obsessed with Rocky and Pheobe! The buildup and tension between them were amazing😍🙌 The plot twists completely shocked me, but I loved it so much! I thought the plot overall was very interesting, and it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book and am so excited for book 2!!

I thought this book started off super slow, at least for me. I am normally someone who needs to be hooked and intrigued with it the first few chapters and I just felt like that was lacking here. It didn’t hold my attention where I wanted to pick the book up any chance I got where as their other books have. The ending is what saved it for me. I was finally feeling like I was more invested in the book. I look forward to book number 2. Hoping it peaks my interests earlier in the book than book number 1 did.

Dishonestly Yours was one of those books where you flip to the last page and are mind-blown by what you just read. It’s a slow-burn romance filled with thrilling, suspenseful, action and dramatic scenes. This book had me in a chokehold, not knowing their next move. They had me seated on the edge of my chair, shocked, gasping, and annotating like crazy.

Phoebe and Rocky’s chemistry had me speechless. So much angst and tension. What an emotional rollercoaster they are both on! So close yet so far for one another to have each other than fake dating and making it official. Seeing them trying to escape their past and start fresh but having to put it all on hold due to their parents made me cry. Also, we can’t forget Hailey and Phoebe’s friendship so cute having each other’s back.

The ending I was not expecting! I have so many questions and answers needed !! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.
