“I’m your Phoebe”
“I’m your Rocky”
This was my first book by Krista and Becca that I’ve read and I can’t wait to read more, especially within this series!
I absolutely loved this book!! The characters, the romance, the drama, the twists are all just *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏻
Phoebe and Hailey want to escape the con artist lifestyle their families have raised them in, but Hailey’s older brother, Rocky, won’t let them do it alone.
This grumpy x grumpy story had me hooked from beginning to end with twists and surprises.
I need the next one ASAP!! 🍓🤭
I felt at times this was a little bit too chaotic and at some moments I felt like the authors just thought we would know everything without fully giving us what we needed.
However, I did find myself oddly addicted to it.

DISHONESTLY YOURS offers a captivating narrative filled with danger, longing, & intense chemistry, gripping you from the very beginning. The unique plot stands out from anything I have encountered before, with characters that are richly developed & engaging. The story delivers a blend of high stakes & emotional depth, keeping you thoroughly invested.
Told through a dual POV with chapters that alternate between past & present, the structure enhances character development & sets a vivid scene. The MC’s, Phoebe & Rocky, are particularly compelling, their longing & personal journeys palpable through the pages 🥵 .
This story explores themes of starting anew & the lengths one will go to protect loved ones, making it both thrilling & emotionally resonant. The book serves as a strong foundation for future installments, & I eagerly anticipate the next chapter in this series!

𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘁: Phoebe Graves grew up in a family where deception & seduction were normal. After a con job goes wrong, she & her best friend Hailey run away to a small town in Connecticut. Hailey’s handsome brother, Rocky, insists on joining them, complicating their fresh start. Phoebe fears Rocky will pull them back into their old ways of lying. As she adapts to their new life, she discovers the value of reputation & dreams of a normal life with Rocky.
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5 stars
Don't come for me, BUT.... this one just took me forever to get invested!! HOWEVER, after about 35% in, it really turned around! I ended up loving the plot, staying up 'til the wee hours of the morning reading! And Rocky and Phoebe's characters really grew on me, especially Rocky 😍
The mutual pining and slow burn OMG! 🔥 The slowest of slow burns here. But so. WORTH. it.
The book ended on a (small) cliff hanger, which is never my favorite, but has me anxious for the next book! 🍓🕷️🕸️
Thank you to Valentine PR and Netgalley for the ARC!
What happens when 2 con artists try to live an honest life?
Lots of secrets, banter, tension, and angst.
This book was a slow start for me, but after giving it a chance, it really surprised me. Rocky and Phoebe’s chemistry and tension was off the charts! I would’ve loved more of a love triangle vibe with Jack, i felt like there was some good tension there, that would’ve really made the story 5 ⭐️ for me.
I’m excited to see what’s next for this band of thieves.
"Dishonestly Yours" by Krista and Becca Ritchie is a captivating and emotionally charged romance that explores the complexities of love, ambition, and personal growth. Set in the glamorous world of high-stakes journalism, the novel follows the turbulent relationship between Keaton Bridge, a charismatic investigative journalist known for his tenacity and charm, and Mallory Monroe, an ambitious reporter determined to make her mark in the competitive field.

Krista and Becca Ritchie's ability to craft memorable characters and intricate plots shines brightly in this novel, making it a standout addition to contemporary romance literature.
Dishonestly Yours by Krista Ritchie is the first book in a new series title Webs We Weave. I have been looking forward to this book since I first heard about it. Two families involved in cons around the country always looking for the next con/payday/target. Parents who involved their children from a young age. When Phoebe and Hailey decide to have a fresh start after a con gone wrong and live an honest life, they keep getting pulled back into the life. Rocky, Hailey's older brother, and Phoebe have always had a thing for eachother but could never act on it because of the family. Their story plays out on the pages of this book. This book was hard to get into as there were a lot of characters at first and the timeline bounced around. About half way through the book, things started to pick up and made for a really good slow burn story. I'm looking forward to seeing where this series will take us next!
We follow Rocky and Phoebe, who come from different con artists families.
They are partners in crime, scamming their way from city to city.
When Phoebe and Hailey (her BFF/ Rocky's sister) latest con goes wrong, Hailey decides to get out and start a new "normal" live.
Hailey convinces Phoebe to go along.
When they arrive in Connecticut Rocky catches up with them, deciding to stick around for this adventure.
I loved seeing glimpses from Phoebe and Rocky their pas, how they got to a complex relationship to the point they are at now.
We get a enemies to lovers with soulmate vibes (they belong together).
I for one can't wait to see what happens next in this series.
I was hooked from the first moment and could not put the book down.
Vivement !!
OMG. I really loved this book. The story follows a family of cons except now a few of them want to clean up their act and settle down....as if that is going to be possible. I was a big fan of the romance between the two main characters as well as the friendships. The only thing I didn't love about this book was the really slow start. The first few chapters had me worried for a sec but I throughly enjoyed the book once it picked up! AND THE ENDING. I need to know what happens next!!!! Thank you Valentine PR for the ARC!
Ok first off, I'm FREAKING OUT about the fact that I got this arc! Tysmm @valentine_pr_ for the opportunity!
I buddy read this with @thebookishwitchling her during her exams and me on a long, long flight journey, but we both breezed through it in like a day! This book was so gripping and intriguing, I really could not put it down! The character dynamics, especially between the two MCs and with a wild card character (you'll know when you read!) were written so well, and the romance's angst was absolute perfection. The book ended on such a cliffhanger okay, I can't WAIT for the next one!
-- ty to the author, the publisher and @valentine_pr_ for an advanced copy!
☆Pheobe♡
This was the first book I've read by these authors, and I really want to binge their other books now!!! I'm absolutely obsessed with Rocky and Pheobe! The buildup and tension between them were amazing😍🙌 The plot twists completely shocked me, but I loved it so much! I thought the plot overall was very interesting, and it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book and am so excited for book 2!!
Krista and Becca Ritchie's "Dishonestly Yours" marks the beginning of the intriguing Webs We Weave series, perfect for fans of morally complex characters. Phoebe and her lifelong friend, Hailey, were raised in a world of deception, conning the wealthy as a way of life. When a con goes awry, they seek a fresh start in a quiet coastal town, aiming for a simpler existence. However, their plans are complicated when Hailey's brother, Rocky, joins them, leading Phoebe to question her trust in him amidst their undeniable chemistry. As Phoebe grapples with her past and present choices, her journey towards honesty and self-discovery is both heartrending and empowering. Meanwhile, Rocky's internal battles and moral dilemmas add depth to the story, creating a captivating narrative full of twists and turns. In Dishonestly Yours, you will find drama, friendship, banter and romance. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series because Krista and Becca left us with a twist at the end I didn’t see coming.
🍓Thank you so much to Krista and Becca Ritchie, Valentine PR, Berkley Romance and NetGalley for the eARC. All opinions expressed are my own.
I thought this book started off super slow, at least for me. I am normally someone who needs to be hooked and intrigued with it the first few chapters and I just felt like that was lacking here. It didn’t hold my attention where I wanted to pick the book up any chance I got where as their other books have. The ending is what saved it for me. I was finally feeling like I was more invested in the book. I look forward to book number 2. Hoping it peaks my interests earlier in the book than book number 1 did.

Thank you for the ARC and opportunity @valentine_pr_
You need to run and buy this book. I don’t make the rules, but it’s a must-read for the summer.
Dishonestly Yours was one of those books where you flip to the last page and are mind-blown by what you just read. It’s a slow-burn romance filled with thrilling, suspenseful, action and dramatic scenes. This book had me in a chokehold, not knowing their next move. They had me seated on the edge of my chair, shocked, gasping, and annotating like crazy.
Phoebe and Rocky’s chemistry had me speechless. So much angst and tension. What an emotional rollercoaster they are both on! So close yet so far for one another to have each other than fake dating and making it official. Seeing them trying to escape their past and start fresh but having to put it all on hold due to their parents made me cry. Also, we can’t forget Hailey and Phoebe’s friendship so cute having each other’s back.
The ending I was not expecting! I have so many questions and answers needed !! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

This is the first book in a series and there is definitely a cliffhanger, but worth reading now! I loved everything about it- the characters, the storyline, the struggling romance, the mystery. In addition to the cons, there is plenty of good banter and conflict between characters to keep engaged and wanting to experience more. No one has gotten their HEA, but I still have every hope that it’s possible. Hoping the next book in the series comes out soon!
I was extremely excited going into this book as well as a little nervous because it is a new group of characters for Krista & Becca. But, LET ME TELL YOU! This book exceeded my expectations. It did start off a little slow but as soon as it picked up I could not put it down. Getting to really know the depth of Rocky & Phoebe from then to now was so captivating to me. Let me just tell you they are soul mates soul mates . The angst and tension when together but also hearing their inner feelings gave me all the warm and fuzzy things. The little nod to the addicted Calloway series towards the end made my heart happy but THAT ENDING… I definitely wasn’t ready for that! So … we need book two already 😅😅
Thank you again to @kbmritchie and @valentine_pr_ 💗
Final Rating : 4.75✨
I was going to start off this review by saying I truly don't know how Krista and Becca continue to blow me away with each new book I read from them, but that would be a lie. They have such a special voice and their stories truly consume you to the point where it's almost painful to put the book down! They do found family like no other, and I adored this book because it was so different from everything l've read lately. Phoebe, Rocky, and their siblings all come from families who are con artists, and this book takes you through some of the cons they have run and what brought them to where they are today trying to make a new life for themselves. Even in a web of lies, twists, turns, and deceit, the one thing that Phoebe and Rocky have that is constant is the love they have for each other. AND WHEN THE TENSION FINALLY SNAPS AHHHHH!!! This build up had me SWEATING it was so good. There was banter, tension, pining, some jealousy scenes (my FAV) but also the way everyone in the books protects each other and stands up for one another melted my heart. I loved learning more about Phoebe and Hailey's friendship, and I am so excited to see the journey Krista and Becca take these characters on in the next two books in this series!
Also a very big thank you to @valentine_pr_for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review 🍓🤍🕷️
Yall... when I tell you the last time I was extremely desperate for book 2 of a series it was probably Fourth Wing/Iron Flame. And then again Powerless/Reckless. YOU GUYSSSSS!!! This book is
1O the drama, the con artists, it's always been you,
best friends older brother tropes and a tiny bit of forbidden romance?!? The way this book ended on a freakin cliffhanger!!!
I'm deceased. I need book 2 like yesterday.
If you enjoyed The Addicted Series, you're gonna wanna add this one to your TBR stat!
REVIEW: DISHONESTLY YOURS BY KRISTA & BECCA RITCHIE
RATING: 3/5 ⭐️
SYNOPSIS: Phoebe Graves grew up in a family where deception and seduction are as commonplace as breathing. The Graves and her best friend Hailey’s family have been on the run their whole lives, but after a high-stakes con job goes south, Phoebe and Hailey decide to run away and start over. The small Connecticut town they settle in seems too good to be true.
The biggest flaw in their plan is Hailey’s frustratingly handsome brother, Rocky, who insists on coming with them. Living honestly isn’t in his DNA, and his past with Phoebe is downright messy. He’s everything she wants, but nothing she can have.
Phoebe worries that Rocky will tempt them back into their old ways, where lying is second nature. She doesn’t want Rocky to mess up the new life she’s begun for herself. The longer she stays in town, the more she realizes what it means to have a reputation—and what a normal life with the man she loves could look like.
wanted to start off by saying thank you!!! to @valentine_pr_ for sending this arc over 🤍
i loveeee love love the addicted/calloway sisters series, so i was SO excited to get my hands on this! it fell a little flat for me, but still an entertaining read. i wasn’t the biggest fan of phoebe’s character, but actually really liked hailey & rocky. there was a lot of mention about phoebe’s older brothers, which seemed unnecessary. i also felt like we heard so much about them + the parents, but i also didn’t know anything about them at all?
this is a SLOOOOOW burn, so if that isn’t your thing, i’d skip this one! lots of angst, but the payoff is not worth the buildup imo
it looks like this is set up to be a series, so interested to see where the plot goes!
