A lovely story about two boys growing relationship from friendship to something more serious. I cannot wait to see where the story goes.
As a dedicated fan of slow burn, one-shot stories always leave me wanting for more, but I was willing to give this one a shot. I'd never read anything from this mangaka before, so I was excited to see what their style was, both in terms of narrative and art style. For a single volume love story, I think that the characters are fleshed out pretty well.
The main leads are well-established as best friends who have been attached at the hip for years, so it does make you feel for them when they're separated by class for their final year of high school. The tension between them builds up well throughout, though the payoff/conclusion left a bit to be desired for me. I liked it, but I didn't love it. 3.5/5 Stars.
I would like to thank NetGallery and Kodansha Comics for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. This book has LGBT+ themes. This book is about friendship turning to love and how that can be a bit stressful.
They are SOO CUTE! Every single interaction between Ren and Kai made my heart beat faster. I was on the edge to see where they'll head with their feelings. The author should just have added more chapters/made it into a series. I NEED more cute scenes between the two of them.
Standard BL fare. I'm sure it will do well enough with avid BL manga readers, but there are a lot of better options out there, and I don't see this one becoming especially popular.
A super cute achillean high school romance following two school friends. Art style is great, story is so cute. Loved it!
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
Just no. I did not enjoy this at all. It was horrible. The art style was ok but that’s about it. Hated the story too
I really like Nagisa Furuya-san's works and this was no exception. Their ability to write and visually depict the emotions of a teen boy who is going through an understandably change of emotions upon realizing their feelings for their friend is so great. It's so sweet how everything comes together at the end. It's the perfect book to sit back to and read. I really recommend anyone to read this manga.
A cute story. I honestly like the art and how it was told. I think my only problem is the execution, there some inconsistencies as well. Overall, it was good read.
Beautifully drawn !!! I was a big fan of My Summer of You, so I was very excited to read this one, and I loved it just as much !!! A very sweet story, and I loved how one friend was so oblivious, whilst the other was not.
Short and sweet, Nothing game changing but still adorable. Although it doesn’t change the genre there is still a definite need for books like this to exist. I thought it was super cute and loved how it showed both their feelings.
My Ultramarine Sky by Nagisa Furuya is a captivating manga that explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery with stunning artwork and compelling storytelling. Furuya's illustrations are breathtaking, bringing the characters and their emotions to life on the page. The narrative is both poignant and thought-provoking, drawing readers into the protagonist's journey as they navigate through the complexities of life and relationships. While some readers may find the pacing a bit slow at times, the depth of character development and emotional resonance more than make up for it. My Ultramarine Sky is a must-read for fans of manga looking for a beautifully crafted story that will stay with them long after they finish reading.

A short and sweet manga about childhood friends turning into something more. There was nothing really special about the story, it was fairly generic, but I can't help myself from feeling giddy when I read these typical BL stories. As always, I wish there were more to the story, but everything was wrapped up nice and neat. I read this in about 45 minutes, so if you're looking for a cute manga to sneak into your day, this cute one could be for you!
Another beautiful manga! I loved the art style and the story so far. This was very cute and a nice friends to lovers story. It is a slow pace for their relationship, but the drawing really portrays and displays so many emotions as you read.
A lighthearted romance between two high school boys who have been friends for a while and are unaware of the romantic feelings they have for each other. For the first time in years they are not in the same class and realize how much they miss being around each other. Overall, a cute romance for those looking for an easy read.
This was so cute! Nicely drawn and carefully plotted. Both Ren and Kai were relatable and you will find yourself rooting for both of them immediately.
The story was cute but I would have liked it to go a little deeper. The theme was nice, with this secret confession of one's love for the other. The story develops around this secret. The drawings are pretty, the pace calm (perhaps a little too calm, in fact). The characters are endearing, but I wasn't greatly moved by their emotions either. I missed something to be totally convinced.
Two guy friends, Kai and Ren, have been sitting together in the same classes since middle school but find themselves separated in their last year of highschool. Kai feels Ren slipping away but whispers his true feelings which Ren hears. Though a short, slow burn read, this was a cute, soft boys love. Thanks NetGalley and Kodansha for the copy!
Thanks NetGalley and Kodansha Comics for this arc!
5/5 stars!
This was just so sweet, and such a fast read! I forgot it was just a single volume and was sad when it ended lol. LOVED it!
