This is the third book in the Quentin Cadbury Investigations series. It's a cosy mystery set in Australia.
Welcome to Australia!
This books sits you down on a cold and rainy day and delivers your warm tea between your hands and has you invested. Get comfortable because this is a cozy mystery! You do not need to read the previous books in the series to catchup in this book. It can be read as a stand-alone. However, because i liked it so much I will go back and read the others.

I haven't read any of the other books in the series, but I quite liked this. It was very light, easy reading, short enough to read in one sitting, if so desired, and it had the cosy quality that I was hoping for. I warmed to the detectives, Quentin and Wanda, and I liked how they worked together. There was also some humour scattered throughout the book, which I enjoyed. Based on this, I think I would like to read some of the others in this series.

An entertaining and well plotted cozy mystery that I thoroughly enjoyed. Tightly knittted, entertaining and solid. It kept me guessing and turning pages
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
Light little mystery read a perfect distraction for a long winters day two british PIs in Australia on holiday get involved with solving a string of burglaries
This was. a good book, nicely written cozy mystery. With the lingering threats against him, Quentin decides it is a good time to visit his family in Australia, and take Wanda with him. While there they stumble on a series of thefts, and of course can only resist getting involved for so long. As always, the characters are completely enjoyable, and the setting was great. While the plot moved a little slow in this book, it still had a great mystery, some action, and aa nice twist. Overall a great read.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

But when he hears about a spate of robberies in their Sydney neighbourhood, Quentin cannot resist the opportunity to put his detective skills to the test. And hopefully prove his worth to his ever-disapproving father. With few clues to go on and the sun bearing down, Quentin and Wanda will struggle like fish out of water. Can they come up trumps and earn some respect?
This was slow but readable. I did like the story. I liked
Quentin and Wanda. They were great together. I did like how close the family were. I did like how Wanda helped Shelagh. I did like how Herbert and Quentin worked together. Although this my first book by this author I was still able to read it. I will be reading more from this author. I am looking forward to the next book. I hope there is more coming. 3*.
