I really enjoyed this book! A great summer read that in my opinion was well paced. A lot of really enjoyable concepts throughout. Not necessarily super memorable, but I remember really enjoying it while reading it! The characters were very like able and I enjoyed the setting. It definitely made me want to travel to the beach! I would recommend to a friend, especially if they were going on vacation or to the beach

Another hit for MKA! Summers at the Saint is an entertaining read and perfect for a summertime murder mystery. The queen of beach reads scores again!

Summer isn't summer without an MKA novel. I have been lucky enough to have reviewed her books every release for quite a long time and am never disappointed. Wonderful characters and a great storyline in an atmospheric beach read is a signature writing style that I look forward to with every release. Summers at the Saint hits the right spot, just as predicted. A strong female lead, a mystery, and a wrong to set right, the only downside is reading it too quickly.
I received an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Mary Kay Andrews is a legendary author for a reason!!! Who doesn't love an MKA Book?? A perfect romance and feel good book. Netgalley continues to grant my request for MKA books and for that, I am so grateful! Thank you Netgalley!
I hope both OG and new readers to Nora Roberts pick this book up! It's a great one.

I enjoyed this book by Andrews. A fun summer read, with a lot of deep story lines to keep you engaged.

Light and beachy read. I can count on Mary Kay Andrews to keep me entertained.
Traci becomes the woman in charge of the infamous Saint Hotel in Georgia after marrying the owners son. She’s working on restoring this landmark when tragedy strikes. Told from multiple POVs we get a story of who done it, investigating.
The ending wasn’t terribly surprising but that’s not what makes a story. It’s the filler, the character development and how the story made you feel. Mary Kay Andrews stories typically seem to be a bit far fetched and dramatic but still lovely reads.

This book was seriously so good!! Whenever Mary Kay Andrews has a new book out, I so look forward to reading it! She is absolutely one of my top favorite authors.
I love that her books have a little bit of everything in them. I especially loved the cozy mystery vibes in this book and the southern setting. I felt like I was there at the luxury resort with the characters. My only problem with this book was there were too many character POVs , so it was hard to keep track of everyone. But other than that, I absolutely loved the book. It is a page turner for sure. If you’re looking for a cozy book to read during the summer, I highly recommend this one!

I really just pove everything Mary Kay Andrews writes. Her books are summer to me. They are a warm and breezy and bright. Loved this.

Summer at the Saint is a twisting tale of a local institution that serves as a playground for the wealthy, the Saint Cecilia. With the owner of the hotel, Traci Eddings, the reader experiences of tumultuous summer of intrigue, death, crime, and revisiting old wounds.
While some of the events of this book are fascinating, the book really doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. As you start out, it's to see how two old friends can recover from a long-ago feud. But, then it turns into a mystery where an old crime needs to be solved. Add to that: current crimes being committed in secret, a jumble of young summer workers thrown together in a newly-built dorm, and even a murder. Really, I think only one or two of these plot points would suffice.
The reason that all of these things can happen is that the reader is reminded of all the stories at each turn--and near the end, you get to reread the exciting points again and again as the characters tell each other the story. This gets redundant and doesn't seem to benefit the reader, only annoy. It was a decent story, but it's not something that you can really put into a solid category, which may inhibit or disappoint some readers who pick it up.

With SUMMERS AT THE SAINT, Mary Kay Andrews introduces us to Tracy Eddings, a girl from the wrong side of the tracks who has always loved The Saint but could only hope to work there, not stay. When an unexpected twist finds her married into the family and running the resort on her own after her husband’s death. On her quest to restore The Saint to its former glory she enlists the aid of an unexpected group of employees to help bring it back. A startling tragic death brings to light secrets, new and old, that threaten the future of Tracy and The Saint.
Andrews continues to write novels that have memorable characters and storylines that will keep you glued to the pages. Find a place to settle down and check in to The Saint.
Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of the novel. All opinions are my own and freely given.

This is not a summer rom-com even though that it what I would have guessed based on the cover. This is a "murder-mystery" with some us vs them dynamics. Add in a mad ex-best friend, a dormitory of young new staffers and money problems... it is a perfect setting for a mess!
Love Mary Kay Andrews books and this one did not disappoint. While not a rom-com it is a wonderful and light read. With plenty of drama and twists!

Ms. Andrew’s has been an auto-buy author for years. I always love reading her books, especially during the summer months. The details always allow me to perfectly picture the story she is telling.

The Saint is a fun read filled with love, friendship, and mystery. The characters are well developed and the story line is captivating. Overall, you can’t go wrong with MKA.

I loved Summers at the Saint. It mixed romance, murder, and grief into a fun holiday story that kept me turning the pages. I really enjoyed the characters and how Andrews wrapped all of their stories together. It had twists I did not see coming, which made Summers at the Saint feel more like a mystery than women's fiction.
The more I read from Mary Kay Andrews, the more I am hooked on her stories and writing style. Summers at the Saint is one to check out!
Thank you St. Martins Press and NetGalley for the gifted eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I went into this book thinking it was just another chick-lit, rom-com, summer beach read (not that there is anything wrong with that, I love those books!) but I was so wrong. There was humor, mystery, suspense...it grabbed me right from the beginning. I may have also blown off work for an hour when I accidentally got engrossed and just kept reading straight through my lunch break.

Love Mary Kay Andrews and this audiobook was fantastic. Fast paced! While kind of cheesy and predicitable, a perfect summer time beach read/listen!

This was such a fun summer read! I read earlier in the summer and just realized that my review was never posted.
So sorry to the publisher and author for my mistake.
Seriously, if you need something to read by the pool, this is the one.

Thank you #Netgalley for the copy!
The Saint is a hotel on the coast that has signified so much for many different people. This is a private golf club and has an exclusive for members only mentality. This story bounces from childhood of Shannon and Tracy and their experience working at the club, which leads us to present day and how they lives turned out so differently. Some have secrets, while others are struggling to maintain the family legacy. Many twists and turns, an enjoyable read!

This story was not what I was expecting at all, but I still really enjoyed it. Felt it was a little long and repetitive, but it scratched that Summer reading itch.

I love Mary Kay Andrews’ books, she’s such a good story teller and this one reminded me of an Elin Hilderbrand beach read. This has a good mixture of family drama, mystery and romance. There’s always something going on so I never wanted to put it down. Also no shortage of characters which is my reason for taking a star off. It’s easy to follow the important characters, however it just wasn’t necessary to have 30+ extras even mentioned.
Thank you, NetGalley & St. Martin’s Press for this ARC.
