Three spicy excerpts of the latest in the Dark Olympus series. We find Orpheus, Eurydice, and Charon in a spicy puppy play situation, and the sneak peek only wants me to read more.

Thank you SO much to Netgalley and Sourcebooks for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Katee Robert is back! I'm not gonna lie, the last few in this series fell kind of flat for me. The chemistry just wouldn't or couldn't match what I saw in Neon Gods but I don't know what inspires Robert. My current theory is that she just thrives in the lower city but whatever magic she needed she sure found.
Midnight Ruin picks up following the events of Cruel Seduction. Charon and Eurydice finally make their feelings known to each other after a year of friendship and start doing something about it. In step Orpheus- who's only wish is to pay penance for his actions that lead to Eurydice being injured at the end of Neon Gods. Orpheus travels to the lower city at Orpheus' invitation to initiate some closure between him and Eurydice so that she and Charon can move forward. But in doing so it's discovered that Orpheus is more than happy to pay this penance on his knees. The puppy play aspect was not my cup of tea but it was still both heart warming and hot to see him totally give himself over as an apology. The dynamic between these three never lacked for chemistry and didn't take an huge leaps that didn't take the reader with them. In summary- I love them and am so pleased they got a happy for now.
The other aspect of this book that really brought it up to the 5th star. These are action/ romance and in past books I have seen Robert sacrifice one in the name of the other but this one was balanced SO well. Spice then action then spice and hey! more action. it was great.
I am so fully invested in how Olympus is going to come together to fight off the top secret big bad (revealed in this book) and am only annoyed that it's going to take 4 more books to see this resolved. Oddly enough I'm also glad I have that many more in the series to read!

I can't wait for this book. Cannot. Wait. There's just something about a Katee Robert book. Especially the Dark Olympus series. I just love them.

This preview is such a tease and I can’t wait to read the full book. I love Katee Robert’s Dark Olympus series and this book already sounds like a great one. The relationship dynamic between Charon, Orpheus and Eurydice promises to be complicated and exciting. I love reading about BDSM/kink and this story is definitely set up to bring it.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me advance access to this sneak peak!

Three chapters was definitely enough to get me hooked and I can’t wait for the full book. As a huge fan of the Dark Olympus series and the musical Hadestown, I can’t wait to see Katee Robert’s take on their myth. I’m also excited to see Eurydice’s growth from the quiet one that needs her sisters to protect her to someone who is in charge of her own story. Not sure if I’m ready to forgive Orpheus yet though! I usually don’t choose to read degradation BDSM stories but I’m going in with an open mind. I’m not going to yuck someone else’s yum but it may not be my cup of tea.

This preview was such a tease for what’s to come next in The World of Dark Olympus. I feel like the author gave just enough to pull you in, and thankfully we don’t have to wait much longer.
I love that we are finally going to experience the story of these characters after we had been given glimpses during the other books of the series. My interest was already piqued and I can’t wait to dive in.
Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for the opportunity to read this preview. All opinions are my own.

I have been waiting to read this book since the first book in the series and reading this only makes me even more excited to read this book in full when it comes out.

3 short chapters of erotic scenes. This is definitely different from what I’ve read before, but I have to admit it was interesting in the good way. I enjoyed these little chapters and I can’t wait to read more of her books

Gah! Why isn’t this book out yet? Katee Robert writes the hottest books. From this preview this book will be no different. I can not wait!

Wow!! Absolutely loved this preview and cannot wait for the book to come out. Charon, Eurydice, and Orpheus are a pairing that I never would have thought of, but cannot wait to see play out. Their dynamic already has so many delightful possibilities! Also, I'm cackling at the "Eurydice's guide to puppy play-bringing your boyfriend to heel" sticker on this cover edition- amazing.
Thank you to Katee Robert, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Netgalley for a free preview in exchange for honest feedback.

Thank you NetGalley, Katee Robert, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this preview of Midnight Ruin in exchange for an honest review.
This was a great teaser into the dynamic between Eurydice, Orpheus, and Charon. Looking forward to reading the new book.

All this preview did was increase my excitement over this book! I can't wait to read more to see how Katee changes my opinion of Orpheus.

Thank you NetGalley for this free preview for my honest review.
Wow - this was not what I was expecting, but I thought it was really good! I haven’t read any of Katee’s other books before and I think it’s high time that I do. This was steamy, and just enough of an excerpt that I’m left wanting more of this book!

Instead of three chapters, it's three excerpts that seem to make up the same scene but with some things missing.
I'm really excited for the rest of the book and learning the relationship dynamics.

The preview of this book already has me ruined! We're given a little taste of what this book will be like, and it definitely gets you ready for the main course. This glimpse into Eurydice, Charon, and Orpheus' relationship is raw and steamy. I love that we got to read all three of their perspectives, and see what they were feeling and thinking in the same situation. I am so ready for this whole book!

Ahhhhhhh! I can’t wait for the full book, this preview is perfection! Eurydice was always the sweet, innocent sister but maybe she’s not so sweet and innocent anymore…

Thank you to Net galley for this chance. I for one love love Katee Robert books. This one caught me off guard in a good way. Made me step out of my comfort zone. Even though it was only part of the story still i very much enjoyed the story. I recommend her books to anyone. Im never disappointed. Cant wait to read the whole book.

I wish I could get an ARC on the entire book because just this excerpt is gripping! The glimpse into the deepened relationship dynamic between Eurydice, Charon, and Orpheus is quite entertaining!

A short and tasty tease will get you ready for Euridice, Orpheus, and Charon as they navigate the trials of Olympus. Who knew? A fun little scene will whet your appetite for the main course!

The Dark Olympus Series has been great fun for me from the beginning and thus far there has not been a single one of these books I haven’t liked, I can tell from this sneak peak that Midnight Ruin will be another wild ride.
And ohh boy did this sneak peak jump right in! We get a taste of some of the juicy stuff between Orpheus, Charon and Eurydice and were given a little bit of the political intrigue that helps set this series apart.
From Book One we have been drip fed information about Eurydice and we have watched her grow through the perspective of different protagonists who vary in their proximity to her (her sisters, mothers colleagues and general acquaintances) so it is very exciting to see the cut throat world of New Olympus through her eyes.
I am so excited to read this one in its entirety!
