I love baking but sometimes I find it hard to find the time to these recipes will help me to make more easier and with less stress or rushing.

A lovely no-nonsense baking book with lots of tempting recipes to try, mainly sweet but with a few savoury offerings. Gorgeous colour photos accompany most of the bakes to tempt the reader to giving the recipes a go. I'm always on the look out for simple quick bakes for our monthly village coffee morning and will certainly be trying some in this book for our next event as there are quite a few different ideas to try. Although the publication is obviously for America the quantities are also in pounds and ounces plus grams for this side of the Atlantic and there are no strange ingredients in the mix.. Clear and easy to follow methods with nothing taking too much time.

I thought the recipes were fine but nothing i haven't seen many times before. Some of the recipes like a rhubarb and custard dessert called for pre=made ingredients like the literal custard that made up half the dish. I realize it's a British cookbook and that is pretty common there but it seems a little like cheating to just buy it instead of making it. It does not take much longer than mixing up the powder.

If you like nuts, this may be a cookbook for you. I do not, so this book is not for me. And yes, there are some other recipes, but I thought it was more to do with pastry. This covers almost everything except dinner. Yeasted bread, different doughs, (I thought this was a simple baking book?) I thank NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group- White Lion for the advance read.

I love baking, love quick and easy recipes and love eating and sharing my delights. And this yummy cookbook will help me with all of this and more. All the recipes are drool-worthy and fun to make. I will be working my way through every recipe in this book and I know my family and friends will be delighted with the rewards.
A great book with easy to follow recipes that use everyday ingredients. There are classics with a twist and the photos, well all I can say is YUM! I'm going back to the kitchen now to do some more baking!
Thank you NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – White Lion for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Could Florence stop by???every single baked good made my stomach growl and mouth drool. I loved that there was a late night baking chapter! The pictures are incredible, the recipes have just the right amount of ingredients and directions. I can't wait to order this book!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of Part-Time Baker.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well conceived and fun Part-Time Baker is.
As a lifelong lover of sweets and all things fun carbs, I would 100% make nearly everything in this cookbook, especially the mini pina colada loaf cakes.
There are some creative twists on old classics, with easy to read and follow instructions, and mouth watering photos.
I just wished all the recipes had photos. That's my only gripe.
Naturally, some of the recipes I was interested in had no photos!
I enjoyed the author's easygoing nature and tone of the book; she makes baking fun and enjoyable for all cooks, not just the good ones.
I'm no chef or baker, but Part-Time Baker encourages baking can be for everyone and have fun doing so!

This book is filling a super valid niche in the cookbook world. I like to bake, but I don't always have time to make chantilly creme or other really elaborate things. If you like baking but find most baking-related cookbooks either too basic or too over-the-top, this is a great one. Would make a great gift for a friend who wants to spend more time baking, too.

What a fun little cook book! As somebody who loves to bake and partially does it for a living, there are some amazing recipes I just can’t wait to try. While reading it I was very tempted to jump out of bed and go try a couple out. There are fun flavor combinations, beautiful pictures, and easy to follow instructions. My only gripe would be that I prefer to have a couple progress photos included with recipes so it’s easier to follow along and make sure I’m doing things right instead of waiting until the end and hoping it turns out.

Easy to read recipes, appreciate the photos of the food. The recipes appeared delicious!! However, all seem to very high in calories! I will use several of the recipes but probably will not bake these recipes regularly due to high calorie counts!

I was pleasantly surprised by the recipes in this book. You get more than just basic recipes and the same flavor profiles. I would have never thought French toast could be savory. Florence takes you through new possibilities of what can be done in a small amount of time. Guiding you through what has been learned through her expertise and sharing it with the reader/baker. You can sense the joy in sharing these recipes through the explanations. There is also great care in multiple options being provided for weights and measurements. The book is great for beginners and advanced bakers alike, giving options for both to learn something new.

As a pastry chef, this looks to me like a great beginners guide to baking. Simple and straight forward, no frills, and no overwhelming or overly detailed information that looks to bombard the reader. If you are a novice and unsure where to start, or even more proficient and looking for easy and appealing recipes, this looks like it could be the book for you.

Part-Time Baker is a well written cookbook, filled with easy to follow recipes and photographs to give the reader an idea of what they are getting themselves into (in a perfect world where every baking project turns out on the first go.) Florence Stanton does a great job of keeping these projects down to earth and simple for the everyday baker, and I have multiple items to add to my arsenal now. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to make baking more accessible.

Love the simplicity of the recipes and the color pictures that go with it! Makes it less intimidating when I can see what my final product will look like!

Wow this author needs to rethink the part-time part of this title! These recipes are so amazing she should definitely turn this full time because not only are these recipes delicious they are really easy to make. The author writes easily to follow instructions with easy to find ingredients. Though I’ve never seen instant custard here but that’s the only ingredient I saw.

Very cute cookbook with nice recipes. Liked the layout and photos very much. Have bookmarked some for future bakes. Would make a great gift.

I was interested in reviewing this cookbook because of the title. I assumed that the recipes would be easy to use but actually they more represent normal baking times and ingredients. As a vegan, nowadays, there are a few vegan recipes in new cookbooks. This one had none. Also, if the recipes are easy, you can convert them but these are not that easy to do so. Vegan recipes are much easier to make and use less ingredients. I would recommend this book for omnivores because of the diversity of the recipes but not for the vegan baker.

This book is everything it promises to be and more. I love the way the author talks about her joy in baking. In today’s busy world, we all need something to do for fun. A way to de-stress. The recipes in this book are simple and a great variety. The book is laid out in a clean manner and I bookmarked so many of the recipes to try! This is a no frills, and not intimidating book for anyone who wants to bake some tasty treats.

Fantastic book, as soon as I read it there are over a dozen recipes I want to make now, so many more I plan to make in n future too, I will be purchasing a copy for my kitchen as this is such as useful cookbook, so many great ideas, useful tips and information, well laid out, easy instructions and very appealing to the eye. Highly and thoroughly recommended

Beautiful pictures, easy to navigate. Recipes vary in difficulty but seem to be straightforward and clearly written
